We love you SP. Thanks for representing so many women and their insecurities and not a reflection of supposedly perfect influencer culture. You are what we need ❤
ah that’s lovely, don’t know about that but I’m just sharing the honesty as I go along. Really am struggling with it all at the moment but it’ll pass for sure
I donated all of my denim (14 pairs!). Bought myself 2 pairs of levis, one blue, one black and splurged on an expensive denim shirt and pair of baggy shorts that I live in. So happy with my quality purchases...less but great quality is my new mantra. Almost the exact same breakfast as I'm watching your vlog ❤
Sasha , this made me cry , I see so much of my younger self in you, I am you , I have bought clothes I want to wear , but they’re just not right. I’ve established I don’t have a style and I’m good with that! I’m on a journey too ( I’m the voice noter) and I know whatever you decide to do it will be because it’s right for you. Get these clothes on vinted keep what can serve you , and take it from there once you’re in a better place with yourself ❤ always here for you girl xxx
Oh Sasha, your wardrobe of clothes that when pulled out you said “I never wear that, I put it on and feel wrong so take it off” is ALL of us at some point xx. I went through all my clothes a couple of years ago now, and got rid of everything that made me feel that way (thank Fuck for Vinted 😂) it was so freeing!! and now I try hard to only buy stuff I know will work. I can totally see you in a jeans, top and blazer outfit - chic - with your short hair- very Parisian.
Been thinking about this video all day because when my body changed I felt similar things. I think what was holding me back and I just want to share in case it helps… I was trying to fit the clothes rather than the clothes fit me. I love crops and high waisted jeans … it started working for me when I bought the right size jeans (not the size I wanted it to be but the size that made me look and feel the best) Like I wish I was a 14/16 but now I buy 20’s always because the fit works better for me and gives me the room for it to fall how I wish it did. Hope that made sense 😅 Love the vlogs as always!
You are the best and we all love you for your honestly and realness. Thank you for being who you are also I need all those things you were talking about. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to see your next vlog.
I felt exactly the same as you about my belly when I was in my 20s- I absolutely hated it. I wouldn't wear fitted clothes, had to wear something baggy over my jeans because I hated seeing my stomach from the side. In the end I got so fed up of hating my body that I lost the belly - I decided I'd had ENOUGH of feeling fat and ugly and lost the weight with calorie counting. I'm a size 6-8 now and I look and feel better than ever. Honestly, some people go their entire lives trying to convince themselves they're happy being overweight - I couldn't be one of them. Maybe you're not either - that's okay too. Just thought I'd add a different perspective instead of the 'love your body regardless' sentiment that seems to be the only one allowed these days. It's okay to not want to be fat - it just helps to be honest with yourself and give yourself the tools to either accept your body or change it. All the best xx
Sacha you’re so cute! I’m only just getting into the going through your clothes part and you’re being so brave!!! I feel like you need a good cry, but guessing this may come when I keep watching haha I relate to how you feel about yourself and clothes and body so much. I just want to hug you and tell you how gorgeous you are!!!!! Ok I’ll keep watching now ❤
You’re gorgeous Sasha. Also, please PLEASE PLEASE try Chapter Organics. Their essential oils are so incredible and you will LOVE them for your new diffusers. Pure blends, hand made. Absolutely sensational.
Love your content Sasha. Always down to talk/listen to body image stuff. Made some Beanz with sausage, with sliced avo and sprinkled with red onion for brekkie. You've got me obsessed with watties beans and red onion 😅
As always, Sunday mornings with you are the best! Coffee, pb toast and Sasha gets me out of bed bright and early. (US girly). Could you link the diffuser, please. Gonna try and find it her in the US.
Haven’t worn them in a while….beware. My sister and I did this using the “when was the last time you wore this?” method. Come cold weather….no sweaters.
You’re doing great Sasha… I know how you’re feeling but it’s a mindset shift, that’s all. Let me and Sal get at you!❤ And please, stop ripping that bloody brush through your hair… gives me anxiety, treat it like silk not shit! Love you ❤️😘
I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but I think that life is so short that if you do not like the body you have then why not try to lose the weight (e.g. through a calorie deficit diet and exercise if needed)? I know it's definitely not that simple to lose weight, but I hope that if you are unhappy in your body that you do not feel the societal pressure to feel you have to like/accept that body, and that it is equally okay to say I don't like my bigger body and I want to lose this weight (and also equally okay to be confident in a bigger body!!). I love body positively for bigger bodies and I am all for this, but I also worry that this can put pressure on women to have to feel comfortable with their bigger bodies (which gets rid of the whole point of getting rid of this pressure!). Either way I hope you become happy and confident in whichever size of body you want to have!
