- Fran and Maxwell get stuck in the elevator on the way to Maxwell's date.
From Season 3 Episode 7, 'Oy vey, you're gay'. C.C. is annoyed when Maxwell hires the gorgeous publicist, Sydney, to help him with his public image. Maxwell is taken with her and plans a romantic date for the two of them. It turns out that Sydney is gay. Fran rushes to meet Maxwell so he is not left alone on the date but the pair end up getting stuck in the elevator.

This series has aged so well. As compared to other shows from the same time-period, which are so offensive and cringey now. This is my go-to whenever I am sad. It always cheers me up.
I agree! This show always makes me cackle when im down in the dumps
Yesss, there are definitely some jokes a bit, ehm, outdated. But other than that, it holds up pretty nicely. Not to mention it’s really funny and the cast is so delightful, everyone shines in their own way, especially Fran. I only watched it recently but it’s become one of my favorite sitcoms.

Fran's pink dress is why I like this episode.
It’s beautiful. I’ve been watching a lot of these clips lately and I’m amazed how well her outfits have aged. I’m sure many of us would rock that pink outfit today, at least I would!

I read somewhere Fran did her own her own stunt during this scene.
She did! They actually had a stunt double ready to do the scene but she ended up having bunions on her feet😭😭😭😂😂😂 so Fran decided to do it herself
She also some of her own stunts also she used the same stunt double although the hole the nanny show ect

This bit was a Lucy homage. Fran is a big Lucy fan and she influenced/is mentioned in the show a lot.

No one really wear pantyhose anymore. Poor Max. Fran had on pantyhose and wore close toe shoes which probably cause her feet to be sweaty and stinky.
Many women still wear them! Although maybe not daily, they are still worn in business stuff and special ocassions like weddings etc..!🤗✨😏💯

If only more women realized that men are really turned on by pantyhose. My brother and his friends go crazy over female legs in tights, stockings, etc. The leg lamp bit in *A Christmas Story* is not just a recurring gag.
