- This crawlspace had pooled water, loose fiberglass insulation, rodent nests, animal poop, and surprise , a huge water leak from a disconnected drain pipe under the rear bathroom. Sewage. Gross! No way was I going to crawl under there in those conditions. I sent in the CrawlBot.
I don't think that's a drone but cool car nonetheless
Hi i just came across this video im really impressed with this rc vehicle what brand and name is this rc you used i need somthing like this for home inspections
I bought an Axial RC crawler at the hobby shop for $800 and mounted a goPro camera and some lights.
Glad you didn't go in there. But I did see a squatter.
how would you rate the unite you used and how much did it cost?
Hi John Paul. I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you curious about the camera, the lighting or the RC crawler?
@@berthull9333 the Rc crawler,I'm interested in using it for crawlspace inspection
@@JohnPaul-ye5sk $800 for the rc crawler, remote, battery and charger. I mounted a GoPro camera $499 and some fancy adjustable LED lights $199 on it.
Thank you for the video. Specifically, which RC did you by? Make model scale size. Thank you

Whats the spec of the crawspace drone?

You are not meeting the inspector code requirements by this shortcut there sir
Actually I'm exceeding the requirements. I'm getting some information about an unsafe space that otherwise would not be inspected. Inspectors do not have to crawl around in rodent-infested, sewer-soaked filth. I'm the 2021 InterNachi inspector of the year. I train home inspectors.
Want it.
Put FPV so you don't have to go in too...
Go Pro range is bluetooth so it is limited. If I had a camera with a radio signal I could stay outside but I only have GoPro cameras right now. Bluetooth range is only 25 ft.
not too bad of one tbh. im not seeing crazy mold
actually I see a lot of mold
I would trust a handson inspection with humidity measurements and close up photos more than this.
Experienced inspectors don't crawl through mouse poop and standing puddles of sewage. Instead of not inspecting the crawlspace, the robot gives an opportunity to view the space without putting the inspector in danger.
@@berthull9333 I'm using crawlspace ninja for a complete encapsulation and the very professional estimator spend about 45 minutes down there measuring, sampling and up close photographing every thing before giving me an amazing estimate. If he showed up with a RC toy and never set foot in my crawlspace I wouldn't do business with them. Crawlspace Ninja is amazing!
is the name rccrawler
Very interesting but how did you take enough time to perform a thorough inspection (moisture checks, ducts, pipes, etc)?
there were active leaks, fallen fiberglass insulation, rodent nests and sewage in that crawl space. I'm not doing a full inspection of that crawlspace, only showing the condition. No home inspector is going into that filth and doing moisture checks and duct checks. There is enough in this video to call for major repairs. Job done.
