I think my favorite part about the entirety of this video is that Dave keeps bringing the conversation back to the things while Shan is being accusatory towards the people in the audience hahaha
Update: I am now going back through all of Dave and Shan’s videos and realizing how much of a common theme this is (Shan going on about the people “You/I”, then Dave spinning the conversation to be about things, and then the both of them handing the baton back and forth) and it’s blowing my mind. Really good example of it in this video here ruclips.net/video/qWiBhfapr5k/видео.html I genuinely can’t believe I never noticed they did this before. I’m going to be searching every video for this now, and then applying it to how I try to type people around me. This Ne-Fi is very happy :))
I feel like my biggest break point was accepting I was a feeler. I realized I was embarrassed of showing emotions and I tried TOO HARD to give everyone my reasons and show off how rational I am, because I was scared of being percieved as dumb, or immature, or irrational or ilogical. I was full out peacocking the living crap out of it. Once I asked around and accepted it, my life has been so much better. I can process my emotions in a healthier manner, I'm more honest with myself and others... And I've also learned to be less scared of my weaknesses and flaws. I want to be better, heal and make those around me happier. Being self aware is very hard. I don't wanna be like "oh I'm this one special type" and show it off. I wanna know myself to a point where I stop bullshitting who I am so that I can actually grow and be happier. Being a feeler is not so bad.
Extremely relatable. I always knew I was a feeler, but from my late teens to my mid 20s I was stuck in "left brain prison". The irony is that I'm probably an INFJ Jumper, which would make me savior Ti instead of savior Fe, but life is so much better when I use Fe than Ti.
Rant at 5:40 is 100% correct. I keep seeing this over and over with people new to the system that don't get what you guys are tracking compared to other systems. It isn't about what you desire and "like" to do, its about what you are actually doing and the voids you are leaving for yourself and others. Didn't expect to get that from this video but I'm pleased to see it snuck into this one.
You are so right about the “fake desires” thing when it comes to typing. My Ni is clearly a demon, yet I have this weird obsession with “a ha! I know exactly the right pattern for my life!” And guess what? Those almost always fail, as they are fleeting and not very thought out.
So true, I always think " that's a great direction for my life" or " if I do this and this I'll be happy" Then I see something shiny and new and start worrying about committing to that one thing and there gos that plan down the toilet. 😂
As a Ti dom I see Ti demons often do the "a ha! I know exactly [how to ti] on this rare occasion when I'm doing Ti and feeling the ultrarare satesfaction of doing it more than just 1 layer deep" and when I see them do that often they fail because they do it in a super shallow way that's like 4 layers deep and I'm 20 layers of Ti and find them cute.
This is a serious EUREKA video for me. At a prenatal appointment, my OB/GYN asked if I was worried about anything... Well, I was feeling awfully overwhelmed by all of the GEAR and equipment needed for a new baby. Felt no fear about actually caring for the child, or loving them, or parenting, etc because I am confident in my capacities in that regard or else I was confident I'd be able to figure it all out, but just raging at the fucking amount of gear and shit I had to research, purchase, assemble, learn how to use, clean, maintain... Not that I'm incapable of using these things, but I find it to be such a slog. At work, I feel annoyed with having 50 portals with all different purposes, different login credentials, documentation, hunting down signatures, but I have no qualms about building rapport with people, explaining procedures and medications to them, answering questions, making them feel comfortable and at ease. THANK YOU for your sharing your incisive insight!

From this video I think Dave is an ENTJ.
He says he’s an INTJ
Well it is just one video. He is in many more videos. If you can objectively approach it. Type each video and see what you get!
From this video he seems very much Intj
Fe = accusatory on people
Te = accusatory on things
Good observation.
Maybe but that is not what they are saying. They think if your T and F is your 2nd and 3rd function you are balanced on people, but lopsided on things. And vice versa as well if your S and N are in 2nd and 3rd you are balanced on things, but lopsided on people.
not at all, both Te and Fe are tribe functions
JESUS IS THE WAY TRUTH AND LIFE ‼️ Please repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus is coming back! Death is uncertain. But if you put your faith and trust in Jesus, you can be certain that when you die you’ll be with Him in Heaven. Please this is not a joke, your soul is on the line! John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. That whosever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life!!!
