My favorite though is 28 using two over two which is the same as 14 My eyes are getting weaker and even though I can do 36. It’s not so much fun. Do what makes you happy. Brrrr 10” of snow. Hi Babs. I’m hanks for r watching. Both Roberta and I are hoop stitchers. I like to use the inexpensive 4” hoop you can buy at Hobby lobby. I have arthritis really bad and it’s easy to hold a smaller hoop. Roberta has a nicer little bit larger hoop. Thanks for commenting and we wish you a happy thanksgiving 🦃

I learned in a hoop and that's how I like to stitch. I have a 10" Hardwicke but the hoop I use the most is a 6" vintage hoop-not a Queen but a Princess. It doesn't hold the linen super tight but enough to make it easy to see the holes.

I just remember the first time I stitched on black fabric and I was shocked that I couldn't see the holes. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes!

Many of them are antique candy holders made out of paper mache. One is chalkware with wire legs. I collected them over several years. The gold one is Avon, but I thought it went well with others. Thanks for asking!!

Probably the closest group would be the evening group Linnie goes to at Prairie Point. CC & Company in Blue Springs and Quilter's Station in Lee's Summit carry nice linen and the overdyed floss, but if you want silk floss I order that online. I hpe this helps!
