Would it really be the worst idea to have your e-mail marketing sequences be pre-built and static as opposed to writing a new e-mail every single day? The whole motivation for starting an online business for me is the passive income.
no. The worst idea would be to not email at all. If you're spending time building and autoresponder series, then testing and tweaking the autoresponder series… That's not passive. That's very active. Great video. I've been following you and many other marketers for years now and I see how it's done. Make a separate funnel for each interest within your main interest (my example: high-ticket drop shipping > niche selection, conversion optimization, driving traffic, etc.) and then make emails that offer a free video that explains the "secrets", send them to the squeeze page, then on the bridge page i deliver the video and make an offer for a front-end mini-course ($97 or so), and then follow up with them via email to provide them a bunch of value broken down into little chunks over a week or two, then pitch the course again, if they didn't buy. That's the overall plan, now comes the work to get it all done.
Yep... right on. To round out the 'follow up' part, here is how I run it. Each of those interests/entrance points have a separate follow up sequence of a few emails... Could be 3 or 10, whateves. THEN, they all dump people into one list or add one tag. I usually name this "Broadcast" and this is who get's my daily emails... When people are in the follow up from any of my entrance points (FB one is like 12 emails, the free-course is like 2 emails) they DONT get my broadcst emails... Until the day after they complete the follow up sequence... Then they get tagged and go into my broadcast... So the 'warm up' process for leads is automated, but the daily email is the ongoing relationship to stay relevant and helpful and further build the 'trusted advisor' role. #milliondollarbusinessplan
The only question is how do you know that the content you are writing about in your broadcast list is relevant to the reader? If they signed up for something on conversion optimization, but I send an email about a tool that helps with niche selection, it might not be relevant and cause an unsubscribe. Do you send separate emails to different segments, or only send broadcasts on a certain topic to a segment of your broadcast list?
you will find a way… Don't let hypotheticals get in the way of bigger picture systems that will get you to do the work more regularly. Trying to manage six lists all day every day and do effective email marketing is physically impossible. Ask me how I know… But in your super specific hypothetical example you have a few choices… Number one tell a story. To be a story about how you started your second site and doing better niche research was the key to that one. Number two mail it anyways, most people don't open your emails from the Broncos list anyways. 30% open rate is pretty good, so that means two thirds of people won't see it anyways… Number three, add some sort of a callout to the subject line so people can auto fill to themselves… "If you're stuck on what niche to choose, read this" no one is can unsubscribe from you if there beyond that step and you cover that step cleanly… And honestly you'd be amazed how many people who you think have their ship together need to go back to the basics and look back at their niche

Please do the video on why aweber & active campaign. The reason I use them is that they are so much easier to use than the others. Active campaign is so well organised I ended up favouring over aweber. But I still like aweber because I used it for ages.

Just like you, I’m doing this daily, because I wrote 50 long and very helpful blog posts. In every email I have a PS info with a link to my product, I’m every blog post I also have the product offer around in a way that is not pushy. Do you think this is going to work ? Any advice on that ?

How long of an autoresponder is kind of a personal thing... I know people with literally 2 years worth pre-created and I know people who do zero... Both can work. To me, an autoresponder should tell the backstory a bit and get them interested in you and your solutions... I just don't like writing those kinds of email series' so I just get them to my daily email list as fast as I can... lol.

I wanted to know if you could share with us how we can "exclude" or "whitelist" my staff's IP addresses & my IP address to avoid the Pixel tracking us because creating LLA or CA of ourselves doesn't help much :-) LOL and obviously it skews the data. Sounds like a great test... Monitor your results and open rates and adjust accordingly.
