Linnie! Thanks for the mention of my "fits in the palm of the hand" piece! I wish I could show you in person. I'm looking forward to seeing what you put on the top of your new wooden box! And Roberta, your Peace on Earth is looking fab! Enjoy stitching those urns - I've always loved them. -Anna
Thank you Anna. It is a very darling stitch. I love watching what you girls are doing. It makes me curious. Haha. Hugs to you both.
Hello ladies! It’s not just your videos playing more commercials. I noticed after the first of the year all videos I listen to have upped their amount of playing time. It’s annoying but would not detour me from watching you. So enjoy your channel!! Thanks ladies so much for sharing ❣️
Hi. Glad you are back. I missed you. I love your knitting projects. The sweater you have on is so nice. It fits you perfectly. Your cardigan that you pieced together is so nice. The gussett idea is so brilliant. I don't know how you do everything. You must not sleep. Lol. I understand respite. I am caregiver for my husband. I have 2 retreats I go to every year. Wish I could do more but it is possible right now. Sometimes just going out to lunch with my crafty friends gives me a break. Take care.
Totally enjoyed this episode. Really appreciate how you both share. I didn’t attend the Sampler Symposium this year and can’t wait for the retreat charts to be released next year. I still have a lot to stitch from the 2024 Symposium. I’m also doing the WIPGO challenge, so far January has be successful. Good wishes for happy stitches.
Lyn Lee check your top row of your birthday sampler. One flower is missing a leaf. Love your progress
Oh gosh. Thank you. It’s so easy to miss it when you are up close. Thanks Cindy
Thank you for sharing your time, great recap of the Attic retreat. Made me wish I had been there! Loved the kitty cameo this time too!
You ladies are such a pleasure to watch. I have learned so much from you.
You are so kind Jane! We are always happy to share what we've learned along the way.
Roberta so glad you went to the symposium, I enjoyed your video. You are such a lovely lady. It was sad to hear of Jean’s passing. I certainly love living thru your floss tubes with Linnie.
Thank you Catherine for joining us. We are so happy to share with you. Hope to visit again soon. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Catherine! Yes, I feel very fortunate to have attended Sampler Symposium and am so glad Jean Lea was able to stop by briefly and see how successful it was.
Thank you girls. So fun to see you both. Love you.
Thank you Katherine. Have a great week and we will see you soon. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤
I enjoy your videos so much! You both have inspired me to work on Christmas stitching on the 24th and 25th of each month. I'm doing "Peace on Earth" also. The house is turning out beautifully but that morter is really something!
My daughter called me on FaceTime while I was watching your floss tube and said, “Is it weird that I know what you’re watching and who is talking? It’s the SABLE Stitchers and that’s Linnie!”. 😂😂❤️. I’m lucky that she has gotten into stitching and shares my love for good flosstube videos! As always, I enjoyed my visit with you. Love all your projects! ( 🦅 fan forever but my second favorite team is the Chiefs because I like Taylor’s boyfriend. Hope it’s a great game!)
Hi Siobhan. It’s wonderful to hear from you and that your daughter is stitching. I used to stitch with my mom every Sunday. Our favorite were the P Buckley Moss patterns and Prairie Schooler. I’m so excited for the game. Our second favorite are the Eagles so I know it will be a great game. Have fun and happy stitching. Tell your daughter I said hi. ❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️
I love that! My daughter-in-law has expressed an interest in learning but right now she is so busy with work and two kiddos. Thank you for spending time with us and go Chiefs!
Love you two.
Hi Angela. We love sharing with all you all. Thank you for visiting with us. Hugs ❤❤❤❤
It was such a treat to see your current wips and hear all about your retreat recap. Thank you for another wonderful video. Happy New Year and Happy Valentines Day, ladies.
Thanks so much Lorraine! We will be back before you know it since it took so long to upload the last video!
Great flosstube again, always enjoy seeing what you are working on and what your plans are. The recap of Sampler Symposium was great, for those of us who never get chance to go to something like that in the US it is always of great interest to us when people who did go take the time to tell and show us about these events. The news of Jean's passing today must be such a shock, especially for Roberta, having just seen her so recently. It is such a great loss to the stitching world. I am a relatively new stitcher but found The Attic and Jean pretty quick on the internet and watched a lot of their flosstubes. Even in such a short time she had an influence on my work.
Hi Phyllis. So nice to visit again. Yes our community is mourning by Jeans passing. I haven’t been able to go to the Attic either but was able to meet her at Quilters Station. I have a wonderful story about Jean I want to share on our next video. She has touched so many people in her life and made us a better person by knowing her. Take care ❤❤❤❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you- I learn from you, I get inspired from you, you make me laugh and smile. Thank you- you both are fantastic!!
Bonnie. What fun and kind words. You make us so happy because we really enjoy sharing with you. Take care and always happy stitching to you ❤❤❤
Thank you for the awesome shout out Linnie!!! Great video.
Lori. You are so sweet and I love your flosstube. I found a book folding tutorial on how to make a heart. It was so cute. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Another delightful visit with you. I watch a lot of Flosstube and I feel that the last 2 weeks RUclips must have changed their policies because I have seen many more ads than usual. Happy Stitching! Thanks for the Sampler Symposium recap Roberta. Thanks for the chuckle Linnie. I’m working on my Blessing Sampler, a HATS pattern, Kathleen Dempsey. I’m also doing the year long SAL (started in November) with Caroline of Evernote and Mommalovesyougb, Hannah Attwater.
Hi Renee. This is my first WIPGO. I am working on two projects three days each just like you. I did pretty well January. One didn’t get much love because silly me i misplaced the floss in another bag and didn’t find it until they called February. I’ll try to work on it this month. I think I will like it and maybe even get some finishes. I am also doing Christmas every day and I just love working on Christmas. I hope to do 25 in 25 but really focusing on wips. We will see. Market is coming… take care and enjoy all your stitching. ❤❤❤
Beautiful finishes!! How nice all the gifts Roberta received at the symposium.
Thank you for watching Laura. Are you have lovely weather. I’m so ready for spring. Take care and happy stitching. ❤❤❤
@ Hi Lonnie!! Yes we are in summer, so very sunny days!! Regards 🥰
Just hopped on to say Hi from the UK. I've been watching you a few times & so glad I found you! You are one of my regular treats. I also immediately went off the look up the war time switchboard operators and found the Netflix info. In case anyone else here is interested the movie is called The Six Triple Eight. I'll be putting it in my watch list for certain. Thanks so much girls, love your channel!
Hi Moira. Thank you for joining us and your kind words. It is a great movie and highly recommend it. Have a great week and hopefully will be visiting soon. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
@@linnieisenburg520 ❤
I watched that movie. It was great! I don't know there is a movie about the switchboard operators, but the book is called Switchboard Soldiers by Jennifer Chiaverini.
Hello ladies! I'm stitching on Teresa Kogut's, "With Thy Hands".
Hi Doreen. What a great stitch. I have so many of her patterns I could probably stitch them all year have fun and we will visit soon. ❤❤❤
I can only imagine what a retreat would be like. Thank you for sharing. I bought my 1st sampler pattern around Thanksgiving last year, because it seems all the rage. It still lives in the bag though...😊
You both are just so much fun! Thank you for all you do to make these flosstube videos. Thanks, Roberta, for your retreat recap. It was very fun. 👏 Linnie, I LOVE your bedtime stories. ❤ They make me laugh! I am working on No Time Like the Present by Modern Folk Embroidery for my son. He liked the pattern so we picked out the DMC colors together - 823 dark navy and 921 copper and I'm stitching it on a white 18 count Aida. Every time I take a photo and text to my son to show him my progress, he apologizes and says, "I'm sorry, Mom, I didn't know this was going to be so big!" I just laugh and tell him it's OK, I enjoy stitching it. I started it on April 2, 2024 and I estimate that I am about half done. I have stopped and stitched Jan-Sept monthly patterns from Crocette a Go Go's Window of Time series when I need a break. And I've also had two carpal tunnel surgeries this last summer and 8 weeks ago my 2nd back surgery! Can't stop this gal! 😃 GO CHIEFS!! 🏈🏆
Hi Patricia. Wow. You are a great mom for stitching that pattern. I admire that. Thank you for sharing with us. We enjoy doing our flosstubes and able to chat with you all. I’m sure it will be gorgeous when you are finishing. I also love Crocetta a gogo. She has some of the cutest Christmas patterns. You can’t stop a stitcher if she wants to stitch. You go girl. I’ll try to find another bedtime story before next video. Take care and happy stitching. ❤❤❤
What a special gift that will be for your son! And he will appreciate it all the more knowing how much time it took to stitch it! I love Jacob's designs and have one I have wanted to start for so long. Maybe this year? Sorry you've had some health set backs. I hope the surgeries are behind you and you can concentrate on doing what you love this year.
Great to see you both today on this video .Roberta I just got done reading the Jennifer Chiaverini book Switchboard Soldier excellent book all her books so good just finishing Mrs lincolns sisters I think I have read about 28 of her books already.Enjoy you both soo much
It was lovely meeting you you at Sampler Symposium ❤️
Hi Anna. Thank you. Hope we get to meet sometime. ❤❤❤❤
Anna, always nice to see you! Wish we had more time to visit.
Hi girls. Love your shares of cross stitch. Last year I just picked up cross stitch again now that I’m retired @ 74 years old. I found flosstube, which I love to watch you girls. I saw that primitive gatherings barn kit is sold out. It would look good with finish word.
Happy new year. Love the storied from Linnie!!
Hi Bonnie. Welcome back to stitching. It took me a few years also. I was a cross stitcher and then a quilter and now back to stitching. I will be 74 in a few days. Happy birthyear. The barn patterns are so cute. Too bad the kits are out. Maybe you can buy the pattern and use you own wool. Thanks for the suggestion of a word. I’ll think on that one. Take care and so happy you’re u are enjoying stitching again ❤❤❤❤
I could probably make my own barn in my garage. I have made wooden Christmas ornaments on the bandsaw for presents.🪚
Roberta, that was a great recap of your Attic retreat! I enjoyed hearing about it, and I'm very happy for you that you got to go and clearly had a fabulous time😊. Linnie...I think I'm one of your people: stitching over housework, and stitching until the wee hours of the morning 😂. Happy stitching, ladies! Hope things warm up for you!
Hi Maureen. I love late night stitching. It’s so quiet. I worked on Amish Country by Twin Peaks till 3:00 Enjoy your day ❤❤❤❤
Thank yo Maureen. It was such a special event and I appreciate your kind words. I don't mind the cold. It's a good excuse to stay in and stitch.
I so enjoy your flosstubes, especially at the end of the day. I do want to say that a few weeks ago you and enabled me with a lovely stitch-a Sampler Roll by Samplers Remembered. When I saw it, just had to go and buy it. It took forever cause of snow to finally get it. I hope you will start yours again soon. Sorry I don’t know how to add photo, but when I learn, I’ll post the photo.
Thank you Rene. Enable and being Ensabled is part of our motto. Happy stitching and please share when you can. We live to see and share your photos. ❤❤❤
Ladies I don't mind commercials in your videos. Your visits are so wonderful and full of joy for stitching, life, funny lame jokes, laughter, ideas. I appreciate you both much, thank you.
Thank you Linda for watching and you sweet words. We sure enjoy sharing with you. Have a great couple of weeks and see you soon. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
It is always such a joy to spend time with you! Thank you for all you do!
Thank you Nancy for watching and your kind words. We enjoy sharing with you. Happy stitching ❤❤❤
Thank you for spending time with us Nancy! We appreciate you!
Love your flosstube as always. What I have noticed when watching flosstube is that when you start it, do not stop watching, or you will have to watch commercials. I am currently working on Egg Collector.
I have that one too. Thanks for reminding me. I forgot all about it. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day ❤❤❤❤❤
Another wonderful video ladies, you are both a pleasure to watch and I always enjoy what you share. I hadn't noticed adds in your videos, although in this one there were a few. I was watching while on my treadmill so I wasn't able to fast forward through them like I do on my computer. The good news though, they were quick and none were 5 minute infomercials, so that was a bonus!! I enjoyed the Attic recap, so interesting, thank you.
Thanks for the feedback and kind words Kathy! I also like to watch videos while on the treadmill, but I do that at the gym or our neighborhood clubhouse. Sometimes I can't help but laugh out loud which is a bit embarassing!
Roberta: I was the newbie sitting one person away from your right side at the Attic Sampler Symposium. I gave you the pin wrapped in white tissue with red hearts (compliments of my 10 yr old granddaughter who likes to wrap presents!). I was so overjoyed to be at the Attic and see Jean again. I’d met her at a Quilter’s Station retreat a few years ago. Today I am grieving with all the stitchers as we have said goodbye to her. What a beautiful woman and phenomenal needle worker.
Thank you Bonnie for sharing. Happy stitching ❤❤❤
Wonderful episode as usual. Thank you so much.
Thank you Lalena. Happy Stitching ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this beautiful flosstube episode….. great stitching…. Have a nice weekend 🧵🪡🤗👋
We appreciate you spending some time with us. We love to share and enable and hope to leave you with a smile. Have a great day and happy stitching. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you both for awesome video. Enjoyed seeing your finishes, WIPs, and upcoming projects. Roberta loved seeing the retreat photos and hearing the stories. I especially loved hearing your story Linnie. God bless you both. Stay warm and safe. ❤
Yay!! I love when your new videos are released!!! Linnie I love your No Winter Lasts Forever finish, you should get that framed pronto! 😀😍 And your Baby It's Cold Outside is coming along beautifully....I finished mine last month and I framed it in a frame I thrifted and I love it so much!! I changed the house to a variegated blue to match the color of our house. Roberta, thank you so much for sharing your experience and notes from the symposium!!! Fascinating!!! I am so sure it was just wonderful to take it all in!
Well, I still love you gals even if my beloved Buffalo Bills lost on Sunday 😭💔 My 11 yr old son is the only one in our home who is a Chiefs fan so he is quite happy, as I'm sure you both are 😊 Have a great week and stay warm!! Oh and happy stitching by that fireplace!!!
Thanks for watching today. I took my Blackbird Merry Christmas to the framer last week and No Spring is the next one to be framed. I can’t wait to look at frames. I wish my Baby It’s cold was more done. It’s on my WIPGO for February so I will get a chance to do more. I would love to see your finish with the blue house. I bet it’s beautiful. That game was a nail biter and I’m sure this one will be too. I don’t like when you know someone will lose. I just try to enjoy the moment and try not to chew off my fingernails. Haha that’s so cute your grandson is a fan. I love grandsons. Take care and happy stitching. ❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️
Love love your flosstubes. It brings me such joy!
Thank you Sheena. We enjoy sharing with you. Take care and as always happy stitching ❤❤❤
I watched last night but had to come to my computer to comment today. Loved the video, so many awesome projects! Really enjoyed the recap SS,it looks like an incredible time. Thanks for the mention too, made my day. Happy Stitching.
So happy to visit with you and appreciate your kind words. Have a great couple of weeks and happy stitching ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Always good to catch up with you Lisa! You are so talented and I know viewers will appreciate seeing your work!
Always enjoy watching your videos ❤
Thank you Lisa. happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much Lisa!
Loved looking at all the things you are both stitching. This is year three or four of WIPGO for me. The first year I set a goal of 10 days for each project and I felt like I had no time for other things. So then I reduced it to 5 days next year 3 days and this year 3 days each. Since I did the 24 in 2024 I have lots of things to work on this year. I tried to pick things I thought I could finish and get them off my board. For January I finished one and got a good bit of progress on the second. I decided to do 25 in 2025, so now I will have lots more for my WIPGO board next year.
I love hearing how everyone approaches WIPGO. I am so excited to be touching some things that have long been neglected. I just want to keep stitching on all of them though!
First things first…Go Chiefs! Always a treat to watch your videos. Thanks for sharing all your WIPs, finishes, etc. and keep doing what you do.😊
Thank you Mary for watching today. It’s a treat to visit with you all. Take care and happy stitching. Last weeks game was a nail biter. I’m sure this one will be too but GO CHIEFS!!!!! ❤🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️
Yes, it's been another amazing season for them and we are lucky to be able to have this experience!
Always love your recaps of retreats, Roberta! You always give one of the best~thank you!
Hi ladies! I really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful work you two are doing and seeing all the goodies from The Attic. I wish I had been able to attend, but that work thing interfered. As you can tell I am watching this after Jean's passing in to heaven and I am so glad that you were able to see her in person one last time. She was an inspiration to us all and so sweet and kind. She inspired me to stitch on 56 count with those beautiful models in her shop. Hopefully her legacy will live on for many years to come. Today, I am going to try and video a WIP parade if RUclips will cooperate. It has been an adventure getting them to upload lately. Yay! The Chiefs won!!!! I was hoping they would!!! I know you are over the moon, Lennie!
Hi Dottie. I haven’t been able to go to the Attic but I have a lovely story about Jean’s kindness I will
share next flosstube. What a caring person. She is surely teaching all the angels to stitch on 56 count. Good luck on your you tube. I’m so glad Roberta is our guru. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤LETS GO CHIEFS SUPER BOWL LIX!!!!!!!
Darn work! But nice to have a way to pay for all the fun things we enjoy. I will check out your video! Technology is great when it cooperates.
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers yes, work does help to pay for the retreats. Just hate I had to miss Symposium. Looks like it was great!
Looks like you had a wonderful time at the retreat Roberta. Always look forward to hearing who was there and what you learned and of course love the pics. Oh Lennie, those bedtime stories are the best. Even had to have my hubby come in and listen to the last one about the lady who got the email from her belated husband. I think I'm going to start writing these in a book so I can tell them when I get together with my girlfriends. Love you both. ♥❤ Hugs to that sweet little Pepper kitty! 😻Go Chiefs!! 🏈
Thank you Pat. I want to go to the Attic at least once. I agree. I love to see the other stitchers and designers. What a treat. Thank you for liking my bedtime stories. I can’t remember how that started but I enjoy finding them. I always tell a little
Joke to my doctors when I go in. It leaves them with a smile and that’s what I hope it does for you. Smiling is a great gift to share. My mom always told me if you see someone without a smile give them one of yours. Who knew? It’s going to be another nail biter of a game. GO CHIEFS!!! I have to stitch or I will chew my nails. Haha. Have a great couple
Of weeks and visit again soon ❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️
Thank you for the kind words Pat! I know there will be a lot of recaps out there but everyone takes away something different.
Thanks for the entertainment (and the singing near the end 🥰) It is so beautiful to see all the wonderful stitched pieces and to hear a little about the Sampler Symposium ❣️ Until next time Happy Stitching with Greetings from Dresden 🇩🇪💞
Hi Anika. Thank you for sharing time with us today. We enjoy spending time with you. I’m enjoying my after midnight stitching and watching flosstube. Happy stitching to you. ❤❤❤❤
I forgot I was going to edit that out and skipped over it. I hope it wasn't too awful, yikes!
So lovely to see you back from the Attic with all your lovely haul!! Love the Valentine display so much! Your Stitchery project looks fabulous Roberta! :)
I forgot to mention I appreciated your advice on needles. That was so helpful. The embroidery is like a little piece of art coming to life as you stitch, so really appreciate your sharing this resource. ️❤️
@ Roberta I am delighted you are enjoying it - I must admit, it looked fantastic on your FT up close 😀🙌✨ it must be the only chart I don’t have in my basket can u believe?!! 🧺😆
Always fun watching you two! Linnie, so many fun Xmas stitches. I am also still stitching a couple Santas. I want them done. Linnie, I enjoy watching your Chiefs play football, but I am definitely rooting for the EAGLES! 🦅🦅🦅 I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs. I enjoyed seeing all of the lovely samplers and hearing all about your trip, Roberta. Such fun!
Thanks for watching today. We really enjoy sharing. I’m so sad football season is coming to an end. Both my husband and I love football. It’s going to be a great game and rooting one more time. I wish your EAGLES and our CHIEFS a great game. I’m sure it will be a nail biter. Enjoy Super Bowl snacks. I have to stitch to keep my hands busy. Happy stitching ❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈
I'm sure it will be an exciting game. I envy Jason Kelce; he said he will be happy no matter which team wins. Thanks for your sweet words about the retreat recap!
The laddies that work at the Attic are all wonderful love them all ❤and the store is awesome ❤
What fantastic finishes ladies! Roberta, I love your tiered tray with all the smalls! Roberta, I enjoyed hearing your review of Sampler Symposium and how much fun you had! What a fantastic retreat, glad you were able to attend and enjoy! You received so many amazing charts and projects! Thank you for sharing with us!
Good to see you ladies. You make my day, ❤❤
Thank you Vi. We are happy to share. Take care and happy stitching ❤❤❤
Wonderful video. I loved hearing about Sampler Symposium, Roberta. Congratulations to you both on 10k subscribers. Well deserved!!❤❤❤
Thank you Sarah. You guys make it all happen. ❤❤❤❤❤
I think people forget that we either pay for RUclips with our time by seeing the ads RUclips decides to show or we pay by subscribing and opting out of ads. Just like magazines, newspapers, TV and radio, RUclips is a business and they are there to make money. Ads are the way they do that. It doesn’t make sense to complain to the channel when they have zero control.
I think it’s pretty amazing to get content like yours for almost nothing. It’s inspiring and I always learn something.
Thank you for watching and your very kind words. So true. I’ve always just watched them and move on. We enjoy sharing with you and appreciate getting to know you. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your input on this. It reminds me of cable tv. We get ESPN to watch certain sports but if you want to see more games you have to pay more to add on ESPN+ or ESPN2. I hope we don't get to that point on RUclips!
Such fun! So many pretties! Thanks, as always and hugs.
Thank you Kathie for spending time with us. We enjoy sharing. Have fun stitching and we will visit soon. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤❤
What a video I always appreciate your telling us about your retreat, because I doubt I will ever get to go so it’s awesome to hear about it…..and of course your stitching is lovely ♥️♥️♥️
Hi! We got 7” of snow last week here in south Mississippi! That ties a record from 1963! There have only been 11 days of a trace or more of snow since 1893!!! School was out all week, and basically everything shut down!!I’ve taken an hiatus with my stitching, but I’ve been reading a lot! The last thing I was working on was winter rose manor by WTNT. I was going to the Symposium but canceled; I am going to Spring Green in June and Dyeing to Stitch in October. I’ll wish you a Happy Birthday early Linnie!🎉😊
Hi Judy. I’m so excited. We are going to Dyeing to Stitch also. We will get to meet. Crazy on the snow. What a record. I finally kitted up my winter at rose manor but haven’t started yet. Good luck. Thank you for the ea ly birthday wishes. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
That's a lot of snow no matter where you live, but especially when you live somewhere where they aren't use to dealing with that much. I enjoy reading too and especially books on tape. I spend a fair amount of time in the car driving and feel like that time is so much more productive when I can listen to books.
Great video girls! Roberta would you mind sharing how you broke up feast of friendship chart. I have everything to start it but I believe breaking it up would really help! Thanks!!
Thank you Beth. I bet she will show it on our next flosstube. Thanks for sharing with us. Happy stitching ❤❤❤
Thank you for the great flosstube! Also, thank you, Roberta, for the excellent recap of the Attic Sampler Symposium! I was so fortunate to be able to attend - a once in a lifetime trip! Listening to your awesome recap was very appreciated! That weekend was amazing, so special and so much fun! Thank you so very much!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the recap! I know everyone has a little bit of a different take but it was definitely an event I will always remember!
Wonderful to hear about SS. Also so enjoy seeing your finished projects and WIPs. So inspiring.
Thank you Carol for sharing with us ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Enjoyed your flosstube!
Thank you Billie. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing the Attic Retreat. I have shopped at the Attic but will never be able to afford a retreat so it was great to see the projects from the retreat.
Hi Wanda. Wouldn’t that be a special time. I love hearing about retreats and see their designs. Thank you for watching and happy stitching to you. ❤❤❤❤
It is an investment but I really wanted to hear from the amazing faculty. I appreciate your kind words!
Oh my goodness …. I’m a 3 or 4 AM stitcher too. I have to hurry and sleep because I have to get ready for work at 11AM😫
Oh Char. I’ll sleep extra late for you. That must be difficulty to wake up but I keep saying just one more stitch and before you know it it’s 4:00 but at least I can sleep in. Take care and keep those needle on fire. ❤❤❤❤❤
@@linnieisenburg520 😂
It was wonderful to watch you ladies.
Hi Shannon for joining us today. We really enjoy sharing with you. Hope you having some good stitchy time. Take care. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for spending time with us Shannon!
Our weather has risen above freezing, but it's not quite shorts weather. However, winter isn't over, so I'm keeping my sweaters ready for action! lol
Hi Kelly. We warmed up a little too but there still is snow mounds on the ground. I’ll take it. Stay warm and get in lots of stitching. Hugs ❤❤❤❤
You guys are wonderful
Thank you Linda for warning and your kind words. We sure enjoy sharing with you. Have a great couple of weeks of stitching and we will visit soon. ❤❤❤❤❤
Linnie, I just received an order with floss yesterday, for several charts, and have no idea which ones!!! This is a constant problem with me. I always tell myself to make a note, but evidently, I think my memory has improved because I always tell myself, "Oh, it will be here in a few days, I'll remember." Girl, I tell you! 😂 You are not alone. I keep each mystery order, separate, in a ziplock. I hope to remember which chart they belong to someday! 🤪 Great video, ladies! Love to you both from Grand Rapids, Michigan. ❤🧵🪡
Oh Kelly exactly. You’d think I’d lean by now. I give my memory a lot more credit than it deserves. However I do get excited when I get ready to kit something and I have a color in stash. How’s your weather in Michigan. Our snow is finally melting. We got to 60 degrees today. Almost wanted to put on a pair of shorts haha but who would want to look at winter legs. A double haha. Take care and happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
You girls are a breath of free air! Love to watch your videos!
Thank you Kathy for your sweet words and sharing time with us. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the kind words Kathy!
I enjoyed stitching my Prairie Schooler Santa while watching & listening to you. Happy stitching ladies ❤️❤️🧵❤️❤️
They are such classics. I need to stitch one of those this year!
@ I set myself a challenge on how many can I stitch in January, I will let you know 🎅❤️❤️
Good to see you both. Linnie, I also like the quiet time to stitch, but I get up at 5am to stitch. Question..do you know when the 2025 Prairie Schooler Santa comes out? Stay warm….here in Calgary, Alberta with windchill its -37. Great stitching and quilting weather. ❄️☃️
No. I keep checking. I imagine later on in the year. I’m so curious
Oh my gosh. It’s so frigid there. I hope you have warm Jammie’s. 😮. But yes. I live to stitch in the quiet. Please stay warm and happy stitching ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m participating in the Lil Something SAL with Stitcher With the Laughing Face on FlossTube. For my something old, I’m still chipping away at Serenity (Teresa Kogut). I worked on the Blooming Roots Series while I watched this time. February is Wild Rose Lane. Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
That sounds like a great approach to tackling our WIPs! I will check this out. Thank you for your kind words and comment!
I loved hearing about your retreat at Sampler Symposium. All of the history behind the samplers is so interesting., especially the explanation as to why young girls stitched what they did. I’m not a sampler stitcher but I did love hearing all about it. I enjoyed seeing all the WIPS and finishes. Linnie I love the giraffe with the candy cane in its mouth. I know you said it was on Etsy but my search was unsuccessful. Do you have any idea where you found it or what to put in the search box so I can find it? You ladies kept me entertained while I stitched on two different WIPS-The Proper Stitcher Winter Sampler and Primrose Cottage 12 Monthly Minis February. The house in Winter Sampler has a lot of fill in. Thanks for entertaining me tonight. I hope it warms up for you. I don’t know how you can stand the cold weather.
Hi Barbara. I did purchase the giraffe on Etsy. The designer is The Blue Flower. Thank you very much for watching us and sharing. We enjoy sharing with you. The samplers are beautiful aren’t they. Thanks to a Roberta for her love of them and sharing the history with us. Enjoy your stitching and we are going to think spring and of course GO CHIEFS!!!! ❤🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️
@ thank you Linnie for letting me know where to find the pattern. Hope your team wins on Sunday.
Another lovely video!! I will be at Useful Work in August as well! I wish I could wrap my brain around how WIPGO works! However, to be fair, I don't have a lot of WIPs to GO 😂
Always enjoy the two of you.
Thank you Noreen. We are so happy you joined us because this is a thrill for us to share with you. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the sweet comment Noreen!
Really enjoyed hearing your Attic recap Roberta!
❤❤❤❤
Thanks Delnora. Hoping to pop into your group in April!
Just always love and look so forward to your floss tubes ladies! Love all the retreat info..love the pictures! Love seeing your kitty Ruberta..we just adopted a kitten and it has been 9 years since we have had one...we have a 9 year old siamese named Samone.. well this new kitty was 3 weeks old when I got her she is feral..and boy I forgot how they love to get into everything,,,her name is Gracie May and I think I should have called her Racie May cause she just races all through the house..or maybe I am just so slow..9 years really makes a difference...well blessings to you both!
That’s so funny. Oh yes. Little kitties are wild. We call them the zoomies. Wish I had that energy. Thanks for watching and happy stitching Kim ❤❤❤❤
I know those years go by quickly. I'm trying to enjoy all of Pepper's antics now since I know she won't always be this playful. She is really a sweet girl though.
The Netflix movie, The Six Triple Eight was the excellent movie about women in WW2 dealing with the mail back log. Highly recommend! Another great video. I’d live to get to the Attic one day. Thanks for sharing all beautiful patterns. Go Chiefs❤️💛
Thanks Nancy. Wasn’t it a great movie. Those ladies were so impressive and inspirational. I haven’t been to the Attic either and certainly on my bucket list. We enjoy sharing with you too. We are so excited for the football game. It’s going to be a nail biter I’m sure. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
I'm going to have to look for that movie! It sounds very interesting.
Roberta that house is amazing!!!! Wow
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! I love it but am glad those bricks are done.
@ lol. See the bricks look like the part I would love stitching. We shall see. I am embarking on a Plum Street with a house but not as big as yours
I have been watching for your video every day since Sunday! I so look forward to them! Linnie the giraffe is Tall Treat by Blueflower
Thanks for letting me know Kristi. I should have remembered it was Blue Flower. I never did find the pattern. Happy stitching ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Kristi. I was hoping to get it up on Saturday but it takes awhile to set up a new computer, which is what my husband had to do. We so appreciate your encouraging words.
Hi so nice to see you ! Thank you for sharing! Happy new year and happy stitching!
Hi ladies! Linnie, I think you’re correct about the ads…when I watch flosstubes shortly after they are posted, I don’t see ads. However, if I watch a few days after they’ve been loaded, always see ads . Anyway, love listening to you both! And great summary of Sampler Symposium!
Thank you Georgia. Thanks for watching. Ada are a pain but at least they don’t last long. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your input on the ad situation Georgia!
So many fun finishes, and a fabulous recap of the retreat! 💕
Hi Kim. I’m sure you gals had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing with us today. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
It's been fun reliving the retreat through everyone's eyes and remembering the fun and camaraderie!
Oh my comments fell off - - I wrote it 3 hours ago. Great Video, glad you got to The Attic, nice haul, and what wonderful guest speakers at the Sampler Symposium. Wow, did Jean organize a great event, as usual, I've seen many Recaps.Loved each one. She's a rock star, and the sweetest shop owner.
Hi Dee. I was watching for you. Thanks again. You are a rock star in our eyes but yes it looked very is like the symposium was awesome ❤❤❤❤
No I uploaded a second video correcting the intro and unlisted the first video. I took a screenshot and sent it to Linnie andreplied to your first comment but maybe you can't see it if the video is unlisted? We love that you always jump on right away! ❤
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers I truly enjoy your videos, and hearing of Stitching events & Retreats. HAGN
You are great company for my stitching time. My chairside notebook always gets some "wants" jotted down. Pepper is delightful and enjoy her antics.
Thank you for sharing time with us. Isn’t it true. I always find something I want watching flosstube. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
There is always something new to tempt us, isn't there! Pepper is a sweetie and such a good companion!
Fun flosstube as usual, thank you. Dumb question: Where are the WIPGO numbers announced?
Hi Laura. You can find the WIPGO numbers on Jessie Marie Does Stuff Flosstube. She announces them towards the end of the month. It should say so on her flosstube title. February numbers are 7 & 8. Thanks for joining us. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Lonnie, I want to know where you got your hoodie! Love you ladies. I’m in Blue Springs.
Hi Evelyn. I bought it at Sam’s last year. I wear it all the time. Maybe they have some this year. Good luck ❤❤ GO CHIEFS!!!!! ❤️🏈❤️🏈❤️🏈
I think you are amazing that you can do samplers and borders. I can't make myself stitch birds either.
Hi Cathy. Thank you for spending time with us today. Happy stitching to you. ❤❤❤❤
I know a few people who don't enjoy doing borders. I don't usually mind but some can be a real challenge. I frogged the one on Stacy Nash's Winter at Holly Berry Farm so many times! We appreciate your spending time with us and commenting!
It seems that commercials have been ramped up for most videos so no worries. The Attic retreat sounded wonderful.
Roberta, thank you for the info on Betty ring! I knew about her for years and have her two book set. I had no idea she was from Houston and a docent at bayou bend! I was just there Saturday with my needlework guild to see the samplers on display
❤😊❤😊❤
I was there over 40 years ago (I've always loved historic houses) but would love to go back again now and see the samplers. I'm sure it was an amazing tour!
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers i have lived in houston all my life (66 years) and I had never been to Bayou Bend! I had heard about it over the years but never toured the home. I appreciate it now though and will definitely go again. They rotate the samplers every 4 months.
Sorry about the typo, Linnie!
No worries. I do it all the time. Take care. ❤
I so love your you tube. I feel like I'm sitting at the table having a cup of tea with the two of you. I so want to meet you both in person.
That would be lovely. Where do you live? We hope to share and enable and hopefully leave you with a smile. Have a couple of weeks of happy stitching and then we will be back. Take care ❤❤❤❤
It will have to be virtual I'm in southeastern Ohio. I love you gals.
@@Sneezy1956 we can always do that also
Great video ladies! I didn't see any commercials this time. Lennie I join the wool club too. Haven't started it but how are you going to display the barn? Are you going to hang it. Thanks for sharing .Have a great week.
Hi Barbara. It’s a very fun project and easy. I have book shelves in my living room and going to put it on the shelf. I’m going to give the shelf a little Briwax to soften the natural wood
Redo? I enjoyed the new intro. I also appreciate your recap of your seminars and other outings. I can't go in person, but still get a little second-hand taste of the fun. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I had to re-edit to add the intro photos back in and re-upload. Appreciate the heads up about them missing on the first go-round.
@Roberta.SABLEStitchers You put a lot of work into bringing us these high-quality videos, and it's greatly appreciated. 💕
Roberta has quite the computer issues this time around but she got er done. Thank you for watching and your kind comments. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Linnie did you see that ComoStitches is making a Chiefs project bag this week?
Oh no. I need one. Do they have an Etsy shop
@ yes. She sells only on Fridays and things fly off the shelves.
@ thanks for letting me know. I will try to be an early bird
Love watching you 2 girls. You both are always so happy and positive.
I was able to find the book with the reindeer and Santa. The Book is Leasure Arts ABC and it is from 1993
I’m so glad you found it. I had the year wrong. There are also some darling standup snowmen ⛄️ in there. Happy stitching. ❤❤❤❤
Good job tracking that book down! That was such a great project.
I love the little pillow with the heart and hand. Can’t find it online under heart and hand .Do you know who designer is?
I looked it up and it's actually a ,LaDDa freebie.
❤
Thanks ladies! GO EAGLES! 😂😅
Hi Maureen. Thanks for watching today. We enjoy sharing with you. Boy it’s going to be a great game. A nail biter for sure. Wishing both teams a great game and no one gets hurt. Your guys are so big. Enjoy Super Bowl snacks and stitching. Can we still be friends. 😂😂😂🏈🏈🏈
@ of course we are still friends, I live near Cincinnati so I am a Bengals fan and also a fan of whatever team is playing the Chiefs! Have a great week, I need to get busy working on Winter Moon!
Don’t forget to put the APOSTROPHE in Baby IT’S cold outside!! 😊
Oh thank you Audrey. I’ll write that down on my pattern. ❤❤❤❤
The giraffe Is by blue flower
Thank you Darleen. I should have remembered that. Thanks for watching. Happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Linnie, the top border of your Feast of Friendship should have 9 "humps", you have only 8.
Thanks. I finally figured it out. It’s all good now. Thanks for helping ❤❤❤❤
So enjoyed your video today while stitching! Have a great week, stay warm and GO CHIEFS! Terry
Thank Terry for watching. Last weeks game was a nail biter. I’m sure this one will be the same thing. Enjoy you week and happy stitching ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching Terry - we're also enjoying this amazing run of the Chiefs!
