Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland visits the University of Toronto to highlight Budget 2024 investments in research and scholarships.
She is joined by Gabriel Miller (president and CEO of Universities Canada), Wasiimah Joomunl (executive director of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations), Chad Gaffield (CEO of U15 Canada), Kaitlin Kharas (executive director of Support Our Science), Melanie Woodin (dean of the faculty of arts and science at the University of Toronto), Alán Aspuru-Guzik (professor of chemistry and computer science at the University of Toronto and CIFAR AI Chair at the Vector Institute), and Frédéric Bouchard (dean of the faculty of arts and sciences at the Université de Montréal and chair of the Advisory Panel on the Federal Research Support System).
