You guys are probably one of the first people to talk about Memorial Day and the military. My husband has been in the military for 7 years. He joined when he was 18 we also got married at 18 we have sacrificed so much!Growing up without family being part of it. We have 3 year old twin boys and of course they have to grow up without family too. We see family twice a year but this is the journey we are on. Thank you for being so grounded and Humble! You guys are hilarious in the vlog🤍
Yes I was gonna say the same thing! My husband is also in the military. and the lack of support from people with platforms this Memorial Day was just sad! Such a refreshing thing to see them supporting the men and women who put our county above their lives.

About veterans; my dad is a100% disabled veteran and he gets money every month, free healthcare for life, and all of his children get four years of 100% paid for college (plus GI bill benefits).. but yes I agree with Julia and Hunter, they deserve so much more

While Memorial Day is to honor those that sacrifices their lives, I really appreciate your kind words. My husband is retired air force and my father (army/marines) just got in a car accident yesterday, blacked out driving and ran into a telephone pole. The airbag didn’t deploy. Thank goodness he’s okay and no one else was hurt. He’s been having seizures and they finally figured out that it was from his time in service and deployments. 💔 VA is just terrible

My brother Jason lives right outside of Nashville on about thirty acres. He is a WC5 with many tours under his belt. Knows several dialects of a few different languages from the Mid East.
I’m super proud of him and all he’s gone through (most he can’t even talked about because of the nature/class.)
He retires in a few months and I’m so glad he’s living his dream now and is safe and sound. He’s lucky.

Memorial Day is to be recognized as those who lost their lives serving in the military. I appreciate thanking veterans, but I feel like those who gave the ultimate sacrifice kind of get lost and forgotten. Veterans who are still alive have Veterans Day. Not trying to be a Karen but it’s important to differentiate the two days.
💯. EVERYONE in the military gets “Karen” vibes when people mistake the two. Memorial Day is to honor those who gave all for our country.

My husband and I are veterans and it’s always nice to see people who actually care about us. Some people talk down to veterans and think we’re dumb and just get free college. We get benefits to go to school because we sacrificed our families, safety, health, sanity and so much more. Thank you for talking about veterans on your channel. Veterans deal with a lot especially with the VA. Also, saying happy Memorial Day isn’t the best thing to say because a lot of people are mourning and it isn’t a happy occasion.
