The stage themes are sooo good. Honestly if anybody isn’t liking the sf6 ost. Listen to the stage themes, there are a lot more good stage themes than good character themes.
Very good video, both on topic and editing. It never occurred to me that despite the very detailed backgrounds, I was never distracted by them, and would have no issue focusing on the parts of the game that are important. I guess this is a perfect example of something done so well that it goes unnoticed, but if it was done poorly, would be a huge talking point.
@@ricniclas my favorite stages usually tend to be ones that try to be a bit more dynamic or scenic. Some that come to mind are Terry's stage in MotW, the white house stage in GG Strive, From the few other SF games ive played some of my favorites are English manor, Suzaku castle, overpass, the construction stage in SF4, the flying stage in SFV. I'm sure there's others that have escaped my thoughts right now but i generally do like it when stages try to do more than just be a background for the fighting. weather that is to hold some significance for the story, a character, or the setting, try to add some kind of dynamic to it, or to triple down on the scenery of the stage itself to set it apart.
SF have always been the master of stage arts. In fact, of course, the Japanese devs has crazy imagination in art style, especially in fighting games and JRPG. This is why their fighting games are just better than the likes of the modern Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct and so on.
Funny how opinion works, I hate the Macho arena, but I love basically every other stage. Fete Foraine, Metro City, Genbu Temple, London... all of them are great in my opinion
thank god overwatch invented countries, it was so weird back in the sf2 days when all the stages were just glowing white voids.

I LOVED YOUR VIDEO! such a cool breakdown of the stages, makes me understand a bit more why I like them this much
Also, I didn't find your video about menus and character lighting, would you mind sending a link?
Thank you! I think it's this one but it's pretty old lol ruclips.net/video/Uxyu61BSzVM/видео.html

6s stages are fine. They do their job, but none of them are anywhere close to my favorite stages in fighting games.
What are your favorites?

I can excuse "HyDrocity" but I draw the line at "MeTrocity"

The stages in sf6 are terrible. The JP Arena and Macho Ring are the only cool ones.
Thats an opinion but also a wrong opinion. Have you seen akuma's stage, shit's the most beautiful fighting game stage of all time
