Mu'tazila 7 - The Mu'tazila Conception of Tawhid

This episode looks at the life and arguments of the Ja'ad bin Dhirham and Jahm bin Safwan as the precursors to the Mu'tazila development of the concept of Tawhid. First, this new conception rejected the anthropomorphism of God; and second, it argued that only God was eternal.
