This happened at spring Grove cemetery. I got out of my car to look at this grave stone. I turned around and saw a deer, I thought wow he must have been to deer hunter, then the deer started walking. I got in my car and got out of there. Got down to the entrance and started laughing hard. Spoked by a dear.
I'm not sure how they worded the official cause of death, blunt force trauma, maybe? There were two deer hunters using illegal methods. One flushed the deer, the other fired at it coming onto the road. (It's illegal to fire across where potential traffic might be.) When the flusher got to the road the deer was gone but the friend was dead. Evidently the deer leaped at the right time and the right height to kick the guy in the head hard enough to kill him. I read about another hunting accident. The dogvshot the hunter. The guy lost his balance, dropped the rifle, the dog came to the rescue but stepped on the trigger just right so that it fired, hitting the hunter. I think that was just a gunshot wound unless he died of embarrassment later.
How about "planet struck"? And no, the person did not jump off a tall building. I think it had to do with an illness that was believed to have been caused by astrological misfortune.
My dad died in 1995. They don’t know why de died at 36 yrs old (in his sleep). The report says “heart stopped beating” (cuz obviously there are markers for heart attack). Is that what they put down for unknown causes?
In 1850 my 4th great-grandfather died of "Gravel". I finally figured out they meant kidney stones.
