      It honestly is! Just give it 12v from somewhere and rest is plug and play..

    And the antenna? Does that need to get back to the main control box?

      Yes the antenna routes back to the control unit - I put mine on a bracket next to my right mirror but the cable is long enough to go basically anywhere..

      Piggybacked from the 12V socket in the center console behind the cup holders.. I don’t use it for anything else and the radio has an inline fuse so it can’t overload the socket..

      @@offroadtv.australia is there a piggyback socket to do this or did you expose the existing wires and tapped the new ones with a soldering iron? Cheers
