Nigeria needs more people like you. I like people who do not only blame others for what goes wrong in their life rather than showing true patriotism by adding something to the prosperity of their country.. In most of your videos I see devotion and honest support for Nigeria. Keep up your excellent work. I wish you more subscribers.
Nice one. This is a very educative video. It's amazing to see the massive prospects in fish farming and agriculture as a whole. God has blessed us with natural resources. We only need to go to work
Nigerian would have gone far like the Kenyans and Ugandas but we have poor follow up up culture. This is first time I am hear this Good news. Please let us keep alive. Thank you for your this exposure.
Panyam fish farm is always one of the places recommended by Google to visit when in plateau sate. Am glad i didn't go when i was schooling in Jos, it would have been empty then, am glad am watching this however, i feel like i have visited it by watching this video. Thanks as always bigwillz
Hi guys, beautiful ponds if they where stocked with fish it will be a paradise for fish eating birds. Birds with feathers but unfortunstely also the birds without feathers
This is mind blowing knowing that there is something like this in Nigeria and North. I once heard about the name of the farm but never knew it was this big.
Beautiful indeed, Fiji had many ponds like these for farmers and institutions like FNU (Fiji National University - Government institution). The current government has forgotten the rich development it brought to the rural people and Agriculture/ Fisheries Schools. At one time, they were selling tilapia fish in bin bags for $10 for half that bag. They also tried with prawns and crabs. This is a great initiative for all districts, and income generating projects for villages or families or youth groups. Tilapia is a good source of protein in the diet. Yes fish usually carry eggs in their mouth, deposit it on a place that is slow or safe to keep and the male will spread the sperm over it, for fertilisation...et is external, so they lay thousands of eggs so there is surety of fertilised eggs, however, they are exposed and prey to predators. Thanks for the awareness in your country. God bless and stay blessed. ☝🏼🙏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇮🇱♥️🇫🇯
I find the guys( both the lady & gentleman)on the farm very knowledgeable about the business and looks like they are even under utilized. A farm like this can meet the fish demand of the whole of Plateau state . I pray they are able to resuscitate the whole of the farm . There are indeed great opportunities all over Nigeria like this massive fish pond that can create employment and help curb importation of things that we can produce locally and cheaper!! Thanks for this discovery. Continue to discover more like the moribund meat processing factory in Bauchi and the Milk Processing in Vom , Plateau state.
I always LOVE your contents. Nigeria is so blessed, but we just don't know how to take advantage of it. Imagine during the 60s and 70s, when agriculture was one of our money maker, and we had invested a lot of money into it. Nigeria would have been one of the food baskets of Africa and the world. But as we all know, fast money from oil, made us to be comfortable, and we abandoned agriculture. Am happy that we are slowly going back to agriculture. Even Dangote said, if he had to start all over again, he would begin with agriculture. That's why he's heavily invested in agriculture. Thanks again for showing us the HIDDEN things in Nigeria, that we are not even aware of.
Chai our people need a new mindset of “Government own” means it’s for we the people. It’s our own so manage it well so that people can gain employment. Nice one!!
I am very impressed with your effort to bring us this video. I applaud their work on the farm too. I pray they make it work. I will have to point out though that the projection of 4.9 Metric Tons is way too small for this kind of land/pond, they can do a lot better. Still great job.
Incorporating the hydroponics system could help keep the water cleaner, more oxygenated, and provide additional food source like vegetables. Also, working with other African countries to collect locust, and fly larvae from dead animals can provide a cheap feed for fish stock.
May have a good episode for you talk to some guy on Messenger said he’s from Zambia Africa has 30 something beehives I’ll ask him about fishponds he said it would be $150 I guess he has enough five or six ponds would really like to know if he is a scammer or not sent me some really cute pictures
@Jacob Hamilton, sorry I didn't really get what you are talking about. I hope you have not paid money to anyone. Can you please explain a bit more. Thank you
Come on people, why don’t you guys invite Francis From first fish farm academy to put things back on track instead of waiting resources away and where are your wealthy businessmen like dangote, obasanjo or maduka etc?
Nigeria is a useless contraption that should be scrapped. It is only in Nigeria where source of income is purposely destroyed and people are left unemployed and poor. This is really heartbreaking.

Why others pond is not filled with water ? Is there no ground water ?
THe place has been abandoned for years, they are only trying to fix the place now. There is water in the area.
This is mind blowing knowing that there is something like this in Nigeria and North.
