  • No talking, just driving my 290,000 mile Acura NSX around Nelson Ledges! 6/26/21 With Autointerests. This video series is intended to serve as a reference to help learn a track before you go. The laps included should at least approximate a "school line", with this session being my last and quickest of my visit to this historic circuit.

I haven't watched yet (won't be able to until end of the day) but I'm so excited to see this. As a kid and teenager I had been to this track when my dad did ARPCA HPDE events. One time he locked the rear brakes headed towards the little left before the right tight turn prior to the main straight and went through the grass spinning. Ground was wet - got mud splattered inside the car even on the headliner 😂
As an ARPCA driver & instructor myself, I've really got to get to Nelson and finally drive it myself. We don't go there as part of our club's schedule, so I have to figure out a good group to run with.

It's a fun track! I could also 100% see how you could have that happen in T12, lol. If you want more of the history and pretty pictures hopefully you've seen the track feature I did here: ruclips.net/video/BgQfVz-DZOE/видео.html

Very smooth and consistent driving from which I should learn but when your on track with other NSX's there is the desire to at least keep up as the 1991 car is on paper usually the slowest. Thoroughly enjoyed the great camera work. Many thanks.

Thanks. I wish my lines through the carousel had felt more consistent 😅. Definitely a few places I never worked up to really finding what was possible, but then again, it doesn't count for anything, I only had 4 sessions, and needed to drive the car home...

@@LapoftheWorld where is home? Not too far I hope! I am up east of CLE near Painesville and going down this summer for the American muscle package from Extreme Experiance. Looking forward to it. Need to melt some snow first.

@@chrisa9373 I drove up from Knoxville-ish Tennessee. You're basically next door by comparison. Extreme Experience are a good bunch, I've driven with them once out in Oklahoma. That should be a fund day.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. My PB last year (‘23) was 1.18.32 in a ‘23 GR86.
