So very fortunate that you were able to take video to share with us!! My favorite cave is Mammoth Cave in Kentucky! I love caves, bats, not so much, and skeeters even less!!!
I've been there several times. The first time around 1974. It only 1 trail at that time. This video shows that it's changed a lot since the last time I was there.
Yes, they mention on the tour the improvements they have made to try to make it more accessible to more people.. it is now wide enough for a wheelchair to even make it, although they did say the inclines still require some strength to do so
This video is so cool!! Haven't been in a cave since early 80's when in my late teen age taking my little 3 yr old, in AZ!! She even remembers it 40+yrs later, all because she hated that we took trash bags and carried out what others left!! ❤ Love ❤️ Love your videos so informative!!! And interesting!! Your brain wrinkles are out of this world ❤❤❤❤
I used to take my kids to the lost sea cave in Athens Tennessee and hour outside of Knoxville where I live. I absolutely loved it and so did the kids. They also loved the hiking in Gatlinburg Tennessee. I miss my kids and all our adventures.
Bunny, i welcome you to the Carlsbad Caverns in Carlsbad NM. I can also recommend the Capitan Mountains in New Mexico. Smokey was found in these mountains in 1950. I was excited to see you when you drifted through Hobbs and Artesia previously. Come on back sometime. Camp at Brantley Lake. I'm currently at the KOA next to the lake. Cozy little place with connections for my camper.
I have never ever been in a cave. I believe i have a fear of bats. Dont know why.. never had an encounter with one. So, I deeply enjoyed this video. Thank you so much 💓
Ok, I will admit...I'm a CAVEAHOLIC! lol I went to one when I was younger and visited Mount Rushmore and I will never forget it, I hope one day to make it to the one down in Tucson and in New Mexico and any others that are like these, I'm not one to go in one that is like not already set up for tours though...too scary!
Question of the day: What is your favorite Cave/Cavern?
Cathedral Caverns Woodville, Alabama
I've never been to a cave. I live vicariously through you. 😊
Blanchard is the best I've been in and I've toured many. Gem of the USA.
