For anyone seeing this thread, keep in mind economy of scale is in huge effect with this company. As of now (October 2017, the week after the Annapolis Powerboat show no less), the Seakeeper 3 (currently their smallest unit, 30-39' vessels) goes for $26,900... ...LESS THAN HALF of what is quoted by the thread starter. In addition, I was told by the reps during the demo that the company will be releasing an even >smaller< unit sometime in the near future (he's guessing mid-2018-ish), so it will more than likely cost quite a bit less than even the current model 3. For those complaining about price, keep in mind this devise is so effective that it can literally be the OPPOSITE of a deal breaker as far as buying or even RIDING a boat is concerned. Over the weekend my family and I went from wishing we didn't get violently seasick to actually scouring BoatTrader.com for something to buy instead of another car. For anyone who avoids boats at all costs due to sea sickness (like we did)...taking a ride on one of the Seakeeper demo boats is HIGHLY recommended...you will TOTALLY rethink boating, guaranteed. For the record, no, I have NOTHING to do with the company. Prior to the Seakeeper demo, I even hated being anything other than a catamaran (being stationed on the USS Belleau Wood for three months will do that to you).
I want to buy a yacht with SeaKeeper. But there is no such possibility. I can buy myself a ram, but there is no desire. Let's drink so that our possibilities coincide with our desires!)
I don’t even want a boat, but I will be buying me one these gyros! These are cool!
Did you see the price? They cost more than the boat
Don't even have a boat... But damn flywheel tech on this thing is crazy
They start at $55,000 ... wow. Plus installation.
you mean "not including" install or that price is installed?? This is why you can't have 1.
installation costs more ... cheapest unit costs $55,000 USD and then you need to pay to have it integrated into the boat.

Nice, do you do a small one? I keep falling off my bicycle.
No vale en bike si en boat.
Ramon Lara Alcantara why not ?? yes ! It could play same stabilizing effect ...
Your gonna need a bigger bike I think and not a smaller seakeeper
You and Joe Biden both!!

Does this also count for missile launches as well? would i Capsize a boat if i fired a Moskit from it using this?
Imaging if the flywheel in your seakeeper explodes

These could potentially reduce the rolling effect on a boat
Well derr!
That big weight spinning at high RPM's is unnerving!! to say the least!!!! If it lets go, it will kill someone not to mention wrecking your boat!!
We all have to die somehow, why not from a gyro, You here about it almost every day!
