Ricochet was definitely a filler novel, I think the purpose it served is showing how Lily is functioning on her own since they are so co-dependent. I think it also shows Lily and Ryke finally bonding, while also seeing Ryke and Daisy interact for the first time
(Thrive) Seeing the relapse scene with how guilty Connor felt was the best part of that book for me because we're not used to seeing Connor vulnerable but you can tell Connor loves him like a brother
(Hothouse Flower) I was very happy that they covered the relapse in Thrive from Lily/Lo's POV YESSS the way Ryke hopped on that plane had me SCREAMING, I loved it. The bromance is TOP NOTCH I was upset at Lo for being a hypocrite about Ryke and Daisy's relationship Lily revealing she was pregnant was such an emotional scene!
You should totally give a chance to " Bad reputation " it's willow & garrison's story . It's a friends to lovers book + long distance relationship dynamic + growth between these characters are fabulous. As you always say you enjoy when friends to lovers book is done right & It's just perfect! You will also get little moments of all the couples of this series. (Side Note : garrison transforms from a guy who tries to destroy their house to someone who becomes ride or die for the family and changes for willow was epic .) Btw , loved your volg ! 💖
(Fuel the Fire) OMG I hated how they tried to take Jane from Rose/Connor, Rose's parents are HORRIBLE and have NO redeeming qualities. You do see Lily stand up to her mom later on in the kids' books That scene with Daisy and the sisters when Daisy revealed her infertility struggles had me bawling like a baby
(Addicted for Now) I loved Lily and Lo's reunion in Addicted for Now! I was so happy to see them back together and seeing the new group dynamic now that he's sober Omg, I can't stand their mother lmao I loved the part where Connor had no clue Rose was a virgin haha Oh I felt so bad when he (Lo) met his mom
(Kiss the Sky) I wasn't a fan of the reality TV show premise but that's only because I HATED SCOTT Yessss for the lap dance scene!! The end scene where Connor shows up to Rose's office professing his love for her!!!! Connor's character development was amazing. That's why I loved his children in the kids' series.
