The only thing this video is wrong on was the system comes with a 480 watt power supply. I love mine, great price for the features it comes with. And yes. it can be upgraded.
Alex Alvarez pretty certain this actually has a 380 watt psu, not 480. so nah, it probably wont power that. upgrade this prebuilt to a 500-550 watt psu
The ONE thing I wanted to know, is the outside of the case the black and silver “PLASTIC” or “METAL” or one metal and one part plastic and how sturdy I know they build around a solid METAL/STEEL shell but the outside usually cheap plastic, this case though?…. Thanks, NEW SUB! ....
did you have an issue with your CPU boosting? I tried using ryzen master and crashed mine had to re install windows. I have the 2700 not the x but mine stays at 3.2 ghz any ideas it doesn't boost?
I just got one almost the same as this and the power supply and only 2 memory slots are the only things I don't like about it. I do a lot of 3D modeling and rendering and it works great for that purpose. Good video and thanks for posting.
Not sure if anyone will see this post but hopefully someone can reply? I bought this exact same model from Amazon last week for $699. Computer works great and all but the fan makes an insane whirring noise for about 5-10 seconds at a time whenever I have more than 4-5 Chrome Tabs open or if I open two RUclips videos in different tabs. I haven't even tried to run a game on it yet since the fan goes insane whenever is senses any kind of "workload". I can't mess around with the fan settings on BIOS as the UEFI setting is extremely limited. Any help or advice? My drivers are all up to date and it's obviously not dusty at all given how the computer is brand new. But there's just something about the fan noise that doesn't put me at ease. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
grtoocool sounds like the fan speeds up at load. Maybe the fan is bad or something. I didn’t notice a sound that stood out when gaming or anything other than normal fan noise. I would either exchange it or open it and try a different fan if you don’t want to go through the hassle of returning. Fan should be super cheap to replace. The stock fans weren’t that great anyway.

Well evidently Costco is not selling this Dell 5676 Inspiron anymore. Costco seems to do this a lot. Only have sales on items for a short period and then stop stocking it altogether. Sams does the same thing. I bought a “Surface go”with 128gb nan and 4gb ram with Pentium cpu and keyboard cover bundle for $399. Wife likes it so much, gave it to her and went to get another the same week. It was gone and not even in online stock. All they had was a Surface Pro bundle for $899.

This is a great PC for 650$ ...in due time,all you have to do is upgrade the PSU to something better,like a corsair,seasonic or bequiet 500+ W ish PSU and a better cooler,something like a 212 Evo which is one of the best known air coolers around,and it costs like 20$. Then youd have a really great gaming computer. Even a year or two down the line,2700x is going to be an amazing CPU,all you have to do is buy a better GPU.

Avery Haywood its not dells issue its AMDs fault, the cpu only boosts higher than 3.2 during single core workloads, during multicore it only goes upto 3.2 ghz. Not much of a problem for me as I almost never run into cpu bottlenecks on this pc, usually gpu bottlenecks
All dell 5675 and a Dell 5680 all have 460 watt PSU's, Note: I run a ( Dell) GTX 1080 no problem on the 460 watt In my 5675 ,But might upgrade psu before i do any overclocking, Dell wants $264 for a refurbished 850 watt PSU that's plug and play,you won't find a straight answer any where what aftermarket PSU will work without alterations on sites.
You can buy this PC right now for 860 dollars and it will do everything you need for 1080p gaming, also you don't need more than 16gb of ram for gaming.
ARM IX u can add a 2080 no problem, but the PSU is only 460w which isn’t enough. If you really want to install a 2080 then also purchase a 550w psu or better first and you should be fine (Side note: If your only planning to play 1080p something like a 1660Ti will work perfectly and it will work with the stock psu)

The Dell way better than the HP Dell mobo has 2 GPU slots and 2 M.2 slots and a better GPU and cooling system. For current price of $699 it's a buy. The comparable HP I had had a cheesy mobo cheesy case and a joke video card with no cooling shroud.
I have the same dell inspiron 5676 with the AMD Ryzen 5 quad core CPU at 3.2 GHz. Is there any way you can overclock this type of CPU? I'm not really sure if you can overclock on this motherboard. Also the BIOS on this model is kinda weird. I can't clock the CPU in BIOS or do anything with the CPU. All you see is the Information about the CPU! Which is pretty dumb for a gaming PC?! Yea but what happens if u break ur shit while building it? I mean if ur considering buying a prebuilt then u obviously don't know anything on building so that "1000 dollar budget" might turn into 1300 plus the whole days of time wasted when you could've just bought a prebuilt and use that.

Would be nice to have an empty bay for an optical drive if the buyer wants to put one in later. Having an external USB one is not ideal.

Dumbass RTX is for nvidia not amd
I have the same dell inspiron 5676 with the AMD Ryzen 5 quad core CPU at 3.2 GHz. Is there any way you can overclock this type of CPU? I'm not really sure if you can overclock on this motherboard. Also the BIOS on this model is kinda weird. I can't clock the CPU in BIOS or do anything with the CPU. All you see is the Information about the CPU! Which is pretty dumb for a gaming PC?! If you can overclock can you please tell me. Thanks!!!

Yea but what happens if u break ur shit while building it? I mean if ur considering buying a prebuilt then u obviously don't know anything on building so that "1000 dollar budget" might turn into 1300 plus the whole days of time wasted when you could've just bought a prebuilt and use that.
@@drainthesqueakedjkdod9876 Nowadays PC building isn't that hard. May need some skill in the wiring section but the rest are just plug and go. You can do it in an hour max.
