It took me a while to figure out how to manage my fine hair. Easily damaged... Hell yeah, lol
But now, it's thriving. I'm totally in love with my hair.

I have fine curly hair 4C and I keep it moisturized and braided, then covered. I stretch the washings, but I never slack on moisturizing with Aunt Jackie's and I use olive oil. I'm very careful about brushing my hair, but when I do I use a boar soft bristle brush. I comb with a wide tooth comb, but I use my fingers over combs for the most part. I detangle my hair before shampooing now always.

that sounds good. Im trying to limit the use of brushes atm also

Yip. I have fine low density and porosity. Most products for curly hair is too heavy. I tend to water down must curly hair products. I also need to clarify more regularly. So I have recently gone back to sulphate shampoo. Usually I dilute or mix it with a cheap conditioner and when I need to clarify I use it neat. I don't deep condition with every wash. I see what my hair feels like after I have shampooed. I very seldom pre-poo. If I do, I would just use an ordinary conditioner, no dc'ing. For me the trick has always been diluting products. We re so often told about using a pea or dime sized amount. But it's virtually impossible to only use that amount. So my rule of thumb is 1tsp product to about 50ml water. Iow 1:10. That seems to work for me when it comes to leave-in and styling products. I shampoo weekly but cowash whenever I feel like it which is at least every 2/3 days. I clarify monthly. We don't have the variety of products you have in the US. And most curly products are aimed at type 4. Most local brands are way too heavy for me but I also cannot afford them.. I have resorted to lots of DIY, quite successfully, I'd say 😅

sounds like you have it figured out! thats good though. I never dilute products as my hair is so thick and likes products that are a little more heavy.

I agree! My hair is super fine! I have 3b,3c low porosity fine hair. It is a nightmare finding hair products. Due to my hair being fine, my hair can't tolerate large protein, which fine hair needs for structure. Luckily, my hair does well with hydrolyzed wheat protein if it's lower in the ingredient list. My hair loves silk amino acids, which is a smaller protein. My hair gets easily weighed down, and I struggle so much with retaining length.

that sounds like a pain. What products work for you at the minute

I am currently using Mielle peony(contains silk amino acids) leave in, Mielle avocado hair milk (contains hydrolyzed wheat protein towards the bottom of the ingredients list) and The Doux mousse (contains silk amino acids).
Understanding ingredients is crucial for fine curly hair.

stop using women with darker skin and curlier, genetically drier hair***, for click bait! speak about your hair and that similar to yours!! It's frustrating to see someone like you speak so negativaly about hair that is our - but that you don't have or have any experience with....... then saying it's the worst hair type… Well you probably just can't really relate but it's just kind of a weird detrimental video and it has weird sayings. Dark skin 4c high Prospersity indivuals, your hair just takes a lot a lot a lot of love but it is beautiful and if you can stick it out and learn to moisturize it, it will grow and be gentle on it and be patient, it will grow.

What are you talking about loool. I have fine hair thats why im speaking about it. Fine hair isn’t exclusive to black women with 4c hair.

...... as you change your videos' thumbnail...
Clearly I did not stutter. I didn't say you said it was. I said you are using a group of women you dont really look like, who do have a bad reputation - because of their fine incredibly curly hair, using unflattering pictures of them & their hair, instead of yourself - which you also do with several of your videos..... I mean it just feels click bait-ish and if no one told you, it's super lame - especially because you seem to share some form of ancestral lineage with said women... I rest.@@kekekurly
