    My Izonso is coming up for 9 months old, nothing broken, fallen of or stopped working. I purchased on here we tow’s first video, a wise choice. Interestingly, I think the fold up table is small, have Adria made it bigger for 2019? No problems with the mattress. My wife is the driver, was apprehensive about the width and length, in practice as long as your aware of what’s behind you no issues, a motor mover is a must although when she has had the reverse went ok.
    Best of luck on your travels, enjoy.

    Hi Guys! Great review and love to hear your reflections. We have an Adora 612DT here in Australia... so same dimensions just different bed layout.. WE have loved it. It’s a dual axle (all the Euro Vans in AU for this size are dual) and aside from turning radius and levelling... been great. Best wishes and continue your journey and enjoy the Adria!!!!

    Another great review so informative and always impartial and honest, As we’re trading our 2014 lunar clubman saros this year and looking for an 8ft wide model, so we went to the nec show in October to view all the models on offer the compass casita 860 and bailey Pegasus grande bolonga were originally our favourite caravans but in the end we re going for the 2020 adria adora Isonzo , the look and layout was spot on . Keep the great reviews coming . Mark+Elaine

    Great video guys finding the right caravan took us a couple of years but when we walked into our Swift Vogue we knew it was the right one, I think there will always be small issues that Will show up after the honeymoon period is over. Love the space of a 8 footer but it a big unit to tow.
    Happy caravaning best wishes

    Hi Guys, great video, i know a couple of years since you made this vid, but just purchased this same van just before xmas 2021 off a private sale and loved your comments on the van convinced us to buy it, been 30 years since had a tourer so looking forward to getting back into it . ,prob bought it at the right time as before i hit the road it has given me time to absorb all the rules involved since i used to hook up and never even give the weight a second thought. I have got a 2019 2ltr diesel ford galaxy auto, i have contacted the caravan club and ford and they say as long as i keep the nose weight right and load the van sensibly should be fine, my partner is new to this so bought the van with her in mind as she was impressed with the layout , she is a 5* hotel type of person so jury still out. going on our 1st outing next month so 🤞.

    After you arrive and get all set up, you really want to get out and explore everything. The entire site and beyond. And you want to meet others who you are close to, but with limits of course. I have found that recumbent trikes meet this need in spades. With them, you can comfortably be on your way and be able to safely explore and investigate everything. And your trikes serve as a conversation magnet and a means to break the ice with so many. Recumbent trikes enhance the camping experience exponentially and you will see caravans and motor homes adapt to store them. I guarantee it! Stay tuned.

    Thank you for these videos! My wife and I have been really enjoying them. We particularly like the Adria caravans and
    today we went to see aTiber and an Isonzo, both of which we really liked *except* for the blinds - we found the fly screens wouldn't stay down no matter how hard we tried, although we did get the knack of the night blinds after a couple of tries. Did you ever find the fly screens to be problematic? They were so terrible on all the Adria vans we saw today that we've nearly given up on the idea!

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for watching and with regards the blinds, it is a shame Adria choose the plastic style ones but they are quite common in European manufactured models. Getting the knack of them staying up can take some wizardry, 😂 we have them in our Motorhome and have no issues now.. as for the fly screens, I can’t say I had a problem with those but maybe they have changed since my caravan. Good luck with your caravan search..take your time and make sure you negotiate hard as there are lots of price reductions now. Also, make sure you get a motor mover fitted as part of any deal. The 2025 models will be released across most manufacturers in mid August so that may well affect prices further. All the best and if you are considering an Adria there are some great owners groups on Facebook for advice and information. 😊

    • @jonr5512
      @jonr5512 4 месяца назад

      @@HereWeTow Well the fact that you didn't (and don't) have any issues with the blinds is encouraging - we just need to practice 😅 We've just booked tickets to the show in the NEC in October where we hope to talk to Adria and also check out the Alpina Mississippi. It's a bit unclear what you get for the extra 10k apart from underfloor heating and classier styling. Thank you very much for the tips (hadn't realised when the 2025 models start appearing) and please keep making the videos: you have a fantastic natural style and the videos are really informative and enjoyable. Cheers!

    Another great video you two 👍🏻. We are going to France in June for 3 weeks for my birthday cannot wait. We take our two golden retrievers will you be taking fudge ? Also what do you think about your safefill gas bottle, what’s the chance on a review on that. Keep on caravanning enjoy. 😁😎🍹🍺

      Hi Tammie,
      The France trip sounds fantastic, hope it’s a special birthday treat. We are taking Fudge with us and we can’t wait either. We have found the Safefill brilliant, we have filled it twice and has cost around £20 in total. It’s great for saving on weight for being lighter it’s easy to find refill stations. We would definitely recommend it if your a heavy gas user. 👍👍

    I work in the motor home caravan business.
    Tom tom produce a sat nav that is programmable to what your traveling in.
    So tell it your towing an 8ft caravan to avoid traps.
    Nice vlog.
    Personally if I were going to caravan" then I think I would tow with a van to store belongings in.
    I say the most important think is the bed.
    Has to be big and comfortable most important.

    Hi Guys
    Stumbled on you researching Adria Caravans, I noticed subsequently you have sold on and now are doing more reviews and renovating! Good Luck
    We are starting our caravan upgrade journey, we are on a seasonal pitch that has a few Adria’s on site and they really stand out! Just like you have mentioned on this video
    As you look like you know a lot about caravans and time has moved on!
    Would you still buy another Adria?
    We like the Adora - Seine or Sava
    We don’t want a double bed
    Is this a good choice Vs the competition out there?
    Appreciate any help ☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😀

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  2 года назад

      Thank you for watching and we loved our Adria..still top our list although Coachman are very impressive right now and good build. We have a Seine review out on Thursday which might help. The only thing is they aren’t 8ft wide but they are a could contender if that doesn’t bother you. Get in tough if you need any advice.. 😊 Karina

    • @XTR985
      @XTR985 2 года назад

      Brilliant thank you!
      They just stand out to me! There was one on our previous site and had to look at it every time I walked past it! A year on and there are two on the current site and they both stand out for us from the pack.
      The Seine stands out for its price, my gut says Sava for the 8’ width ( we won’t be towing it )
      However current is an old standard UK width so maybe if we’ve never had we won’t miss
      We did notice an almost New Private Sale Siene on Auto Trader
      Thanks for the reply, I’ve looked at the other brands and they don’t do it for me
      Is an Alpina worth the extra money over Adora? Is an Altea worth a look?
      We live in Wrexham so will pop and see Cara , I’m waiting for a call back
      Good luck with all the content and the renovation

    Hi guys nice vlog little question how are finding the safefill gas bottle and are you being able to refill when you need to and after you have refilled are you getting anymore air in the system than if you would change over from a normal bottle when that runs out.

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  5 лет назад

      Hi Ray, we love our safefill we bought a 10 litre one and in the year we used it, almost full time touring, we have filled it twice costing around £20 in total. We have not noticed any air in the system after changing it and we are finding more and more LPG garages are accepting them. We have never had an issue finding one when we need it. 👍👍

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  4 года назад

      Hi Gerry, the wardrobe is huge in the Isonzo, it is in the middle of the caravan and there are floor to ceiling shelves next to it. There is more storage in this caravan than you will know what to do with. There is a new 2021 model due out later this year which we are getting to see at the end of July. • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  4 года назад +1

      Hi SuperRogers, thanks for watching. No, you go by the body length and not the shipping length when looking at the size for the 7 metre maximum length. You can tow any caravan with a body length up to 7 metres with a car or SUV. If it is over then you are quite right, you need a vehicle with a GVM of over 3.5 tonnes. All the Adrias are within 7 metres even though their total, or shipping length, is over 8 metres. Thanks for your comment 😊 Karina

    Have just bought an Adria Adora Insonzo. Feel like a complete muppet as I can't find the hot water tank and am struggling to understand how the hot water works. Any feedback appreciated.

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  4 года назад

      Hi Vicky, sorry I have just seen your message. The hot water tank is either under the offside lounge seat or hidden in the wardrobe, I cannot remember off the top of my head. The tank will fill from your aqua roll and will heat when you set it to on your Alde control panel. You dont need the heating on to heat the water. If you are on electric hook up then set it to electric to power it and not gas. To empty your tank there are two valves in the bottom of the wardrobe. One is yellow and one might be blue or black. To empty all you water you need to flick the valves up and you will hear the water run out underneath. Make sure you close them again and make sure your water pump is turned off on the wall at the door. If you dont your water pump will start pumping water in. Open all the taps in the sinks and shower to drain any water out and leave these open until the next time you go away. Enjoy your Isonzo, we loved ours. Karina

    Is the buccaneer any good as an option. ( we are thinking of upgrading in the next 12 months) . 8 ft wide scares me.

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  4 года назад +1

      Hi Guy, an 8ft wide caravan is fine to tow as long as you plan you route and stay on larger roads. We have towed our Adria around 15000 miles now, including Europe, and touch wood no issues. The Buccaneer is a nice top end caravan, my advice is look at all the caravans in the price range you have and if you are on Facebook join owners groups. See what owners say about their experience of that caravan. Thanks for watching 😊 Karina

    Very informative.
    Hope you guys can point me in the right direction. Am struggling to find Adria brochures online...I live abroad and will only be returning to the UK in 2020 - and I am looking for an older Adria model...2014 / 15 with the exact same layout as your Isonzo.
    Or alternatively... an end island bed with a middle / central toilet with separate shower.
    Any suggestions? TIA 🌸

    • @HereWeTow

      Thank you for watching..I think the earliest Isonzo will be around 2015 and any earlier will be an Altea Trent model but they don’t have a separate toilet and shower. You can use the caravanfinder website to search for models and that’s very useful. All the best for your return in 2020 😊

    They are lovely vans well made and very stylish I was blown away by the design when I first looked at them but digging deeper too many issues for me, kitchen work surface poor design, sink bowl should be in middle with square hob to the right that would create extra space , the front fold out table no good for eating at so fold out table has to come out, foam seat cushions and mattress should be sprung, and rear bathroom is so narrow and unlined shower cubicle is a real worry, dont think you even get a tv aerial ? no standard ATC on a van this big ? if they change all that I would buy one but then how much would it be !

      Thank you for watching, we love ours but then the points you mention haven’t been deal breakers for us. You can have a flap fitted and I think Adria May consider that and the front chest for future U.K. vans as we made this feedback. They do come with an Ariel this year and even with all our towing ATC hasn’t been something we’ve needed or missed. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes to the 2020 models out later this year 👍

    Great vid & well thought out. We had recently upgraded our van, we had a tracker already installed in the van & We also have a CaSSOA storage site. When you had discussed your Adria security I was wondering if you had micro dotted everything in your van.. We have and in the event of anything being stolen we know police would be able to track it back to us !!! we even micro dotted hidden areas within the van so no matter what thieves try to do to hide the identity of the van they wont be able to find every single dot.."Just a thought" Happy days..

      Thanks David that’s a very good point. We obviously haven’t disclosed all the things we have done for security reasons but this is a very valid point. Micro dots and Smart water to name but a few. All good security measures. Thanks for commenting. 👍

    Hi
    we have enjoyed your journey over the past 12 months as we both retired Jan 2018 and we have our caravan on a seasonal pitch and we tour from that pitch so most weeks were in the caravan in Shropshire 4 or 5 days every week till we hitch up and travel best wishes Dave

      Brilliant, and that to us is what it’s all about. The freedom the caravan brings is fantastic and glad your getting plenty of use out of it. Hopefully catch you on a site one of these days. Thank you for commenting. 👍👍

    Can't say fairer than that! Funny we agree about the front chest... I think that would make a huge positive difference to what is already a brilliant van :)

    I'm glad your ownership experience has been positive. Buying the right caravan in the first place has paid off. Are you going to give Adria your feedback with the issues such as the mattress? Is it possible to get a cover for the sink to get round the lack of worktop space (something else to feed back to Adria)? As ever, the presentation is spot on. We've just had our Lunar out on the first outing of the year.

    • @HereWeTow
      @HereWeTow  5 лет назад

      Thanks David for commenting, it does come with a cover for the sink but as we always use it, it is constantly put away. As for the mattress it would be nice for Adria to pick up on this and maybe offer it as an optional upgrade. Hope you have a good getaway in your Lunar. 👍👍👍

    Hi guys, great advice there for newbies, take time choosing the layout, don't be pressured by sales people, it's a huge investment as Jules mentioned. I've loved seeing your first year cruise by. Us? Well Julie and I have just ordered our new van, basically because the layout we thought was ideal just isn't working. Be sure, be happy.
    All the best,
    Black Country Dave

    Great video once again. You are so right about taking youre time over the choice. It took us nearly 12 months of browsing magazines, the web and dealerships. Eventually, we decided on exactly what we wanted, went to see one with high expectations and hated it. We went to the NEC Caravan Show and came away none the wiser. We finally got the choice down to three models, the transverse island bed being the priority. We kept going into each one and nit picked them to pieces until we found ourselves sitting in the one we prefered and bought it.
    You'll love France, we're off to Brittany again in June. Quite pleased that Brexit has been delayed so no problems with passports and licences for the time being. Don't know where you are going and you may already be aware that certain cities in France require vehicles to display an air quality certificate. Link here: www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ Have fun and keep the videos coming :)

    Great video guys. Wouldn’t it be great if dealers offered a rental service so people could try before you buy & perhaps refund any charges should you decide to buy? As you quite rightly say it’s a huge investment second to a house for some people. Keith & Michele

    TOATALLY agree with Karina’s comments about ATC. We have it fitted on our caravan and it’s activated faulsly on a number of occasions, mostly due to an uneven road surface tricking it into thinking it’s swaying. On the one occasion where I did have to perform an evasive towing manoevere at 40mph in the rain at night to avoid half a tree dangling down in the middle of the road, it did activate and give that reassuring resistance, but we would have been absolutely fine without it fitted. Having towed two different caravans over a fair distance without having ATC fitted I believe that with a correctly matched outfit driven safely with the correct speed for not only the road but the conditions, then ATC is not nessesary. All things considered, I think I’d rather have it than not, but I wouldn’t spend £££ to spec it on a new caravan if we ever change.
    Sorry for waffling on! Stephen 👍

      At 1800kg the pay load is 240kg. Your Mtplm must be a lot lower?.

      @HereWeTow  5 лет назад

      The MTPLM is 1750kg to be exact with a payload of 157kg and an MIRO of 1597kg. It can be up plated to 1800kg then giving a payload of 207kg.
