June-2024 Works perfectly! The lab no longer requires Kubernetes services, I have already deleted the kubectl command and the Lab not show the Zone, so, I use the follow commands to set the general region/zone: $ gcloud config set compute/region us-west4 \ gcloud config set compute/zone us-west4-c

facing error at Task 1. Create a project jumphost instance: Please create jumphost instance with the correct machine type.

The machine-type you'll use for the jumphost instance is indicated on the lab manual; it's e2-micro. You can delete the created one and instantiate a new VM in the console.

For anyone getting this error, Skip the K8s creation part and execute each command step by step and if you get any error, try to resolve it. Worked for me !
