It’s really nice to watch a video like this that shows a side that isn’t shown enough. It is truly a struggle, public housing is not something *most* people would ever choose for themselves. It’s embarrassing, you feel ashamed, you lose your confidence and self esteem because you feel so worthless. It’s so hard. I want to cry even thinking about it.

I live in public housing and what people usually say to me is "get a job!". I then explain i work fulltime and have done so for the last 10 years. The next thing is they want to evict me for going to work. You can't win unless your sleeping out of a car.

I guess these people must live in the U.K. Dole bludger is not a term I'm familiar with. I guess our term here in the US would be colloquially a "welfare queen". I'm NOT making any judgments.
