Please do a video on how to grow lashes more naturally! This video does address serums - however these can be pricey and have potential side affects like you say. Is there anything more affordable, I have heard of castor oil and Vaseline, but is there any more suggestions ❤️
I just use caster oil and rose hip oil. They don’t cause hyperpigmentation, change eye color, and they are so much cheaper. I just use a old mascara wand and brush it through my lashes every night before bed and my lashes are healthier, darker, and longer. I definitely recommend oils rather than an expensive serum. Edit: Not saying that he is wrong at all (cause he is a literally a doctor), but from my personal experience, I do recommend oils
@@nguyenharry6910 You can buy castor oil practically anywhere, online, target, Burlington, Ross, Walmart, ect. And from my use of the castor oil, no it doesn’t cause any bad side effects 👍
Latisse I heard does darken the iris. I heard this first quite awhile ago on the commercial I first recall for this product. It surprised me because they used Brooke Shields as the model. Anyone who has seen Brooks eyes knows she has amazing stunning blue eyes with just a touch of lavender. I found it absurd that she would risk ruining them simply to thicken her lashes, something that can be done in a variety of other ways. She also was always known for her full eyebrows.
Guys: use Aquaphor/Vaseline on the lashline and lashes. To me it's easier to apply than Castor oil. If you use castor oil it's also super effective- just buy an empty mascara tube. Key is to not just brush the ends of lashes but moisturize on the upper and lower lash line where they actually grow. Looks amazing and doesn't hurt your eyes. Obviously be careful since mineral or natural oils can sting. I've noticed MORE moisturised and plump skin since they are meant to hold moisture and plump skin. None of this fat loss bs. Also castor oil/Vaseline bottles tend to be large and cheap. My verdict: with Aquaphor my lashes have grown at least half an inch and I get more compliments!!
Vaseline or other petroleum oil or mineral oil products are found in cold creams and are recommended for anti-aging for eyes. Please don't buy this bs only to encounter weird fat loss and hyperpigmentation in your iris or around the eyes :///
I've been using Liaison lash growth serum for 3 years now and my lashes have definitely grown longer for sure. The only downfall is that if you stop using it the lashes go back to normal length.
Latisse works for me. Does darken the skin around my eyes a bit. I call it my free eye shadow. Haven’t noticed a change of my blue/grey/green eyes thank goodness. Heard that the actual eye color change is permanent.
Mix Castrol oil and coconut oil (or any other oil available instead of coconut oil) apply every day before going to bed to your eye lash and eye brow using any old mascara brush. You'll eventually have thicker and longer eyelash and eyebrow. It's take time but it's a natural way with no side effect as far as I know. If not oil then can use Aloe Vera gel...again it will take time but would eventually work.
Thank you for this short but important video. I wish I had known this before using it. Unfortunately, I did get hyperpigmentation around my eyelids from Latisse.

I have very sensitive eyes and I figured that New Lash works the best. I have definitely seen a difference because my short Asian lashes are invisible. After about 2 weeks my lashes grew longer and when I curled them they looked way longer.
I had that issue at first but now, I just apply it underneath my lashes. Do you know the area in which eyeliner is applied to tightline the eyes? I believe it’s called the water line. You are an awesome bundle of information. Thanks so much for doing this.
Hi where did you buy castor oil? And does it have any side effect like irritation or darken your eye bag?
@@nguyenharry6910 You can buy castor oil practically anywhere, online, target, Burlington, Ross, Walmart, ect. And from my use of the castor oil, no it doesn’t cause any bad side effects 👍
I am definitely not using lash serum anymore! I don't want to darken my hazel eyes!!! 😫
Lol Same
Same- mine are green and I don’t really want to change the color. 👀😩🤷♀️
Please don't buy this bs only to encounter weird fat loss and hyperpigmentation in your iris or around the eyes :///
they are VERY effective! I’ve used lash serums for 4 years now, and my lashes are so LONG!
My eyes are already dark as hell!
No worries here!!!
Lol me too! Good for us lol
Thank you doctor for sharing information
And that’s why I haven’t tried them, because I like my hazel eyes.
Thanks for this alert
Hypertrichiosis is said to be a side effect of prostaglandin drops used in Glaucoma . Cool to use it to the advantage .😀
Yh I work in an eye clinic and some patients on lumigan always love it when they have longer eyelashes as a benefit lol
Absolutely true!
the twist better than any horror movie could pull
Hi! If you don't mind, could you make a video about hair washing and how many times we should wash the hair, please? Thank you! 🌼
Thats a ingredient used in glaucoma drops... That works to control the intra ocular pressure
I've been using Liaison lash growth serum for 3 years now and my lashes have definitely grown longer for sure. The only downfall is that if you stop using it the lashes go back to normal length.
🤔..WOW.?
Latisse works for me. Does darken the skin around my eyes a bit. I call it my free eye shadow. Haven’t noticed a change of my blue/grey/green eyes thank goodness. Heard that the actual eye color change is permanent.
I don’t understand how it can change the eye color it doesn’t make sense. I have blue green eyes I will try
My eyes are literally already black so I’m chill
Mix Castrol oil and coconut oil (or any other oil available instead of coconut oil) apply every day before going to bed to your eye lash and eye brow using any old mascara brush.
You'll eventually have thicker and longer eyelash and eyebrow. It's take time but it's a natural way with no side effect as far as I know.
If not oil then can use Aloe Vera gel...again it will take time but would eventually work.
If theres a lash serum that brightens your eye color id buy that in 2 seconds
Fr Fr my eyes too dark bruh
Me too..If it's extremely affordable
Your lashes after crying too much= ✨✨
“They may actually darken your eye color”
*me with super dark brown eyes already* say less 💳💥💳💥💳💥💳💥
lucky I have hazel eyes
Thank you for this short but important video. I wish I had known this before using it. Unfortunately, I did get hyperpigmentation around my eyelids from Latisse.
I am on day 3 of using Latisse. I wanted to grow my lashes out and then do a lash lift. How long did you use the product before pigmentation occurred, please?
Omg I’ve been using a lash serum lately, now I’m not going to use it ever again! 😳 I have ice blue eyes. I would be so pissed if it darkened my eyes. Glad I saw this video!
Can we get a full video please!
Plus whenever you stop using them your eye lashes will go back to normal 👌🏻
So it's a waste of money
I mean, lots of things are like that though. Is brushing your teeth a waste of money? If you stop, your teeth will go back to being dirty. Some things are worth the repetition!
@@bistitchualbee What website do you order the RapidLash from? I would rather use one that is safe. Thank you.
Castor oil works like a charm without all the side effects. Especially on the brows!
Any suggestions for natural alternatives?
castor oil :) Takes about 12 weeks to notice results though..but no side effects.
@@hb.9164 Thanks. I'm aware of natural oils that can be used, but I still wanted his recommendations, yk how we use these things and they work for a time but in the long run is not healthy 😅😂😂. Not bashing castor oil now, I'm a black woman, and if you know about the products we use it's a staple product, but I just wanted his review of them, especially knowing it will be applied close to the eyes.
@@debonaesimpson3742 I couldn't agree more haha. I'm also looking for a similar product until I see the results I want and then, I'll go back to castor oil to maintain it. 😂
I’m using/have been for the last 4 months Luxros Advanced eyelash serum and eyebrow serum and it’s all natural. It doesn’t have any prostaglandins or prostaglandins analogs in it. I actually just double checked the box to check the ingredients and it doesn’t. I’m really glad too because it works and I really didn’t want to have to stop using it! I got it on Amazon.
@@PiXie232 Thank you very much
I’ve been using Silly George serum for over a year and so far all good results with none of the negatives! just my experience 🤷🏼♀️
Pls do a video about castor oil! I use it for hair growth (lashes and brows) and also as an eye cream. Would love to hear your opinion.
A little update: I stopped using it for a while for my eyelashes because it was irritating the inner corners of my eye :( I used it at night, went to bed, then in the morning I woke up with red inner corners. I'm sad because it did actually make a difference but the irritation is just not worth it.
Maybe I'll try again later....
I used it for like 4 months and saw no difference 😭
what about vaselline?
@@intenseasmr9180 I personally use it to keep my eyelashes and brows from being dry (irritates me a lot lmao) but idk of any side effects or if it actually grows/thickens them, but if you use them in certain ways they can definitely help bring them out and make them seem larger!
@@intenseasmr9180 noooo honey, that is a sure shot way to occluded your lashline and give you a stye.
@@Sophassofa same. The result is more like how well conditioned hair looks. It will nourish your lashes and make them fall out less but castor oil doesn't effectively grow lashes.
I used latisse for yrs until it stopped working. My eyelashes were crazy long and beautiful.
Ok but how do we grow more eye brows?!
@doctorly
Use the serum on your brows. Some brands make serum specifically for brows, as well.
They can also make your eyes look sunken when prolonged use this originated in patients with glaucoma and that’s what they use to treat it then they found the patients to have longer lashes.
And what about eyebrows?
You can also use your lash serum for your eyebrows I just use Vaseline it’s cheap, moisturzing, and effective
I have very sensitive eyes and I figured that New Lash works the best. I have definitely seen a difference because my short Asian lashes are invisible. After about 2 weeks my lashes grew longer and when I curled them they looked way longer.
I’ve been using Careprost (generic Latisse) for 2 months. Eyelashes are longer, irises the same color, eyelids have gotten darker.
I had that issue at first but now, I just apply it underneath my lashes. Do you know the area in which eyeliner is applied to tightline the eyes? I believe it’s called the water line. That’s where I apply it. I also do this on my lower lashes. I was worried that this would increase the chances of darkening my eyes, but it didn’t! Applying it in this way has completely stopped my skin from staining and I find that I can use less product. I’ve been doing this for 2 years now and my iris and scleras are the same exact color. I apply it every other day as opposed to once daily now because after the 4 months mark, you can do this for maintenance, just incase anyone was wondering.
They also melt the fat pads around the eyes, why does no one talk about that!
“Especially green eyes” nope I’m already jealous of my mom, with her light green eyes, while I have a darker shade. I don’t want to darken my eyes any more😭for now my lashes are long, but both my mom and grandma have severely lost their lashes with age...so I have that to look forward fo
Don't you get it he was joking about it? Lol
I have distachiasis, aka 'double eyelashes' the same as Elizabeth Taylor, famous for her huge glorious eyelashes! They cause 'some' issues, but proper preventative care makes sure that they stay healthy, and as old lady when menopause hair loss hits us hard, i appriciate it now;)
Elizabeth Taylor was famous for her violet color eyes !🤩……I never heard about her having long eye lashes 🤔
I am so obsessed with the two lash serum‘s I use. They are so good and work so well, I’m just hoping my eyecolor doesn’t get darker.
which one ?
@@tanyatanu6499 I use grande lash and rapid lash. Either one works amazing but I like to use both🤍
@@KristinaHarePixie thanku so much!!!!
@@KristinaHarePixie Where do you buy these two brands?
@@tanyatanu6499 you’re welcome
Rodan & Fields eyelash boost worked amazing for me!!
Dr. Dray does not recommend these not even latesse
It’s FDA approved - has risks but also has benefits
@@Doctorly yes after doing my research yes sir! Thank you for replying love your channel on here and tiktok! I'm new to the skin care fam!👏🏼🎉🎊
Full video please!
Grande Lashes is the best. 💯
I had a regular patient at a chiropractor where I was a massage therapist who used Latisse, and her eye lashes were SO LONG, they actually were curly!
Latisse did nothing for me but Grande Lash worked very well as long as i continued using it.
Yes they actually do work! Well Grandelash does!!! I use it and sell it at my salon. I only sell things I believe in 😌💖
how to maintain health of lashes especially with naturally long n thick..if possible then pls try to make short .. everyone ignore this topic
I would not recommend grande lash because it has an ingredient that causes fat loss around the eye
Ufff,son muy caros!!!!😢😢😢😢 Doctor,regálate uno porfa!!!!!❤
I use argan oil... it works like magic, the bad thing about it is that it's heavy for the Eyelashes, so I have to curl mine a lot
So what would happen to my green eyes if I use this ?
Castrol oil ,olive oil ,almond oil mix together and apply to lash.
So is it safe ?
