There is just something about the Final Fantasy VI remixes. The church organ is a perfect offset to the keyboard and brings new life into these songs. I love the verity and that it sounds more dramatic. Thanks so much for these remixes! Please keep 'em coming!
Assuming Rebirth ends around the death of that one character, I almost hope it doesn't. Part of me wants them to save it for the final game, but the other part of me wants them to do something wholly original or perhaps a mashup for the ultimate final boss theme.
The truth is that the electronic instruments used for the original were **not that much new** from the kind used for the Super Nintendo titles that came before FF7.
It's not just FF5 you know. The battle theme itself is different from game to game, but that baseline has been used to open nearly every main battle theme up until FF10. Even in the two games where it wasn't used in the main battle theme, it was used in either the penultimate battle (in this case, Bizzaro Sephiroth in FF7), or the final battle (Ultimecia's final form in FF8 after an extremely long and slow buildup for about a minute and a half before the baseline kicks in) While the "FF baseline" has mostly fallen out of favor since FF10, they've still used it in remixes (Record Keeper adds it in to a chiptune remix of Blinded By Light from 13, and WoFF adds it in to a Veiled In Black remix for a fishing minigame of all things) The fact that you're associated it with only FF5 tells me you're a tourist and not an actual fan of the series.
Bloody hell this is 99.95% the same as the official PlayStation version. Brilliant job. Can I ask, is this why the music on the ps1 version felt brilliantly thought out but poorly executed? I felt that Squaresoft could have used better tech back in the day.
They could, but they prolly didn't know exactly how nor had time to develop it much ~ remember FF7 was one of the earliest PS1 games. They eventually improved a lot in later games.
Hey not to sound rude but maybe you should have the artist/ musician channel name and info on the screen during the video instead of just in the comments No disrespect or anything intended but seeing as you are posting their work I feel that fact should be more at the front from thw get-go, as ppl have short attention spans and many won't even consider looking in the comments/description.
Another great proof of concept that the FF7 soundbank literally evolved from FF6
I mean, I can barely notice the differences between both versions.
@@Jurarigo Listen back to back and they’re quite apparent
I think they're mainly from a Roland synthesiser for 6 and 7
It's nice Square hasn't forgotten about this form of Sephiroth, but they do seem to have forgotten this theme.
Birth of a god more like birth of a godlike track
This was also another masterpiece I was hoping there'd be an extended version of. Great work!
This is one of the only remixes to include the deep Piano part of the song, I dont know why others dont include it, but you did. Very good remix.

The soundchip for the SNES was made by Sony. Hence, the similarities.
Nothing beats that juicy 0.5s long ff6 snare
This version is my favourite
What was an already amazing song, but made even better.
Great one!
Excited to see these Sephiroth battles in the remake-if they do happen.
This sounds great on SNES.

Oooohh great work!
I always thought this was better than One Winged Angel, this further solidifies it. Such a goddamn banger
When will you do a remix of J-E-N-O-V-A?
(also a remix of FF7 Remake's OWA but that's impossible xd)
Soon ;)
its almost identical to the original if only lmms could make sounds like this
Wtf this is straight out of the ps1 version ?? Mindblown
This is a really good remix!
FF7 for the Snes confirm! Can't wait to play it
Think about the sequence of the 5 targets
And beat them!
If one part dies, change to a different party.
This is so sick!!
MAKE THIS INTO A GAME NOW!
it sounds 16 bit in the first place I heard this song.
Very good.
Would the SNES have been able to play music like this? I know it has the same soundboard but I feel like its too many sounds at once.
There's many .SPC convertions of this track and they sound pretty close.
finally found a remix worth of the original
Somehow… this sounds better.

Render⬇️16-bit!

Final Fantasy 5 battle theme throwback @0:26 awesome!

@@Nugem I love the remakes of the soundtrack that are done now. Full orchestral or metal or whatever suits... Happy days.
