Thank you for sharing this tutorial! I was able to make a skirt for my daughter in about an hour with a pair of jeans that she had gotten too tall for but the waist still fit her really well. She loves it and I was so happy with the results. Great tutorial and really easy to follow!

Great way to recycle old jeans. I remember back in the 70s when girls were doing this. You worked it out. Nice.
Very cool now I can make all my pants I was actually going to throw away into skirts, I'm pentecostal and sometimes it's hard to find nice skirts at the store but now I know and starting tomorrow I will make them thank you for your tutorial
How did the skirts turn out? Thinking about doing this myself just not very artistic when it comes to sewing :)

Hi their....I am using Janome model DXL603, but prefer I basic one because a computerised machine wont sew thick layers of denim. I had difficulty with this one. hope this helps..thanks

How do you narrow the skirt? You mentioned there was a better way to do it but never explained.

very nice tutorial, I gave it a "like" but when you make tutorial, you should do it without the background music because it's harder to hear you. I understand you like to work with music, but in tutorial it's all different.

I wear the corduroy navy one I made when I watched this before all the time! I had to look and look to find it again. I’m going to make a maxi length one from two pairs I bought at the same time when I was between sizes. This is the best one on RUclips I wonder why they make this one so hard to find!
Nice skirt but it would have been easier to cut the pants and keep the stitching in place and would not have to restitch the seam twice!

hii izzy.... iam absolutely a beginner.... i just wanted to recycle my hubbys jeans... i was thimking abt jeans bag... but when i saw ur skirt... it was abolutely outstanding... so i tried... and it is comming very neat.... the only problem is it is size 34... and iam way too big for it... so can u suggest me some site of ur own or any ... to put it on sale..
