Girl you are doing great with your halo eye. They are not that hard we make them seem hard. You can put your shadow anywhere and how far you want. It's still going to be beautiful.

Since I’m 47, and have somewhat hooded eyes, I always use my nyx glitter glue with my shimmer shades. I find it easier, and lasts longer than if I use a spot of concealer for a halo!

I totally agree that the ucanbe dupe of mercury retrograde (Bubble Nebula I think is what it’s called) is very good! I have no idea how it compares to the Huda, but it is such a fun palette!

I live where we have four seasons. Summer, still summer, Christmas and almost summer. Lucky for me I love summer. October is golden and less humid but still warm enough to not need a sweater or coat. We have had Christmas eve dinner outdoors.
This gave me a video idea! I was thinking about how my Metropolis palette is probably my most used ND palette, but I realized that’s not because it’s my favorite, but because it’s my Most Intriguing. I keep going back to it because I can’t figure it out! Then I thought about what would happen if I started assigning superlatives to my palettes, sort of like the palette tag but with fun and silly categories, like senior superlatives in high school. It could be such a fun video, maybe even a new tag, since those have been popular lately! I’d love to see what creative superlatives you’d come up with!
Please tell us again about your brushes and give us a link in description box. I replayed a few times, but couldn't understand. Wayne Goss makes many of my favorite brushes. I have others that I like too... brushes make a difference :-)

Mandy I had commented on a previous video of your regarding the other copy cat palette company and I said those did not work for me being of a tan skin tone but the alter ego palettes are soooo much better .... Not my favorite but great for a much cheaper alternative to the ND palettes 😍
Thanks for sharing that Graciela!😁 I can see how some of the less pigmented brands would have a harder time showing up on deeper skin. I agree their quality is better than other dupe brands though!

It has been a super hot summer, but I unfortunately start to get depressed at the end of July because August means fall is on the way, I actually love fall, but fall means winter is coming and despise the cold and snow. I am no where near ready for fall. I love this army green shadow. Nice look.

I actually can’t stand summer but here in Southern California where I live, the dry dry heat goes on and on. There’s not even hope for cooler days until November. I don’t allow myself to even THINK about fall for a good long time. My attempts at halo eye looks have been pretty pathetic. That center lighter color just seems to disappear into the darker shades and it ends up looking like a smoky eye which I don’t care for on me. I love the way these eyeshadow shades bring out the prettiest tones in your skin!
*Hi Mandy, I have a Pro Tip for you.. When doing a halo eye on deep set eyes, you may want to avoid running your deep shades through the crease. If you apply them only on the inner and outer corners it will help make your eyes stand out more. When you put the darkness into the crease it recedes your eyes and makes them appear more deeply set. Just a heads up. It can really make a big difference and keep your eyes from appearing smaller.*

This is such an exciting release! I own the ND Metropolis and I love it! But IF I ever use it up i’ll be getting this one. Plus the ND is limited edition.
I'm counting down the days until fall. This heat & humidity are killing me. Moved w/central air & those window units aren't cutting it. Anyway, the look is gorgeous.
I was so excited when I got this but those extremely dark greens and blues were so light and on the eye they look the same. I'm happy with most of the other colors though! Also I don't recommend using a MAC Paint Pot as a primer. I normally use ABH primer with no issue but used MAC for whatever reason and I feel the shades performed worse.
