It is not just about Scorpions and Scales. Inversion stunt is worth, if not the same, more. Clean skills, tight motions, COMPLETE tumbling. Two jump series both to tucks, timed in synch. Know your score sheet and you will learn as to why they won. If inversions were easy, everyone would be doing them....how many teams did you see doing them?
That doesn't disregard the fact that even on Day 2, Cali had issues. Stingrays' routine was cleaner and more well executed than Cali's. I do have high hopes for Cali next year. 2nd place 2 years in a row? They're in need of a world's title!

Stingrays hit both days. Lady bullets didn't. Stingrays completed all of their tumbling passes. Lady bullets didn't. Stingrays had the cleanest and sharpest routine. Lady bullets didn't. 3 jumps to a tuck AND 2 jumps to a tuck jump sequence. Cali only did 3 jumps to a tuck. That last stunt sequence to the pyramid was amazing! and just made that last push to nailing that top spot. It would be nice to see someone else winning worlds but stingrays won it fair and square this year.
Wow orange rays. That was an awesome routine. They have such amazing tumbling. They land them with such ease. Or so perfect every time. Why you hatin? Why you hatin? on this team. I never heard anyone say oh we won with our scorpions. Bahaha. No one can say (in any division) that they have 6 world titles. 4 back to back.
Ok i love Cali! Cali is my favorite team, my friends are on the team, and Elite was my favorite routine of worlds 2012! but but i agree that stingrays should of won. they were clean and hit everything.. i dont get how cali choked at worlds when ive seen them hit that routine many of times.if cali hit everything clean, they definably would of won. but they didnt, they wobbled both days and it broke my heart!and i dont think stingrays routine is boring at all.i think they had some awesome & clean
I add the scores Orange 268.53. Lady Bullets 263.83 with penalty. Lady bullets w/o penalty 266.33 so they would have still lost. Orange won get over it!!!!! Is it true that orange is going into meddiumthis year?
I love Cali...but they had a bobble? That 1.5 deduction is enough to get second. Plus Cali didn't have any seriously overpowering factor over Orange? You REALLY have to get down to the details of the two routines. Both were plenty amazing though.
@libertypridecheer1 I think you have the wrong girls. These girls are some of the sweetest girls I know. And to all out a whole squad when you don't know any of them is just poor on your part. They are teenage girls, sometimes things are said but I know these girls and poor sports is not anything any of those girls are.
Orange has a better Resume then anyone haha. Jeez Cali fans are such babies. Always complaining that Cali elite didn't win. First it was panthers last year. Now orange. Can't anyone be happy for the winning team. Dang just pissed they have more world title than ANY team in every division.
Nobody should have won!The teams earn it.Just because the team you wanted to win didn't doesn't give you the right to be bitter about it on the video of the team that EARNED it.We all have opinions and yours is Cali should have won, but you are not a judge and had no control over who hit what on the score sheet.Rays was the better team in the judges minds.Both teams had a bad first day, and orange came out flawless day 2, its all about who can hit on a given day that's why orange EARNED the win

Gymnastics does look fun, but I love cheerleading. Orange might've hit, but it was pretty boring. What kind of first stunt is that?

Cali had a fall on day one and a bobble on day 2. As much as I love Lady Bullets/Cali-Elite, Orange deserved this win. Congratulations 'Rays!

As much as I LOVE them and they are amazing, I couldn't help watching cami branson in the background marking her stunts and dancing ahahahhaha
