Sorry; does not work like that. I power up the drone, and let it prepare itself. Then if I push the light-button, it just goes through all the colours few times, and then stays at blinking green. No matter how many seconds or minutes I keep it pressed. Nothing else happens, than green blinking. You must RELEASE the button, and only THEN PUSH IT again, and hold; THEN IT TURNS BLUE. Also after that nothing happens. The app is just searching searching searching forever. No help how many times I reboot either one, in any order; within 10 cm from each other. It just DOES NOT WORK. Period!
The only way I can download pictures (without taking out the memery card) is to use it in the flying mode: I go there to the picture gallery, and even then there are some of the photoes that I can directly download, but many do not have that download symbol on them. Those I can only send using some applcation; and I use the Outlook to email them to me. This is a very average Chinese technology, that simply sometimes work, and sometimes not. Mostly not.

Don't think you will get your 4k quality this way. I think you still need to remove the SD card
