Brilliant interview guys. Could listen to him telling stories in his wonderful accent all day long. You are both so good at interviewing your guests as you are both so naturally curious about people.

I am really enjoying this interview especially the Russia part. I'm not sure you guys are reading the comments or not but just a suggestion. Would be nice to interview someone who moved to England from Eastern Europe/Asia/Africa ... and their struggles, finding happiness, getting on with their gay life in the UK.

OMG I could listen to him all day every day. Especially since he's the embodiment of all many things I'm passionate about, food, culture, recipes, stories, connecting with others, fairies, lore, Gaelic and Norse heritage, hugge, farming, being off grid, and it doesn't hurt that he's got such an intriguing accent! 😊
Thanks for having in such beautiful humans doing such amazing work. Can't wait to go binge all his content and get the books. And can't wait for you guys to go visit their "highland sheep and coos" and cabin and tell us about it. Inverness and the north bits of Scotland were on the family history (Gunn clan and others) part of itinerary on my backpacking trip set to leave on 9/11 (which was obviously canceled).

What a fascinating guy! Though a Yank, I feel like my real tribe is on your side of the pond. I'm also a huge fan of Norse and British Isles mythology so I really connected with this episode. Kills my soul that Coinneach was only just in Denver where I could have attended his event if I'd only known. You didn't ask him if he picked up some Russian from his time there. It's a language I can speak, though only rudimentarily. Thanks, guys, for introducing him. Have to get one or more of his cookbooks.

Keegan, Joel and BTS Harry, you have produced an amazing podcast this episode! In my opinion, Coinneach McLeod is undoubtedly now “The Most Interesting Man in the World” replacing the character from the Dos Equis beer commercials that ran in the United States of America from 2006 to 2016.
The television commercial featuring “The Most Interesting Man in the World” was one where the character was portrayed as a charismatic and adventurous older gentleman who lived an extraordinary and exciting life. His exploits were larger-than-life, ranging from scaling mountains to mingling with royalty. The character’s catchphrase, “I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis,” became hugely popular. The campaign’s signature lines were “Stay thirsty, my friends,” delivered at the end of each commercial.
The commercial featured outlandish statements and stories about the “Most Interesting Man,” such as “He once parallel-parked a train” or “Sharks have a week dedicated to him,” delivered in a deadpan style. These statements, along with the visuals, gave the character a legendary and humorous aura. The character became a cultural icon, spawning internet memes, parodies, and a huge fan following.
Coinneach McLeod is this fictional character personified. He has done so much and so many varied things in his life that I ended the podcast feeling educated, intrigued, fascinated and ready to bake. I also wrestled with feelings of woeful inadequacy for not achieving a tittle of what he has done in life even though I am 10 years older. Ugh.
Given the treasure trove of stories Coinneach McLeod had to tell, I sincerely hope that there exists unaired material available, some behind the scenes content, that you might make available to your HappyHealthyHomo Very Important Patrons. 👍♥️🌈
