I’m from NYC..from The Bronx my hood is GunHill Road..all the way back since the late 80’s I was listening to West Coast HipHop and learning aboutBlack and Mexican West Coast Culture.. Nobody in my hood was up on it but all my boys knew if you pulled up to my crib you was gonna hear West Coast music. I have a deep respect for the West.. all these years later I have ALWAYS stayed in tune with the culture and now seeing so many people,but particularly in New York recently opening up to the West is something I’ve been waiting years to see.
