Hi Coach, I'm a middle-blocker. It would be interesting to see the analysis of a "shorter" MB. I feel like Simon's ability is strictly connected to his amazing body features.
Hi coach, a suggestion for an analysis I have is on Wallace or maybe Mikhaylov as both were considered some of the best opposites even later on in their careers
'Kento Miyaura' Hi coach! I'm a left-handed opposite, so I was always a big fan of Nishida's and Miyaura's gameplay. And since you already did an analysis of Nishida...Could you do Kento Miyaura next??
Coach, I would like to ask for you to do someone like Ivan Zaytsev or Bartosz Kurek. 2 of my favorite players right now and I would really like to see an analysis on them.
Why do you want a video on what's probably the weakest setter at the national team level? What would be say? Look how much of a liability he is for his team?
@@user-iu1ru1qz7u Is he really the weakest. Why do you think Japan have been so successful. There are tons of setters just like him. Same height but still gets the job done well.
@mixg4mer698 successful? They never win when it matters. He is by far the weakest setter at the pro national level. The guy is 5'8, he's every outside hitter's dream lmao. All the other setters at that level are around a foot taller, which makes them infinitely better blocks and gives them greater reach to get balls that are crossing over the net, watch cristensson or gianelly turn an over pass into a perfect set. All other setters are also stronger servers. The guy loses in every metric. Sekita is good, he's the best Japan has. He is also the weakest national team setter. Two things can be true at once.
How does being the shortest setter make him more skilled than the other setters? That's like claiming the slowest sprinter is the most skilled runner. A glaring weakness is not a strength.
Coach, would you please do an analysis of Namir from the Dutch national team. I think that he would be a good analysis given that he can be both setter and hitter, not mention his amazing serve.
Hi coach, as a setter looking to learn and improve, I would like to see a study on Masahiro Sekita, since I am on the shorter side of setters (5'4) but I do have a higher vertical.
Hi coach as a left handed outside hitter i would like to see a video about the greek outside hitter Dimitris Rizopoulos a great outside with incredible passing skills and a solid arm swing
coach, i was watching japan playing that third place match and a player that caught my attention was kento miyaura, his game is so beautiful to see, but at the same time he is very strange because of his torso, always moving, would be cool a player analysis from him
i feel like this is a great series with bad execution. I really like the live analysis part and i feel like there is good stuff said there but most of the things said can be applied to every single professional hitter. (really tall, good foot work, stupid shoulder talk?, reach, athletic, etc.) Sure thats what makes him great but every professional middle is capable of that. What really separates him is his consistency on the block and knowledge of what the setter is going to do. What makes him so good is not just that he scores points, its that you have to stay on him and gameplan for him so he doesn’t drop 25 points on you and while he’s at that ur pins probably both have double digits. Also he is one of the best servers in the world. The value he holds is more than footwork. Foot work and shoulder movement is the minimum required of a pro, what separates him is everything else
I think you've missed the point in a lot of ways. First of all, the points about footwork and blocking technique are mentioned specifically because they are required basics of being a good middle, this series is partly educational for aspiring players. Secondly, all of the things he mentioned contribute to blocking consistency. Being tall, being fast off the floor, having good footwork all allow a blocker to get to the block later and still get a good touch, and being able to get a good touch in more situations is what creates blocking consistency. In attack, having court vision, being able to hit a variety of angles, not requiring a lot of space for an approach, and having a fast armswing are all things that allow a middle to be consistent on offense, and being able to attack successfully in many situations is what makes a middle a good decoy. In addition, most middles only have a few of these things, most are tall, many have fast armswings, some jump super high, few can hit super extreme angles, and almost none have all of these things.
His shoulder and swing breakdown is solid information. Understanding an opponent's swing mechanics is very useful in defending against him. The only thing I'd be critical of is the big vertical claim. He's not jumping that high most of the time. He's just huge.
Hi Coach. Watching from the Philippines. Can you do a video on Ran Takahashi's cut shot? I am particularly amazed by that one every time he or someone else does that

Hey Coach, thanks for the great vid. Would love to see you dive into some serving in pro volleyball in the next video. :)
Hi Coach, I'm a middle-blocker. It would be interesting to see the analysis of a "shorter" MB. I feel like Simon's ability is strictly connected to his amazing body features.
One of my favorite middles to watch especially since he’s just a solid middle in almost all scenarios
Hi coach, a suggestion for an analysis I have is on Wallace or maybe Mikhaylov as both were considered some of the best opposites even later on in their careers
Love this series! Can't wait for all the other great phenons of volleyball you'll be bringing.
I was JUST going through your channel, thinking about when you would post a new video! Thanks for the content coach!!
Next on darlan Souza ...Brazil OH

Nimir is a monster, possibly the best RS out there.
Thank you! So good to see some MB content
'Kento Miyaura'
Hi coach!

Maybe a video about ZAKSA or JW block-defense system work?
Great video as always!!
Can we get a middle that is not as charismatically gifted 😅😅 so we can compare more;
Can you do a video on Simone Giannelli next...in my opinion he is one of the best setters there is
Coach! can you masahrio sekita? I think he is the most 'skilled' setter in the world because he is short but a very good player.
How does being the shortest setter make him more skilled than the other setters?
That's like claiming the slowest sprinter is the most skilled runner.
A glaring weakness is not a strength.

Thanks for a new video coach.
one of my favorites middle! hey coach you do an analysis about matt anderson in the future¿? you have a interview with him and this was amazing!

Coach, would you please do an analysis of Nimir Abdel-Aziz but only the Opposide position please?
coach, i was watching japan playing that third place match and a player that caught my attention was kento miyaura, his game is so beautiful to see, but at the same time he is very strange because of his torso, always moving, would be cool a player analysis from him

Fair criticism 👏
