At first I thought this was a tutorial for creating a thumbnail in your Content Library, which I do regularly, but this is actually a quick access launch icon for characters and other 3D assets on the toolbar! THAT is super cool, and would definitely save time setting up a scene with characters and props you use frequently. This is really awesome and useful! Great video! Thanks so much for sharing Jay! .....and now I'm gonna need that Eggo T-shirt you're wearing. I love it! 😃
@@WPguru 😂 I didn't realize that shirt was in Stranger Things. I really enjoyed the first season on the show, but I haven't been able to see the other seasons yet. It reminds me of my childhood. I was pretty much the same age as those children and did a lot of the same things. Don't buy anything for me .....at least not until my birthday. 😆 I hope you have a great rest of your week my friend! 😃
@@MRUStudios No worries, I'll wait until it's your birthday 😄 I think the shirt is more of a reference than a prop from the show, there's this scene when the girl goes out and buys 20 boxes of Eggo waffles because that's the kind of thing kids without adult supervision would do if they're faced with being on their own. I didn't make the connection until a friend of mine pointed it out, and then it clicked for me.
@@WPguru Oh yeah! I do remember that now. It just clicked for me too! 😆 I haven't eaten any Eggos in years, but I do remember eating them as a kid.....at least most of the time the generic knock offs. They were good too! 😃
Thanks for that tip. Do you have any idea how to add the dForce static modifier to a figure automatically? I find that much more time consuming (and easier to forget!)
@@WPguru Well, I almost always use either dForce hair and/or clothing. From my understanding, I need to add the static modifier to the figure so that the hair interacts with the figure and does not fall through the body. May be Daz could add the modifier, once a dForce item is added to the character?
I believe you may have been misinformed, dForce hair and clothing works fine without the need to add a static modifier to the figure, at least in my experience and in most use cases. Try working without one and see how you get on. Alternatively you can create yourself a base figure with modifier, save it out as a Scene Subset and start with that instead of loading the default characters.
06:08 the moment we click accept, icons kind of collapses Customize > Tool Bars > Right Click between icons > Add Viewport Centering Spacer. It adds the space back, sadly no way to specify the space distance with a value :/ Not sure why spacers aren't there by default even though they're visible. And why everything collapses as soon as we customize icons. But at least there's a way to recreate those spaces between groups.
For the beta, all you need is DAZ Studio. Both versions can share the same content. If you you’re the multi instance script, you don’t even have to do that as DAZ Studio is just running twice.
Thank you sir. I am following you from Venezuela. Great job!
Many Thanks my Friend
Very handy to know
A million thanks for the info, and just like Pushakar wrote, you just saved hundreds of clicks, if not thousands. Cheers and have a champion day.
You just saved hundreds of clicks ❤️

When Stranger Things was new, this shirt got so many comments. If I find another one I’ll make sure to buy it for you 🤩

How do you mean automatically? Considering not every object needs one, what would be the auto trigger?

I greetings you sir, I'm new to Daz studio, I'm looking forward to learn how to import 3d files like a jet to your scene
Hello friend, a question, how is it to have the gray screen of dazstudios again? how does it look in your video?
Window - Style - Select Style - Darkside
@@WPguru thanks friend
hello friends, another help can I open dazstudios twice ?
You can indeed: www.versluis.com/2021/02/daz-second-instance/
@@WPguru : friend, the million dollar question hehe should I install everything again ??
there is another easy way hehe

@@WPguru hello Guru a help, could you make a video to help me open dazstudios twice, I don't dare to do it. Please
I've already done it: ruclips.net/video/_dJberkmWlo/видео.html
