Me too. Although, I've used to hate these whenever I'm exploring caves but when there's a new evolution named Crobat. There's no reason of not catching them and using in major battles plus it knows Acrobatics where its monstrous speed plus high attack making my ace during my B2/W2 playthrough.
The things that will stop a pokemon master, not those 8 gym leaders, not the 5 elite fours, not the evil teams that seek to do whatever evil stuff. But the Zubats with supersonic, the Geodudes which knows explode, the Magnemite that uses Thunderwave, and those Tentcool with endless Poison Needle.
They were in fact great game, most people complained about many of their Pokemon designs which were based in stuff like an Ice cream that you can simply eat or let it melt and a garbage bag which you could basically open or destroy with your feets (thinking Realistically). But they were many cool Pokemon as well in my opinion like Zorua, which has nothing to envy of other generations designs. But you know the negative stuff always make more noise than the positive stuff.
As someone who trained one to level 56 when I was younger thinking that it would eventually evolve, I wholeheartedly agree with this rant. I never got a Vespiqueen because I was just disgusted with Combee after that
I agree. In pokemon go I was trying to get a Vespiquen for my pokedex it was just freaking murder. Every Combee I caught was male and after a while I had enough candy to evolve it multiple times. Then, after months of waiting, a female Combee popped up and I could evolve it. So yeah, rant completely deserved.

IMO, they need to give Regigigas his own item a la Illustrious and Adamant Orb which just negates Slow Start while in use, maybe change it into losing some HP after every damaging attack.
I’ve actually made a strategy for making Regigigas not useless in battle but it has to be a double battle- Use Regigigas and a Lopunny that can mega evolve, mega the Lopunny first turn and then use Entrainment on Regigigas. It will most likely our speed your opponents. This will eliminate Slow Start, bringing it’s stats up and giving it Scrappy, which is a fantastic ability for Regigigas. You can plow through double battles with this strategy

Adam Scott I was thinking that myself. Not every Pokemon has to be super strong, plus it makes sense for female to be so damn rare. Look at real bees, you get 1 queen for every hive filled with hundreds of other bees. I can agree that stat wise it ain’t great but I can think of a lot less interesting Pokemon.

I will never forget my disappointment after catching all of the Unknown! I never hated Zubat as a kid...It was the Geodudes! Always knocking out my fire pokemon!
While I do think that Zubat is the sole reason repels were invented, I think you're giving it a bit more hate than it deserves. Crobat is simply AWESOME, in both its design and its surprising competitive ability (especially in older generations). I used one for the entirety of my recent playthrough of Platinum, and it helped see me through to the end.

Regigigas is one of my long time favorite Pokémon, so seeing getting hated on makes me sad. Although slow start is absolute garvage, if it could learn bulk up, it would use that move for the first 5 turns, improving both its best stats. This would make it hit like a freight train, and start like one to.
Rigigigas is legendery pokemon and his stats is the same of weather trio and its create to be overpower and it must get any normal abllity not SLOW START
You save before checking the tree. It will always be a combee but every time u restart it changes gender and/or level. Just restart 5-6x and u have a female in 5min.
This is how Regigigas, a supposedly legendary beast, should become. 1) Keep slow start; hear me out! He is still suppose to be a protected legendary by the Regis, so slowing him down makes sense lore wise. And giving him an ability that’s actually good would make him OP. 2) Make Slow Start last 3 turns, not 5 3) For every other Regi you have (Regirock, Registeel, or Regice) in your party, one turn of slow start is reduced. One other Regi reduces to 2 turns, Two reduce to 1 turn, and all 3 takes away his slow start! But if you run all Regis that takes up 4 party slots for a team. You could run 3 (including regigigas) and give regigigas protect, but that’ll be obvious and you could get set up on. Honestly regigigas still wouldn’t be OP, because at best he has no ability at all. He either would need a stat buff, or chill at tiers with the other Regis. Again a 4 Regi team would be predictable, same as 3
I'd rather trade slow start for something better even if it's still negative, I don't know why regigigas shouldn't be uber tier even if a still bad ability keeps it low uber, but I must admit your idea is pretty creative
Leaf well not only does it actually buff him, but it also involves the other Regis. Plus you can Strategize with it then. Two other Regis plus protect, opponent predicts the protect to stall the one turn? You hit them with a power-up-punch or something, and you get damage plus a boost. It would become pretty strategic
5. I don’t mind Male Combee. I don’t like it, I just don’t mind it. 4. I actually like Regigigas the most of the Regi’s. I wouldn’t USE it, but design wise and lore wise, it’s actually a really cool Pokémon 3. While Garbodor is definitely not a good Pokémon, it’s not nearly as bad as people say it is. Honestly, it’s better than Muk imo. 2. I used to love Unown for how interesting they were, but... yeah, they’re garbage. 1. Maybe it’s only because I started with Platinum, but I never really got annoyed by Zubats that much. If anything, I felt that Geodudes were more repetitive. But yeah, that cry is super annoying, as well as it’s move set.
Unown is sure an interesting Pokémon designwise, but is barely versatile in battle: it has a base stat total of 336 (its strongest stats being Atk and Sp.Atk at 72), and only one move being Hidden Power (which is a Special move), meaning its Physical Attack goes almost completely to waste.
The only pokemon I hate are the ones you can't get unless you were playing a specific game during a specific time so you could access a specific event, so most mythical lol
Zubat alone is here because of how frequently you encounter it in caves in every game. It gets annoying really fast, especially when you don’t have money to get repels

And every time I used a Yellow Flute to snap my Pokemon out of Confusion, they'd just use Confuse Ray again, and again, and again! Plus, every time My Pokemon were confused in gen 3, they always hurt themselves in confusion. Yet whenever my opponent was confused, they almost NEVER hurt themselves in Confusion! It wasn't until Gen 5 and 6 onward that Gamefreak fixed this, so they wouldn't spam confusion as often, and made it so my pokemon were less likely to hurt themselves. Thank you Gamefreak!
Vanilluxe and garbador get so much hate, but a pokemon that deserves more hate than it does (as it lives in the shadow of these 2) is the klink line. They look lifeless, don’t even have a face, and are literal gears. Klang is literally a klink plus another large gear, and klingklang is the 2 together. The names are even the pre evolutions together. It seems so stupid, at least vanilluxe and garbodor look like a cartoony fun pokemon version. But the klinklang line is lifeless, lazy, and stupid! Somehow they get away with it
In my case, I don't actually hate Vanilluxe or Garbodor (the former being a pretty decent Pokémon in battle), but I really don't like Pokémon designs such as Bastiodon's, it is quite ugly-looking IMO.
Vanilluxe is BY FAR the worst pokemon in the entire game. Nothing even comes close. Pokemon (pocket monsters), built itself on the premise that all the pokemon are either monsters or animals, and Vanilluxe instead decided to be a joke. Klink is clearly a monster. Similar to Magnemite it embraces the simplicity of being sentient steel. It's not a fantastic design by any means, but I can roll with it just like how I can roll with muk being a sentient glob of sludge, or golem being a giant sentient ball of rocks. These are very natural, and potentially anthropomorphic concepts for a monster. Conversely, the idea of a living ice cream cone is nothing more than a joke. It's entirely out of place in the series in the most uncreative way possible. I have to imagine that the nutter who designed it said something like "yeah kids love ice cream, lets turn it into a pokemon". I honestly hate it. Runner up goes to Gothitelle. This would be a great chance for me to make a joke that goths are animals or monsters, but in all seriousness its just a joke pokemon like Vanilluxe that doesn't fit in at all.
I think they could improve people’s opinion of them by making it possible to combine them all into one Pokémon. Once you have one of each type and all of them are over lvl30, perhaps you could stick them onto a wall somewhere and they turn into a new legendary called Alfabetix. I also think it should be possible to fuse a Plusle and Minun together in the same way to get a conjoined electric dipole Pokémon.
Yeah I love unown too. They play a part in the arceus event in hg/ss which was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced in any Pokémon game I’ve played.
Nompom I fucking hated the Jinx in FireRed and LeafGreen. Attract and Lovely Kiss. Almost broke my Gameboy advance back in the day because the Jinx would either put all my team to sleep or make them confused to only freeze them with ice punch. Again Fuck Jinx 💯🖕🏻
living toxic waste has been implemented as an idea before pokemon;therefore, having Muk as one of these concepts is actually pretty appealing. A living toxic waste and, as far as I am concerned, no one disliked Muk;however, Garbodor is an entire different story and while I do not dislike any pokemon I must say Garbodor's design is pretty bad and just looking at it, you don't know if feel pity for the poor thing or just straight hate it for being literally a living pile of garbage....
Just to set the record straight- I actually really like Muk. Its Alolan form is great, and it's fun to use in battle. Its design is just a bit too simplistic for my tastes and doesn't deviate enough from that of Grimer.

Here's a story about my first Garbodor encounter. I was playing Pokemon Y and was trying to complete my Pokedex so I went to Pokemon Village (that's a lie, I went there to catch Mewtwo but I killed it so I started catching other Pokemon there). I was walking around near the trash cans when one of 'em moved. I really like Banette (because it's cute yet "edgy") and I encountered one in a trash can before so I had my hopes up for one (I accidentally killed the one I encountered because I was busy on my phone and just mashed the A button, I only realized my mistake when I saw the text say "The wild Banette fainted." This happened with a Mawhile before.) When I clicked on the trash can, I was met by a Garbodor. And I was taken a back because I didn't know this thing existed because seriously, a garbage Pokemon? I thought it was a weird Pokemon but seemed like one I would try using once in a while (just to test drive it) so I tried catching it. I spent about three Ultra Balls on it. Don't know if it was worth it or not because I haven't tried the Pokemon out yet, probably will never.
Its funny, when gen 4 was announced, me and my buddy Orlando found this guy and we used to make fun of Regigas. We called him re ge ge ge ge ge... gas. We were dumbasses but we were only like what, 12? It was fun times. I later moved and lost contact with him. I miss him to this day.
5-Agree 4- Strongly disagree, Regigigas is one of my top 10 Pokémon as it was my first ever card and I love the design 3- Disagree, not a favourite but not at all the worst (Muk is more disgusting and has a more lazy design) 2-Agree 1- Hate Zubat but makes up for it with Crobat
trt 001 You can’t call Muk lazy xD it was part of the original 151. Game freak couldn’t have been lazy because there is nothing to compare Muk’s design to. It only appears that way because we’re 7 generations deep and there is now 800-something Pokemon so of course they have to mix it up. Pokemon red and blue barely made it onto the market back in 1996 so don’t be hating on a design that is probably older that more than half of the people watching this video

Like the above said, there are not many comparison of pokemon in Gen 1, so they are just created it really plain and simple. Even I'm sure that the creator never imagine that there would be more than 800 pokemons and 7 Generations like now. It's not fair if you compared pokemon from Gen 1 with the newer Gen by just looking at the design.
Regigigas may be trash in combat but is loved by lots of people including me and friends of mine, it doesn't matter if he's trash, he's a legendary and that makes it.

It’s duds were so numerous, and reached such a whole new level of poor design. Even the best Pokémon of the gen, like haxorus, hydriegon, and excadrill, weren’t particularly interesting to me. Hydroegon completely pales in comparison to garchomp for example , again, in my opinion As a whole, gen five left quite a sour aftertaste in my mouth. The Pokémon were unappealing to me But to be fair, just the mere thought of reusing TMs makes me drool a little. So while it’s my least favorite , I can’t give gen 5 TOO much flak

There can be various reasons to dislike a pokemon. I think "I hate encountering this thing!" and "I hate this thing's design!" and "I hate this thing because everyone else inexplicably loves it!" could all merit their own distinct lists. Golbat sucks to encounter, but it certainly doesn't suck when it's on your side. =)
People hate garbador because they can't accept the fact that garbador comes from pollution that was cause by us. It also shows that garbador did come from us. A human trash evolve to a pokemon
I think you should be able to catch Arceus by a one-time extremely hard battle by catching every Unown, since you can’t capture Arceus without hacking in DPP(plus you can capture Deoxys in ORAS so capturing mythicals without an event but in a really hard way is more open now)

People just judge Pokemon based on whether it is op or not. If it isn't op it's hated. I don't do that. I like using underestimated Pokemon. I currently have a Fearow, Vanilluxe, and Vileplume on my team and they are good
I like Combee and Zubat (not the random infinite encounters, sure, but thats not his fault) quite a lot. Garbodor and Unknow are... meh, whatever. Regigigas is garbage, that one I agree with, but at least his shiny is pretty cool.

While I do think that Zubat is the sole reason repels were invented, I think you're giving it a bit more hate than it deserves. Crobat is simply AWESOME, in both its design and its surprising competitive ability (especially in older generations). I used one for the entirety of my recent playthrough of Platinum, and it helped see me through to the end.
Crobat was Game Freak's apology to gen 1 fans for the excessive Zubat appearances.
I managed to get 2 shiny zubats in my recent run through of platinum. Evolved one to crobat and it's a beast

You can use Kekleon and use skill swap with Regigigas to already ignore Slow Start in the first turn

Regigigas is one of my long time favorite Pokémon, so seeing getting hated on makes me sad. Although slow start is absolute garvage, if it could learn bulk up, it would use that move for the first 5 turns, improving both its best stats. This would make it hit like a freight train, and start like one to.

This is how Regigigas, a supposedly legendary beast, should become.
1) Keep slow start; hear me out! He is still suppose to be a protected legendary by the Regis, so slowing him down makes sense lore wise. And giving him an ability that’s actually good would make him OP.
2) Make Slow Start last 3 turns, not 5
3) For every other Regi you have (Regirock, Registeel, or Regice) in your party, one turn of slow start is reduced. One other Regi reduces to 2 turns, Two reduce to 1 turn, and all 3 takes away his slow start! But if you run all Regis that takes up 4 party slots for a team. You could run 3 (including regigigas) and give regigigas protect, but that’ll be obvious and you could get set up on. Honestly regigigas still wouldn’t be OP, because at best he has no ability at all. He either would need a stat buff, or chill at tiers with the other Regis. Again a 4 Regi team would be predictable, same as 3
or just make slow start only reduce speed, so regigigas can still throw out devestating attacks
I'd rather trade slow start for something better even if it's still negative, I don't know why regigigas shouldn't be uber tier even if a still bad ability keeps it low uber, but I must admit your idea is pretty creative
Leaf well not only does it actually buff him, but it also involves the other Regis. Plus you can Strategize with it then. Two other Regis plus protect, opponent predicts the protect to stall the one turn? You hit them with a power-up-punch or something, and you get damage plus a boost. It would become pretty strategic

Unown is sure an interesting Pokémon designwise, but is barely versatile in battle: it has a base stat total of 336 (its strongest stats being Atk and Sp.Atk at 72), and only one move being Hidden Power (which is a Special move), meaning its Physical Attack goes almost completely to waste.

And every time I used a Yellow Flute to snap my Pokemon out of Confusion, they'd just use Confuse Ray again, and again, and again! Plus, every time My Pokemon were confused in gen 3, they always hurt themselves in confusion. Yet whenever my opponent was confused, they almost NEVER hurt themselves in Confusion! It wasn't until Gen 5 and 6 onward that Gamefreak fixed this, so they wouldn't spam confusion as often, and made it so my pokemon were less likely to hurt themselves. Thank you Gamefreak!

Vanilluxe and garbador get so much hate, but a pokemon that deserves more hate than it does (as it lives in the shadow of these 2) is the klink line. They look lifeless, don’t even have a face, and are literal gears. Klang is literally a klink plus another large gear, and klingklang is the 2 together. The names are even the pre evolutions together. It seems so stupid, at least vanilluxe and garbodor look like a cartoony fun pokemon version. But the klinklang line is lifeless, lazy, and stupid! Somehow they get away with it
In my case, I don't actually hate Vanilluxe or Garbodor (the former being a pretty decent Pokémon in battle), but I really don't like Pokémon designs such as Bastiodon's, it is quite ugly-looking IMO.
Vanilluxe is BY FAR the worst pokemon in the entire game. Nothing even comes close. Pokemon (pocket monsters), built itself on the premise that all the pokemon are either monsters or animals, and Vanilluxe instead decided to be a joke. Klink is clearly a monster. Similar to Magnemite it embraces the simplicity of being sentient steel. It's not a fantastic design by any means, but I can roll with it just like how I can roll with muk being a sentient glob of sludge, or golem being a giant sentient ball of rocks. These are very natural, and potentially anthropomorphic concepts for a monster. Conversely, the idea of a living ice cream cone is nothing more than a joke. It's entirely out of place in the series in the most uncreative way possible. I have to imagine that the nutter who designed it said something like "yeah kids love ice cream, lets turn it into a pokemon". I honestly hate it. Runner up goes to Gothitelle. This would be a great chance for me to make a joke that goths are animals or monsters, but in all seriousness its just a joke pokemon like Vanilluxe that doesn't fit in at all.

I think they could improve people’s opinion of them by making it possible to combine them all into one Pokémon. Once you have one of each type and all of them are over lvl30, perhaps you could stick them onto a wall somewhere and they turn into a new legendary called Alfabetix.
I also think it should be possible to fuse a Plusle and Minun together in the same way to get a conjoined electric dipole Pokémon.
Yeah I love unown too. They play a part in the arceus event in hg/ss which was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced in any Pokémon game I’ve played.

living toxic waste has been implemented as an idea before pokemon;therefore, having Muk as one of these concepts is actually pretty appealing. A living toxic waste and, as far as I am concerned, no one disliked Muk;however, Garbodor is an entire different story and while I do not dislike any pokemon I must say Garbodor's design is pretty bad and just looking at it, you don't know if feel pity for the poor thing or just straight hate it for being literally a living pile of garbage....
Just to set the record straight- I actually really like Muk. Its Alolan form is great, and it's fun to use in battle. Its design is just a bit too simplistic for my tastes and doesn't deviate enough from that of Grimer.

Here's a story about my first Garbodor encounter.
I was playing Pokemon Y and was trying to complete my Pokedex so I went to Pokemon Village (that's a lie, I went there to catch Mewtwo but I killed it so I started catching other Pokemon there). I was walking around near the trash cans when one of 'em moved. I really like Banette (because it's cute yet "edgy") and I encountered one in a trash can before so I had my hopes up for one (I accidentally killed the one I encountered because I was busy on my phone and just mashed the A button, I only realized my mistake when I saw the text say "The wild Banette fainted." This happened with a Mawhile before.)
When I clicked on the trash can, I was met by a Garbodor. And I was taken a back because I didn't know this thing existed because seriously, a garbage Pokemon? I thought it was a weird Pokemon but seemed like one I would try using once in a while (just to test drive it) so I tried catching it. I spent about three Ultra Balls on it. Don't know if it was worth it or not because I haven't tried the Pokemon out yet, probably will never.
Its funny, when gen 4 was announced, me and my buddy Orlando found this guy and we used to make fun of Regigas. We called him re ge ge ge ge ge... gas. We were dumbasses but we were only like what, 12? It was fun times. I later moved and lost contact with him. I miss him to this day.

trt 001 You can’t call Muk lazy xD it was part of the original 151. Game freak couldn’t have been lazy because there is nothing to compare Muk’s design to. It only appears that way because we’re 7 generations deep and there is now 800-something Pokemon so of course they have to mix it up. Pokemon red and blue barely made it onto the market back in 1996 so don’t be hating on a design that is probably older that more than half of the people watching this video

Like the above said, there are not many comparison of pokemon in Gen 1, so they are just created it really plain and simple. Even I'm sure that the creator never imagine that there would be more than 800 pokemons and 7 Generations like now. It's not fair if you compared pokemon from Gen 1 with the newer Gen by just looking at the design.

Gen five, for me, was a hit and miss
While I feel ALL the games were good, I feel it was the worst. Now that’s not to say it doesn’t have redeeming qualities or even that it was bad. Storywise, it was one of the best gens
And FINALLY they made TMs reusable, that alone makes gen 5 a good gen
Also the team plasma grunt battle them is one of the best tracks in the WHOLE FRANCHISE
But out of all gens, I feel that gen 5 has the worst Pokémon designs. It’s duds were so numerous, and reached such a whole new level of poor design. Even the best Pokémon of the gen, like haxorus, hydriegon, and excadrill, weren’t particularly interesting to me.
Hydroegon completely pales in comparison to garchomp for example , again, in my opinion

It had by far, some of the best if not THE best Pokémon designs in the franchise
And this game by FAR had what is, in my opinion, the best rival and champion in Blue
However, from a competitive standpoint, this game is among the worst for obvious reasons
And a very barebones story drags it down to this spot

There can be various reasons to dislike a pokemon. I think "I hate encountering this thing!" and "I hate this thing's design!" and "I hate this thing because everyone else inexplicably loves it!" could all merit their own distinct lists.
Golbat sucks to encounter, but it certainly doesn't suck when it's on your side. =)

Just because a Pokémon has cool origins, does mean it’s good.
zubat is not the most encountered pkmn tentacool is more easily encountered and i dont have any problem with garbodor and zubat

I think you should be able to catch Arceus by a one-time extremely hard battle by catching every Unown, since you can’t capture Arceus without hacking in DPP(plus you can capture Deoxys in ORAS so capturing mythicals without an event but in a really hard way is more open now)

People just judge Pokemon based on whether it is op or not. If it isn't op it's hated. I don't do that. I like using underestimated Pokemon. I currently have a Fearow, Vanilluxe, and Vileplume on my team and they are good
I like Combee and Zubat (not the random infinite encounters, sure, but thats not his fault) quite a lot. Garbodor and Unknow are... meh, whatever. Regigigas is garbage, that one I agree with, but at least his shiny is pretty cool.
