Butter that hot toast up, then add a lil more than a dust of marmite or vegemite over the top of the butter (highly recommend this if youre trying it for the first time). Try it with melted mozzarella cheese aswell 🥰😍 i didnt like it as a kid, but as a teen i loved it!
It tastes like making a salty spread by mashing bread and salt and cooking it until it becomes really dark. If you like the taste of bread or the smell of raw pizza dough, you will like it. I tried it and in all honesty, its not super good or super bad. If you put more than needed it gets very salty and a bit bitter. I tried marmite on a buttered bagel.

Please get your friends to have you try pods! They come in Mars, Twix and Snickers flavours and they're so good! Also the Arnotts baked Shapes are amazing too!
Finally, someone didn't decide to just have a giant mouthful of veggimight, as an Australian I can say that it goes great on toast and sandwiches, but I don't know a lot of people that just shove a spoon full into their mouth, it's an extremely bitter spread by itself, it needs butter to cut through the bitterness and bring out the flavour

I agree . I notice more foreigners have more encounters with Aussie animals than I’ve seen over here. Born and breed, been here for 44 years. I’ve noticed a lot of RUclipsrs complain about the spiders in Australia, yet they have bears and wild cats and coyotes roaming around the “woods” they all seem to walk in un armed. Not to sure how spiders can be so scary considering!!!
You can also use Vegemite when making: beef burgers, beef pies, beef mince, meatloaf and beef Wellington, glaze and baste on streaks- take 1/2 tsp Vegemite dilute with a cup of boiling water and stir until fully diluted, then use that mixture to baste and glaze your steaks, the flavour is so awesome like you've never tired before when combined with beef.

It really boils down to how much you like salt. It’s about 9% sodium, so it is incredibly salty!
