I’m going to be sad tomorrow…..waking up to a new cruise video every morning is great! If I can’t be actually sailing, I’m happy to live vicariously through you!
They’ll.. be another one soon. They’ve been doing 3-4 sailings a month since the restart. Dee & Jay area regular part of my day. I watch them each morning while drinking my coffee.
Thank you for the shout out from Elation. We are Beyond the Fun John's parents. Love your videos as they show more of the ships' interiors and entertainment. Downright neighborly!
You are really good at not showing other people. If we didn’t notice the other 5 people getting off that excursion boat would have thought you were alone
Much respect to the entertainers on the Elation for continuing to find ways to perform and entertain the cruisers even with so many of them out of action. Their dedication is very impressive.
Fun times! We did that glass bottom boat excursion on our first cruise with Carnival on the Elation! The sharks and other fish would swarm the boat because they knew it was 'dinner time"! LOL Looks like we will be sailing on Elation again in September with her being redeployed back to Jacksonville! Y'all take care and keep posting your fun adventures!
The excursion to see the sharks was great. There quite a lot of them. The singers were pretty good. Like the cheeseburger socks Jay.Dinner was delicious. Dee is always pretty!
That was a great video. Can’t believe how Freeport has developed the cruise terminal. When I went it was mostly wasteland. Appreciate this one. Thanks for sharing.😎
THANKS for the Elation series. We'll be sailing on her in December. Now we have some insight on the Elation. Thanks again - Carnival Magic for 8 days on Saturday.
We just returned from a cruise where there was no clothesline in the tub. I didn't know how much I would mis that. I was a nine-day cruise, so I could have used it.
After vlogging our first cruise and watching your guys content it's insane how good you guys are, we have a new found respect for y'all. Love watching your stuff! Next time you should cage dive with the shark ;)
I believe it's one of their newer "no sugar added" options and it was actually pretty good! It's similar to the "baked apple" from the breakfast menu, though the morning apple is served cold. This was served hot, with a key lime pie filling. Filling was good, but it was slightly weird having hot apple and cold filling, ha ha... :P ~Jay
It started as a gag whenever we had terrible sight lines at a performance, that I would just focus on objects around the room and capture the audio... I believe this was the night we were over to the side of the musicians and again, the sight lines weren't great, ha ha... :P ~Jay
Great adventure! I hear often about the seafood shack on Carnival and can't seem to find any content as to how you feel about them. Can you link me to some?
How was dinner in the MDR the last night? I don’t think you commented on it. Overall, how was the food and service on the Elation? Thanks for the videos!
I'm very glad you chronicle your excursions! For my taste, I'd prefer a shark visit where they turn the engines off, to see the animals in the silence of the seas. Also, the overall inside viewing area has so much framing between the glass ports, I'd like a situation where they'd have a giant 8K TV monitor on the bottom of the boat, with an underwater camera!
Seems like Carnival is keeping the Paradise and Elation around for the long term in terms of Fantasy class. They're getting rid of Ecstasy and Sensation.
Dee started with an Aqua Lung set we bought from a random snorkel site online, but now we have a Cressi set in our Amazon shop, as well as a full-face model!! :D #ad www.parodeejay.com/amazon
We usually find the pricing a bit extreme when going through the cruise line, which is why we tend to go independent. With the last minute port change and lack of time to research, we figured this one was the most fun we could have on short notice!! :P
For an older ship Elation is beautiful and they must be taking good care of her.
I’m going to be sad tomorrow…..waking up to a new cruise video every morning is great! If I can’t be actually sailing, I’m happy to live vicariously through you!
I know! When I get sad though I usually go back and rewatch older episodes...especially of embarkation days bc those are always exciting!
They’ll.. be another one soon. They’ve been doing 3-4 sailings a month since the restart. Dee & Jay area regular part of my day. I watch them each morning while drinking my coffee.
Dee’s stills were National Geographic quality. Thanks

That’s awesome, thanks so much! It was great to see John again onboard as well!! :D
Love that precious ship. 💕 Thank y'all for rekindling our love ❤. We enjoyed the tours y'all shared. Bless you both 🙏 🙏

Wow. Great to see this ship updated and still serving. I was on this ship in 2009 out of San Diego.
Elation was my very first cruise back in the day. I have fond memories of her.
Really enjoyed watching these vlogs. The glass bottom boat excursion being Able to see those sharks up close looked great.
Thank you for the great photos of the sharks Dee!! It was like being on the boat with you.

We are sailing on Elation on 2/19 thanks for the videos - always enjoy you both
I loved this ship when it was in my home port of New Orleans it’s been awhile but it was my first ship ever!
Dee got some great shots of the sharks !!!
What a cool ship with such an old world feel. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for bringing us on this #adventure on a cool ship!
Thanks for this series! We go on the Elation again in just a few weeks!
That’s the backpack Dee got in the mail! I like it.
Thanks so much for sharing the adventures. Those sharks looked so neat. This tour will go into the list for sure.
Jay and Dee, Freeport in the house. I watch your channel everyday. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Unexso.
Very nice! My fiance and I were in Freeport a month ago. We did the kayak/beach excursion. It was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Gorgeous!
The glass bottom boat was awesome. 😊. Thanks for sharing.
That was a great video. Can’t believe how Freeport has developed the cruise terminal. When I went it was mostly wasteland. Appreciate this one. Thanks for sharing.😎
"Art smells funny." lol! Loved that! I'm looking forward to seeing your next adventure.
I hear Paulie!!❤️ Hubby and I just took Elation back in January for our 2nd anniversary and won $1000 on bingo!!
Awesome video!! I love sitting on the deck listening to the music!! Y’all are living the best life!! ❤️❤️🛳
Love loved seeing the sharks. That would have been so cool. TY
Fun day, thanks! That cracked me up they were tossing fish over when there were lots of shark food sized fish nuggets swimming around the sharks. 🤣
So cool to see the sharks!
Love the elation glad you had a good experience
THANKS for the Elation series. We'll be sailing on her in December. Now we have some insight on the Elation. Thanks again - Carnival Magic for 8 days on Saturday.
Love watching your videos! Thank you for putting together such great content!
We do the Jeep tour EVERY TIME we got to Freeport - some amazing places hidden in Freeport!!!!
Went on that same excursion and enjoyed it very much!
We just returned from a cruise where there was no clothesline in the tub. I didn't know how much I would mis that. I was a nine-day cruise, so I could have used it.
I saw that same elephant sculpture on the Celebrity Apex
After vlogging our first cruise and watching your guys content it's insane how good you guys are, we have a new found respect for y'all. Love watching your stuff! Next time you should cage dive with the shark ;)
Sharks???🦈I love sharks!!❤I cannot wait to swim with sharks!!!🦈
Thanks for the videos a lot of fun
We did this as well as sub on the islands and really enjoyed both.
Hubby and I miss the taste bar. It was our pre dinner appetizer.
They key lime cheesecake stuffed apple must be new. Do you remember how it was ?

60s in the UK is a heat wave for us.
remind folks with memories like a sieve (who - MOI???) - Why the upward gaze shots during some performances? TIA!

Good morning!
Great adventure! I hear often about the seafood shack on Carnival and can't seem to find any content as to how you feel about them. Can you link me to some?
Wow did I see you serving yourselves! Changes???
Carnival has been self-serve since the restart, I believe. :D
I wonder if the books I donated, are still there. I use to cruise with up to 5 hard back books.
How was dinner in the MDR the last night? I don’t think you commented on it. Overall, how was the food and service on the Elation? Thanks for the videos!

$80 a person!? Man, that’s steep for a glass bottom boat ride. Wonder what the cost directly instead of through the ship would be ?
I don’t think you can book Unexso without going through the ship due to contract mess, but I’m sure there are other vendors that run similar tours.
How do they deal with someone getting Covid? Are they quarantined and others notified?
When we experienced it personally, we were quarantined and asked if we had any close contacts that might need to be notified or tested.
🙏🙏🙏Hope she comes to Mobile 🙏🙏🙏
Fun times
Is there a formal nite on the ship?
Yep! Any Carnival cruise up to about five days has one formal night. Over that, usually two.
The "paring down" of the shows leads me to think that some Covid-19 was making its way through the performers.
That seems to be the case. They normally operate with eight performers.
Can you say what brand mask you use?
Dee started with an Aqua Lung set we bought from a random snorkel site online, but now we have a Cressi set in our Amazon shop, as well as a full-face model!! :D #ad www.parodeejay.com/amazon
@@parodeejay thanks. Sorry I should have clarify Covid mask. 😂
Jay: You should joint our Facebook group because sometimes cool things happen….Eh.
Sharks 😱
👍🏻❤️🙏🏻
Probably sound dumb. But where is Freeport ?🤓😜
It’s in the Bahamas, just off the east coast of Florida!! :D
I am going to ask a very personal question. How do you afford to cruise so often? Do the cruise ships pay you or how do you make money doing this
We both have "real" jobs and pay for all our own cruises, but we do earn ad revenue from folks watching the videos as well, yep!! :D
@@parodeejay sounds like a super good time to me keep up the good work I love watching you
Lame, not worth the overpriced excursion.
