Chad, can I say from a ladies point of view how you state how all of this is new to you....the tractor, the pond, etc.. that you don't know everything, or even pretend to know everything. Rae is one lucky lady who has a husband who is so willing to listen and learn from others. And doesn't let a ego get in the way. So wonderful! Really enjoy watching your videos. Hi Rae and the boys! From one animal lover to another. God bless! 😊 ❤

Bruce is totally being a NORMAL Buck!!! He's trying to sweet talk Oreo. He's Blubbering. ;) ALSO, I've seen a several people who own goats, give them animal crackers for treats. Might be a good way to lure in the kids to make friends with them.

For Male Goats, yeah that's a normal thing when they're scenting a Female to see if she is in season or not. By the looks of things Oreo might be coming into season and he knows it.

Might mark the eggs you leave under her incase the other hens lay more in her nest, then can remove the fresh ones. So she's not overwhelmed with daily extras. Just a suggestion.

❤❤❤OMGoodness people! The goiter on Ginger is the result of Iodine deficiency - not something to drain, poke or prod at.
Just like in humans it is treatable. For goats it is as simple as giving them iodized salt. I’m sure Chad and Rae will be providing her with some.
I’m happy she is living where she will be taken care of. ❤❤❤

The finale at the house was the best wrap up ever!! GREAT team!! Man it is so good to see you ALL working together like that. I love it.. You had best get moved out to your property to prevent another break in by that bearded monster that already broke in. Know whut I mean VERN?? IMA feared that feller might be dangerous!! LOL I am amazed you got the pond drained so quickly. I was sure that would never happen that well. Way to go! Got a favor to ask Chad. Please keep your pew pews well tuned and lubricated. And make sure all in your family are trained and qualified on each of them. I'm serious. IF, or WHEN, a far eastern country decides to cause serious problems for out country, it is gonna be people like YOU and yours that are gonna be the only REAL defense we have. Hey Chad consider making a water fall from the stream going into the pond could be a cool feature once the house is finished. The other thing is the wading pond for the cows should be past the spillway, most likely your tractor will be sufficient to push up a small dam, put a pvc overflow to keep the level low, the natural slope of the terrain will be your friend, not telling you what to do these are only suggestion to think about.

Chad, the cabin is coming along so quickly! We're 10 weeks into our construction and boy let me tell you I am so ready for it to be over with! With each week that's complete the happier I get. We've had some major construction that has been done. We've had to have two walls completely demoed and rebuilt on the South and West side of the house. When they pulled the old siding off they found old termite damage. The attic had to be shored up, this wasn't found until the new roof was taken off. I am beginning to think we should have just knocked the old farm house down and put a new house in. The next major project after the siding and roofing is complete is the kitchen floor has to be ripped up, sub-floor replaced and then new flooring. I have been trying to get the rest of the house cleaned up and ready to move into as quickly as possible. I'm excited to see your cabins completed! Hopefully we'll be completed and moved into our property before May 1st but I think it will be closer to June. I'm welcoming no rain here so my siding can get put on. I'm just glad that our roof is complete before our rain that's coming this week. We're two years into a drought and the local farmers here said they didn't plant as wheat this year and what they did plant they have lost a third of their crops as of two weeks ago. They're saying that they didn't think if we got rain over the next few weeks it's going to make a difference they're probably not going to see a very good yield this year. The sad part is our country property is a hour from our city property and there's lots of empty fields between the two houses. Hopefully we get some rain soon. Much Love from our family to your family 💞

Thank you for letting us come on this Journey with y’all. I’m with the person who said you should mark her eggs in case another chicken uses her spot to lay more eggs 🥚
I can’t believe you said Fredricka because yesterday I was going to say hopefully it’s a girl and you could name her Fredricka. If it’s a girl you’ll keep Patrick right ? He’s a very handsome bull with his brown leather looking nose. I do wish the little baby goats would let you closer to them. Poor Bruce standing there (starving) and didn’t know which way to go ? Just kidding I know none of your animals are hungry in the least bit. Especially Big Man Bruce. Spruce sure does have a lot of his daddy in him he’s hilarious. And Blue eyes and Oreo look like they were Twins.
Your progress has made a Big difference and before ya know it y’all will be living there and all kinds of things will be happening. Thank you again for letting us see everything you’re doing. Case is your mini-me and Rae is Gorgeous. I wish I was young again. Ugh
