But the memories that game created are some of the memories that keep me going. Keep me waking up hoping to have laughs and smiles like that again. Not sure how I would feel if bo2 came out today, it's an experience that I'd have to try for myself. But man skippy this vid was amazing. I also think my “bo2 remake in todays date” was mw2019. I bonded with people, flamed children on cyber attack, played everything the game had to offer, got obsidian on my favorite weapons, and had my escape from reality almost every day for 3 years straight.
Instead of looking back at bo2 all the time, I find myself looking back at all the memories and moments I had in mw2019.
I sold my ps3 and moved on from bo2 in 2017 or so. I had the opportunity to relive the same memories, and I took it.

Easily one of the best videos ever uploaded to RUclips. There are no better words than the way you described the passing of time and reverence of it. This game will always be my heart and soul, and the entire atmosphere of life during that time was different. We will never be able to have an exact replica of what that experience was like in it's prime, simply because times change in all different forms. I will forever fondly remember the moments I've shared with family, friends and by my lonesome constantly grinding to get the highest prestige; making the best looking emblem and getting the highest rounds on every zombies map... no matter how much we hated Die Rise. Thank you for making such a funny, yet well-rounded and respectable tribute to a game that means so much to us & we will never stop cherishing.

Your ending brought tears to my eyes man. I grew up in what I’d say is the golden age of games. The modern warfares, Minecraft around its release, and other great games. I’m sitting here 22 years old almost 23 and every time I try going back to those games I can never get the same sense of enjoyment because when you play a game for new, it’s a beautiful experience but when you go back to it, it’s not the same. But going back to try again always brings that memory of nostalgia that you try to attain again and again. Every word you said in this video I can 100% be on board with, from origins, to the Vanosscrew, to that dirt house. I haven’t felt much joy in my life as of late but seeing this video and knowing that I had that joy back when I did makes me feel that it will get better. Thank you man. I can’t do much but I’ll at least subscribe and like the video.

Life is so different now and that makes me sad, but I can't wait to reflect on this time in my life when I'm 30 or 40 because all the day to day BS will fade away and all that will be left is the playing Ocarina of Time for the first time with my good friend, the times I got high as a kite and laughed until I couldn't breathe, and of course playing Outer Wilds. This video hits so close to home for me. Bo2 is my all time favorite game, the amount of time I sunk into multi-player and zombies probably doesn't even come close to any of the games I've played since then. I remember the sense of pride I felt hitting max prestige on zombies and getting high round games just towering over all of my friends. I could talk about memories from the game all day and still not get tired of it. Thankyou for this video you earned my like and sub 🤧

What a perfect video. This game was my childhood, it was so vibrant and fun and simple. I made some of my greatest memories on it with my friends, endless evening of multiplayer messing about and zombies training. I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you for making a video of feelings from my head!

You seriously made me regret I have never played Black Ops II, and I was a huge fan of the series back in the days.
I was driving to work by bus in 2013 with a friend, who made me realize how huge success that game was, and I was so biased due to futuristic aspects, and a bit different campaign. The thing which was the most important was multiplayer after all. And I was wrong in my judgement. Thank you for your video. I love it.

I really never played Back Ops II until some months ago, but I saw many of my family and friends play it and I kept on trying to know more about it. Now, I know why everyone had fun with this game and finally got a taste of it. Nostalgia hits hard when you look back to more relaxed and happy times, so I really feel this video at a personal level.

Great video! Just came from the MW2/II video, also great video! I'm MW2 guy and prefer a a more simple zombies experience, but I agree with all og thetopics in the video. I don't like futuristics settings, resulting in me not really liking the content in BO2 overall, but the base mechanis for MP I agree were great.
The video itselft is well put together and you "storytelling" is very good. Good tackle of the nostalgia topic, I was born in 98 and can relate alot to all of that trip. Great use of music in the background (also liked the use of hotline in there)
    Great job!

Looking back I relish all the moments me and my childhood friends would play COD together from 2010-15, getting older and having some of those relationships slowly fizzle out for whatever reason really signifies how blissful of a time in my life that was. It sucks that it will never be the same, no more late nights after school or going to each other’s homes to play COD (or any game) all night.

The comment about the game being a time capsule was great. I went to the TST Black Ops 2 throwback tournament this past weekend and had an amazing time but have felt sad missing the old days of playing bo2 with the boys. I think viewing it as a time capsule adds some finality to it
