These are the slickest addition to RV accessories. I really enjoy fixing the fold out steps, cinder block under them eliminates the bounce.

Got it to finally work in my Winnebago Micro Minnie. Problem was door clearance when steps out and want to close door. Had to cut 3/4" from door to make fit.

We have this new version of step on our trailer but now when the trailer is on the side of our house we can’t even get inside because there is not enough room for the stairs to open and go down... and because of that we can’t even open the door:(. How do we fix this issue? Or how can we get old steps installed instead?

When you boondock at Walmart or something those steps are a pain. Do you leave them out as a welcome mat to weirdos, or pull them up somehow and then figure out how to close the door? I wish I had the folding steps.

Why not go with the 3 step unit rather than having your last step on the ground. It seems to me that you will have to raise the right side of your trailer most of the time you go camping.

We decided on the 4 step due to the trailer owner's limited physical mobility. Having the first step close to the ground helps him with climbing in and out of the rig, as opposed to having the first step up higher, and possibly significantly higher if the ground slopes away from the trailer's right side. It seems odd but it worked best in this example.

Each electric step has a limit switch that stops it at the stored position and the deployed position. You can probably adjust the "deployed" limit switch to stop where you want it. Check the manufacturers' website for your step and you can find a downloadable owner's manual.

Changing mine back. There are no drain holes to let water and debris out. So now when you fold them up everything on them gets dumped inside your rv. the feet on adjustable legs are small and sink if ground is even slightly soft. Not worth the money especially if you move a lot . Only place these might be good is for someone staying in a more permanent site.
To top it off this idiot should have used the 3 step unit. Now he has no room for adjustment. what happens when you need to raise the other side to level the camper?? ? Now your door wont shut. Look folks we got a real rocket scientist here.
