- Welp, since I saw a lot of people on the internet confused about the newest Fate/Grand Order servant we got today I decided to do a video to let you know how huge of a deal it is for us to finally get Hibiki and Chikagi as Azumi No Isora in FGO! Hope you enjoy the video! 🔥
For those who don't know both Hibiki and Chikagi are characters from another Type/Moon project called Mahou Tsukai no Hako and they were featured on an special Carnival Phantasm OVA called HibiChika Special, this video has one clip of that OVA! 🤩
It's nice to see a lot of Type/Moon characters finally reaching FGO, I really wonder who is coming next! 😳

Honestly it seems like they’re pulling from all corners from the Nasuverse now, wouldn’t be surprised if a character from Fire Girl or Canaan gets dragged into FGO.
Is Fire Girl even canon to the main nasuverse? As far as I'm aware it's entirely Meteo's project, and Nasu only helped a bit with the general structure of the storyline.
Most people don't even remember that Nasu wrote that scenario for Canaan.

Tbh they are one of the most obscure type-moon characters and when they said that they are an pseudo-servant, I wondered who is that character because even though they appeared in carnival phantasm, they were overshadowed by the fate and tsukihime cast and other characters too.
In short I am happy to meet 2 new type-moon characters, but those 2 are so obscure that even watching carnival phantasm again I will not remember those
They are the two main characters of Mahoutsukai no Hako, a bunch of drama CDs that go in detail over the adventures of magical girl Triten, the personified version of Caubac's replica universe.

This scene is from Grand Carnival i think. Though these two does appear in Carnival Phantasm
They only appeared in an extra episode of Carnival Phantasm, so it's no surprise if they hardly left an impression.
I mean pretty sure they were from the OVA, which were two 12 minutes episodes focusing on mainly hollow ataraxia casts. I’ve just watched it like 1 month ago and I nearly completely forgot about them lol
For a hot few seconds I thought FGO was collabing with other franchises. Then I remembered that this is FGO and such was not just blasphemy but would also bankrupt them(in their minds at least).

I think they came from another typemoon series. They made a cameo in carnival phantasm.
They were the mascots of the old typemoon website
They are both protagonists of Hibichika Time and Mahōtsukai no Hako. Mahōtsukai no Hako was at first a crossover drama CD series, and Hibichika was about these new characters. With time the series evolved into a type moon work of their own, with its own lore, mysteries, and honestly was a pretty intriguing series. I thought they were pretty much dead, really happy to see them both and Ketai-san again 😭, hope to see news on the series 🛐.
