  • Today I am building a type of bushcraft survival shelter also known as a primitive home, clay hut, dug out home, wigwam, hunters den, hobbit house, or bender. I will build this house with local naturally abundant and sustainable materials, such as willow, clay and grass.
In this video I also show you how to find clay and build a clay chimney, cooker (clay stove) and fireplace. Soon this will be a warm and complete long term bushcraft survival HOME.
Primitive survival homes like this can be built for almost free and survive a long time with proper upkeep. Building a house in the forest is such a therapeutic process and returns us to our ancestral roots. Technically food, water, and shelter are free. We must always remember this moving forward and keep this information alive.
Check out some of my other survival shelter builds:
    • (Ep 14) BUSHCRAFT SURV... (2 day bushcraft shelter build)
    • (Ep 13) How To Make A ... (1 day build emergency primitive bushcraft survival shelter)
Whatever you call this bushcraft survival shelter home, whether it’s a mud hut, hobbit home, wigwam, dug out, hunters den, bender, or clay house, in the end it doesn’t matter much, all that matters is that it keeps you safe, warm, and dry.

Hello I have already been subscribed I was wondering if you could put the tools that you used on the description of this video or part 2 thank you
an example, what's the name of that small saw and does that have to be a certain thickness of wire ? I knew what the wire cutters were and the shovel but pretty ignorant about the whole survival thing... thank you.
And what kind of reed was that? does it have to be from a local water source... Is there more thorough description somewhere else?

The folding saw is a pruning saw. And the wire should be 15mm or bigger for the best strength. All the sticks used came from willow. Thanks for your support. Hopefully I can finish this soon and update the next part
