    Hey brother! How do I go about wiring up the heated window seeing my car is an AP1??

    • @justingadell

      Unfortunately I can’t aid you much. Mine is an 02 and has wiring for a defroster. If you search S2ki, there are write ups though. Goodluck!

    Do you guys know if a Robbins 2000-2001 top will fit a 2003 S2000? Any idea if there is a difference in tops for the S2K?

      no it will not - ask me how i learned the hard way. 2000-2001 frames = need 2000-2001 robbins specific tops. 2002-2009 is the same frame and tops are the same as well.

    What material finish is that top ? Twill vinyl or cloth?

    Thanks for including your mistakes. Hopefully anyone who needs this watches the whole way through first.

    Hi,
    How has the top help up?
    Any excessive wear? Also what do you clean it with or how do you maintain it?
    Thanks!

      It’s been holding up great! I apply 303 marine spray on it after I wash the car. I’d say I apply the 303 every 3-4 months and it looks as good as the day I installed it

      @justingadell  3 года назад +1

    This job looks like shit, i'd rather pay someone to do this haha. Good job on installing this and filming it!

      I’d rather not do it again...I’ve built just about everything on my CRX. I’m very hands on and I even said ehhh let’s see what Honda would charge. They gave me a “rough” quote of $3500 for an OEM too and install. Due to that well...you watched a video of me doing it lol

      @@justingadell yeah honda prices are insane, i wonder what a convertible place would charge just for the labor. I usually do my own stuff, but a top.. eh no thanks lol

      @@bobbyrios2k223 I got a quote from a local shop today for a glass window Robbins. $2100. I think I’ll try to do this with a buddy or two. Another indie shop 2.5 hours away says he’ll do it for $1350. Not bad, but it’s 2.5 hours away🤦‍♂️ Decisions

      If you just take your time you can do it...block out 2 days depending on your mechanical aptitude just incase. It does suck though

      @@justingadell thanks for the confidence boost! I do brakes, oil, tire rotations. Small stuff like that. I’m ok with tools but I kind of want the experience of doing it. Thanks for the video.
