I love the fact you actually play TCG, it means you appreciate the moves, abilities etc. I get some people just collect them, but when opening packs they literally fly through the standard cards and only care about V/Full arts/Vmax, they don't delve into the abilities or take the time to look at each card I can see it taking a long time etc but.....

This is my single biggest complaint of Pokémon RUclips and why I love Bou. I’m coming back after a while and I’m not familiar with most modern cards, so when people fly through them it makes me feel like they don’t appreciate the card itself just the dollar value it brings
I actually started just collecting, because in my city (I'm from Mexico) there's absolutely no one that plays Pokémon cards.
Or maybe there is, the problem is that those ptcg fans actually find each other...

Only just gotten into things recently here, but I'm loving my Leafeon deck! Straightforward attacker with lots of consistency to help you learn the game; it's been a great beginner option for me.
I love that you got to play with your nephew in the pre-release event. I was going to do the same thing with my nephew for his first event. However, the local card shop ended up only having take home kits. So we went back to my brother's house and had our first @ home tournament to teach him. We are all newbies to the TCG but excited to learn and attend some local events. We also used the same Dragon Shield sleeves!! Congrats on the pulls!! Keep the content coming, we enjoy watching you and Taco host the weekly tournaments.

I just got into playing over the summer, started out with an inteleon Vmax deck and now I just recently built my own baby RS urshifu / medicham V deck and I am loving it! looking forward to competitive play opening back up!

My younger brother convinced me to start collecting when Evolving Skies released. I've always been very introverted, but after watching your "How To" videos I finally worked up the courage to build a deck, put myself out there and play with others.
Now, just tonight I was able to help my wife through her first match and we both had a great time! She's a total natural and I can't wait to help her get started and share this hobby with her! It's all thanks to the sweet community you've built here, so thanks :)
Anyway, right now I'm really enjoying my Glaceon deck, lots of draw power and it disrupts decks that rely a lot on VMAX. It makes for interesting matches! Plus, it gives me an excuse to use my boi Pumpkaboo haha ~

I started playing during this pandemic, it has helped me in so many ways. Right now my favorite deck to play is the evolving skies Regidrago. I've been really into single prize decks recently.

Since I started collecting with my brother, we recently started to learn how to play together since we forgot how to as kids, so the only decks we’ve ever tried are weak self-made decks we play against each other as practice. It’s always fun to try out tactics we learn about in these videos.

My husband got me into pokemon cards and now we are obsessed! We were able to get a full set of the surfing pikachu v and vmax cards and I love my deck with those. Surfing pikachu is soooooo cute!

I've had two Fusion Strike booster boxes so far and pulled two full arts and two secret rares from the second box, including the Gengar VMAX alt art.
My girlfriend and I recently started playing the TCG together and my deck is currently an electric/psychic deck. So far we are just like experimenting with different configurations and really just learning the game.
It's so awesome how much you hype up playing the game! It really is a great, fun, strategic game that anyone can play at any level casual or competitive.

I collected pokemon as a kid. I got out of his for years. I recently got back into it when my best friend bought me a Gardevoir V Battle Deck, since I love psychic pokemon. I started collecting between Chilling Reign and Evolving Skies. I just started playing online and getting familiar with the rules. I'd like to eventually play on person.
I love Mew. It's ny favorite pikemon. So I'm pretty excited they came out with a ETB thay focuses on Mew.

I started playing like 6 months ago when I found an old Hydreigon theme deck in a toy store, but really got into it with you channel. I mostly played Standard since that's what I can get in stores now, and have built my first deck which is Dragapult!

Right now I'm enjoying Charizard and/or Inteleon-based decks in TCGO. With the real cards, we're still trying to collect enough to make our own decks, but they're all pretty electric and fire types.
Only deck I've played is Mad Party in the online version, but want to get into the physical version of the game eventually.

I haven’t started playing the tcg yet, but playing a Regidrago deck sounds like fun to me. From what I’ve seen it’s an effective and affordable deck so it seems like a good option for starting out.
I started playing Pokémon TCGO because of you and I love your content. I built a deck around GardevoirV and Cursola so it’s almost a Pure Psychic type deck. It is in an expanded deck as well.

I'm just starting to learn the tcg because of you! I've always picked fire starters in the games so I want to build a fire deck but if it could ever be competitive I would want to build an electric rat (aka a Pikachu family) deck, especially now that Plusle, Minun, and Togedemaru are in a Sword and Shield set with Fusion Strike.
My favorite deck I'm using now is with the Kyogre from celebrations. Such a fun deck to take out the bench. Thanks for all your awesome videos! You helped me get excited about the actual game of the cards. It's been great!
I have way more fun playing someone face to face as well as being able to meet other people who love the game as well is an awesome plus. Never been to a big event besides playing at my local card shop so I'm PUMPED lol also when single strike urshifu came out he was my jam and when umbreon was introduced it just made it ten times better

From only po town to now to a bunch of companies building partnerships with this channel makes me happy!; I honestly love pokemon a ton but I would’t consider myself a tcg player or at least a good one, However I like plant deck that often heal themselfs and more recently urshifu Rapid strike has been a deck that seems very fun for me. my partner and I had just gotten into playing the game a couple of months before sword and shield base set came out and then covid happened :((( we recently got back into the game and are really excited to open some fusion strike!
i'm currently playing the Leafeon deck as it's simple and straightforward and I liked the mechanics of it but I'd love to try out something more complicated! we've been watching you for a couple of years now Bou and you always put a smile on our faces.
The deck i would build would be around dark types or water types! My two favorite. Pokémon in general has actually dramatically helped my mental health. My daughter and I started learning how to play after she started watching Pokémon Journey this year. She was really excited about Eevee, especially after Evolving Skies came out. Several booster packs later we have built decks from Evolving Skies and really excited to start playing my Razquaza deck 🐉

after yearrrrs of collecting my partner and i just started playing the tcg for the first time since we were kids! he's been playing a fire/electric deck with victini and i've made a steel/physic deck with zacian! it's been a really fun experience for us and; it's even become a fun family affair since our daughter is starting to enjoy collecting cards too! your beginner friendly tcg videos have been so helpful!! thank you thank you for all your work bou!!

My current favorite deck is RS Urshi & Blaziken Vmax! It's tons of fun and gives two options for attacking.
I still have my gen 3 decks put together, I love playing my Deoxys/Unown deck, swapping forms was so much fun, and my Rocket deck, Dark Crobat, Black Beam, you're poisoned. 3 of them in there too

I've been playing for a long while so I can say that one of my favorite decks was Gyarados from Storm Front! It was just a fun mechanic that I wish they would bring back! As for current decks I really adore Leafeon/Inteleon right now. It's refreshing to have a decent grass deck! Single Strike Box for the raw power, great type coverage, and sheer excitement (because it can get pretty clunky and leave you stuck in top deck town, making every draw nerve-wracking)!
My best friend just got me into Pokémon TCG literally two days ago. He surprised me with my first booster packs with some of the giant cards as a way to help me be social again by learning to play. Going out and being around people makes me nervous but I’m excited to go out for cards and make new friends soon. I’m hoping to build a deck around some of my favourite, cute Pokémon especially bug Pokémon.🥰

I just got recently back into collecting Pokémon cards, being the last time was about 20 years ago. Been really digging the channel and the knowledge bombs you drop on me to help me understand the game! Never got the chance to play or learn when I was young so I've only been collecting so far in my resurgence of my childhood passion. Love what you do here and I definitely want to start playing the game soon! After I learn, I plan to teach my friends and get them back into it too! Bou I started playing so I am using kyurem deck deck since it is easy to play and but I would like to get to the point where I can play the umbreon v max deck
I’ve always been into Pokémon tcg but recently started to get back into it seriously, and now the competitive aspect of the game has completely captured me, I’ve always wanted to build a grass-type deck and see how it would do in a tournament
Glad to hear some places were able to fully play prereleases. Its one of the events I didn't think I would miss as much, but the hilarity that can be caused by some of the first decks plus the hype of pulling things during them use to be so awesome. My favorite expanded deck is decidueye ninetales, it was always just so much fun for me to play. My favorite current deck is shiftry shiftadeu, friends helped me build it as a joke but so far its actually been working at our locals.

I recently started playing with my fiancé earlier this year. I play dragapult and she plays shadow rider calyrex. We also started building a blissey deck after watching one of your videos! We both love watching your videos and how you explain when cards are good competitively when you do your box openings!
i love the zacian deck, its super budget friendly, straighforward, and pretty powerful. also steel type pokemon are dope
I haven't played the tcg in a while, or collected the cards much, but just got back into collecting with Fusion Strike. The colors and goo style remind me a ron of Phantom Forces, which is my favorite set evet, and only one I've ever gotten a box for. I played at one event and played a Night March deck and loved it. I still have it built actually!
Can’t wait to build a deck around my favorite Pokémon, Latias! Also the supporter cards with the generic names is a reference to the games where they have a a general name like “Bug Catcher” followed by their individual name. But they all have the same sprite or avatar.
My favorite decks to play are definitely single prizers. Taking the W feels more satisfying. I do want to build a deck around a play set of breakdancing Genesect though.

I don't have much experience in Pokemon deck building, but I've seen cards that manipulate the opponent's damage counters. That seems fun. Also, the Cram-o-matic seems like it would work well in a V Fusion deck since you have to have all of the cards in your discard pile

I haven't been able to play competitive tcg since Covid started. When I did Pikachu and Zekrom Tag team was my go-to. I really am looking forward to events coming back soon and this would be the perfect kickoff for that! I'm most excited to see all of the new decks that people are coming up with, and I hope to play single-strike Urshifu with Umbreon. It looks really fun! Thanks for doing this giveaway!
Hands down my favorite deck to play with is the Mach Strike. May not be the best but I always have fun playing it.

Ive been a long time collector / spectator, but just started seriously playing when Evolving Skies dropped! My favorite deck right now is either Sandaconda Spread, or Jumpluff / Scroll!
What an awesome give away, Bou! I love playing single prize decks, like cinderace or decidueye. But I also love electric decks (was a huge fan of pikarom) and can't wait to play the bolton VMAX deck. Great video, love what you do!
I've haven't played in person yet, but online I really enjoy the Single Prize - Single Strike Urshifu and Houndoom Deck, it has performed surprisingly well, especially against big decks like Shadow Rider Calyrex and everything in between :)
Fusion Strike will be the set that's been dropped since getting back into Pokemon, can't wait to get my hands on some cards.
