Officially retired from fantasy football but saw this in my sub box and thought I'd stop by. Playing against CMC vs Wash in the championship was so nerve wrecking. Felt like they were at the goal line like 1000 times. He ended up with one of his lowest point totals of the year. Adams disappointed all year but he single handedly won me my title. Fantasy is so fucking random!
Hall, Bijan, Gibbs, Kyren, Achane. Nice content Ron, as always. I'm lukewarm on Kyren but the rest have tremendous appeal. If I can swing it, my ideal draft would have Breece or Bijan falling to closer to the turn (in a 10-man), and then being able to pair one with Gibbs or JT.
The problem with Achane is that we do not have a large sample size. He missed many games last season due to injury. His upside is good for Bestball, but a little risk for redraft where you have to submit your lineup every week.
I kind of disagree with this. The benefit you get out of Achane is that he is elite when he plays. Let's say he only gives you 12 starts. Assuming he completes most of these 12 games, you'd expect him to score 18+ PPG. The weeks he's injured, you would know not to start him and could likely start a waiver wire RB that gets you around 10 PPG in the other 5 games. That would give you a season long avg of about 16 PPG for that RB spot. That would serve to match or even exceed most of the running backs being drafted nearby (who you are also assuming would play a full season).
@@garrettschaaf4067 he wont have so many weighted opportunities, when the Dolphins are forced to pass a lot. His data from 2023 is also screwed up due to the 70 points Game against the Broncos.

Just drafted 2 teams on ESPN, yes, I know it's early, but I got Williams in the 2nd and Achane in the 3rd. In the other, I went double RB and Robinson and Gibbs, 1st and 2nd. I am stoked after seeing this.
I love the Achane content. However don't fade Mostert. He is a team Captain and will be handed his share. IMO Great numbers for both. If I take Achane early I am taking Mostert late and maybe Wright later if he falls.

Love the Kyren target. I’ve been so surprised how far he’s dropped in underdog specifically. The injury concern is the only reason I can get behind if someone wants to fade him. Assuming he’s healthy, he’s going to prove everybody wrong, yet again. Plus McVay loves his RB’s. Rams offense only getting better. Even if volume drops, I have a feeling he’ll get every single red zone touch. Also, there was one game where Stafford legit missed every single target to Kyren, the one where he had 7 I believe. I like to think of Kyren as a younger, slightly smaller Ekeler that catches less, but definitely something I can see more of this year. Great vid
For one they traded up to get a RB in the 3rd. That’s somewhat of a concern. That Blake corum is good and will carve out a role by the time fantasy playoffs come. Also kyren is slow
I'm considering him at 18, I don't usually go for players as risky as him this really. I'm at the 7 spot in the first round, I don't like the 7 pick honestly. But I could start Jefferson or Chase or Amon-Ra, and then add Achane at 18, next pick is the early 30's and aiming for drake London. London to me is discount Garrett Wilson, and that's coming from a jets fan.
Drafted today. Took Achane at #19 today. Felt a little high the more I thought about it but I didn’t LOVE anyone else. Always been a fan of higher ceiling and why I went with him.
Thanks for the awesome video Ron. I'm heading into year 5 of my fantasy league with all my college buddies. We are adding two more guys, making it a 14 team league now. Just figured out draft lottery yesterday and I have the 14th pick. Would it be smart to target Gibbs at that 14/15 turn?
Love Kyren Williams, rode him and B Hall to win my home league last year. Kyren is my 4th ranked RB this year so take my final comment in the right context (i.e. big believer in him). Kyren's receiving work is capped because he is excellent in pass protection.

Aaron Rodgers attempts more 1st down passes inside the 5 yd line than any Qb I've ever seen. If he stays healthy all year, Hall will have fewer rushing TDs, than he would've otherwise had.
Great video. I like the logic. My only criticism, Josh Jacobs is 26…. He’s 5 years younger than Henry. Why are we grouping them together as “older” RBs. I’m not saying Josh jacobs will be RB1 but of the 5 guys mentioned, 3 of them are the top 3 RBs and 4 of the top 6 in every draft. Jacobs ADP is round 4, to me that’s incredible value. @@qazzaqstanTotally agree. I got him at good value in the 5th and Pacheco was off the board. It was either him or James Cook and I think either one is about even, but I personally rank White more. @@frostywizard2257 I have Cook above White (though looking at the auction cheat sheet I made apparently only by $1), but can't hate him in the 5th unless it is on UD where WRs are crazy and everyone pushes down RBs
I agree with all except really nervous about Gibbs. I think weighted 15.6 apps per game is his ceiling. They won't take away from Montgomery as long as he keeps producing either. He is going on the turn in regular leauges. Not worth the price.
I'm so torn. Would you keep Breece Hall with your 3rd round pick or Kyren Williams with 16th pick. Am I crazy for leaning Breece? I'm drafting 5th in a 10-man league.
I don’t think Achane will make it to round 3 in my home league. Someone is going to get anxious and grab him and I’m strongly considering it at 18 if Kyren is gone…
Only RBS I would unhesitatingly take over Achane are CMC, Hall, Bijan, Gibbs. I would take JT or Kyren over him and feel bad about it. Ain’t no way I’m taking any other RB over him, Saquon included.
Last year in 1 of my leagues I took your legendary RB video advice and drafted bijan, pollard and breece. I barely made the playoffs and got bounced rd 1 😂
@@arturomunoz3able same bro! I definitely could have picked one of those guys up but I decided to hold my drafted team instead of dropping someone. Passed up Puka too 🤦🏽♂️
Sounds like coach speak. Are the Falcons supposed to say, naw Allgeier isnt good enough to take snaps compared to Bijan? Coaches are just trained to always say positive things about their players no matter what. Next week he'll say Bijan is ultra talented and they want to find ways to get him the ball as much as possible.
With all this said.....12 team PPR. Do i keep Achane and London or trade them both for Aiyuk and keep Gibbs and Aiyuk, then Achane and London will be back in the draft pool. I'm leaning Achane and London then trying to get Gibbs back in the draft...its auction.
Hey Ron, just wanna say sick video as per usual. Sucks to have to watch these and not give a thumbs up, gotta keep you from my league mates tho - sorry dawg.
I'm sorry but I can't believe the Achane hype. He's good and I paid up for him last year, but hes still going in the 2nd on my league and Mostert is going in the 7th. If this turns into a hyper efficient RBBC like I think, I'm taking the bigger RB who was shown to really push for TDs AND is going much much later.
Taylor missed time and was eased into offense after he came back. Which messes with the touches per game and the colts were one dropped pass away from making the playoffs with minshew AR is projected to be better I think we have to take that into consideration
So I should fade CMC 1 overall and take Breece or Bijan. Don’t wanna overthink the first overall but CMC is getting older and certainly an injury risk.
Yeah every RB is an injury risk. Maybe Bijan is the safest between age and injury history but we also are only projecting his elite season, haven’t seen it. CMC is on the team with the highest projected points. I wouldn’t imagine a repeat of last years workload but he doesn’t need to crush the field like he did last year to be worthy of the first pick. For me it’s CMC or Lamb in full ppr, depending on how you like to build
Its difficult for me to pick Achane over Etienne at the 2 3 turn when I know Ettienne is the bell cow of that offense and Achane is smaller and won't get as many opportunities. Convince me why i should take Achane over Ettienne there?

I agree with all except really nervous about Gibbs. I think weighted 15.6 apps per game is his ceiling. They won't take away from Montgomery as long as he keeps producing either. He is going on the turn in regular leauges. Not worth the price.
OM RON
I'm so torn. Would you keep Breece Hall with your 3rd round pick or Kyren Williams with 16th pick. Am I crazy for leaning Breece? I'm drafting 5th in a 10-man league.
😂
I don’t think Achane will make it to round 3 in my home league. Someone is going to get anxious and grab him and I’m strongly considering it at 18 if Kyren is gone…
Only RBS I would unhesitatingly take over Achane are CMC, Hall, Bijan, Gibbs. I would take JT or Kyren over him and feel bad about it. Ain’t no way I’m taking any other RB over him, Saquon included.
How did kyren not hit the usage per game criteria? Is it a projection for 2024 or something?
Would you draft Devon achane next to cmc in half ppr two extra flex ?? Please help love your videos
Lets say CMC goes 1 and Hill/Lamb at 2. Would you go Breece at 3?
Fresh cut 💯
Hell yes
Last year in 1 of my leagues I took your legendary RB video advice and drafted bijan, pollard and breece. I barely made the playoffs and got bounced rd 1 😂
😂 Same. Went all in on Breece and Bijan 🙃
@@davidgutierrezjr5653 so frustrating watching guys grab kyren and achane off waivers because I certain eventually 1 of these guys would go off
@@arturomunoz3able same bro! I definitely could have picked one of those guys up but I decided to hold my drafted team instead of dropping someone. Passed up Puka too 🤦🏽♂️
@@davidgutierrezjr5653 fucking brutal lol
Bijan will disappoint again
Straight 🔥
Only took 6 months for any of the gurus of fantasy football to acknowledge old backs dont make good new bedfellows.
What about Falcons saying Tyler Allgeier will have a big role and be leaned on at certain points? Does that affect Bijan for you?
Sounds like coach speak. Are the Falcons supposed to say, naw Allgeier isnt good enough to take snaps compared to Bijan? Coaches are just trained to always say positive things about their players no matter what. Next week he'll say Bijan is ultra talented and they want to find ways to get him the ball as much as possible.
Just got devon and bijan
Teams just aren’t feeding one RB like they used to. RBBC’s are the new thing and that’s what makes them not worth it in the first round.
I think this was kyren Williams 2nd year.. he was hurt his rookie year and didn't really play
I took Achane at the 2/3 turn, paired him with Mostert
Is there a reason not to take CMC in the 1 spot. Is it just a given at this point to take him if he’s there?
No, def take CMC, hes in another tier above these guys.
I’m wondering the same thing I highly doubt he’s the rb 1 in back to back seasons but he’s def the safest option
and likely a better offense with more scoring opportunities.
Was waiting for this one!!!
Its difficult for me to pick Achane over Etienne at the 2 3 turn when I know Ettienne is the bell cow of that offense and Achane is smaller and won't get as many opportunities. Convince me why i should take Achane over Ettienne there?
Efficiency and on a much better offense. It takes Jacksonville 2+ games to score 70 points.
I don’t trust achane to durable at all
SEÑOR AUGUSTO
My only knock on him and every Miami player is they play the 49ers and Browns in the playoffs
