Great video! I bought an amazon renewed 2018 256gb 11in ipad pro for $400 a few days ago and it should be here later this week! The main thing I'm concerned about is the battery health! I know you tried to check in the Settings app but its not a feature on ipados :\ but there are programs such as "imazing" (for pc) or "coconut battery" (for mac) that will let you see that battery stats when its plugged in. Any chance you could check that on your ipad and let me know the results? :D
so even if my battery is shot i think it still might be worth to get a new battery from apple for $99. that would still make mine a little cheaper than the apple refurb at $539.
Thank you! I'll try the app out! so far, the battery life has been pretty amazing I'm only charging it about once to twice a week. I'm a pretty heavy watcher too of videos.
@@serge-partykingtech5923 Glad youre getting great battery life. Unfortunately mine was very scuffed. I had my girlfriend record me unboxing it and as soon as i took it out i saw a blue tinted screen protector on it and immediately stated that it looked replaced. I powered it on and went through the set up process. After the setup was done, whenever true tone kicks in the screen will go negative and flash until you put it to sleep. it wasnt shipped and sold from amazon but i took the gamble and lost. :( i sent it back a week ago but im still waiting on the refund so we will see how that goes. The only refurbished product i will ever buy in the future will be official apple refurbished. At least they get a new shell/battery and be up to spec with oem parts.
I was able to check the battery and it only had 6 charge cycles. Maybe replaced battery as well. Maybe it just keeps getting sent back and they keep resending out cause it seems fine. The flashing only starts when true tone activates and true wont activate until after the setup on the iPad is done. So they may only be checking the screen during the setup and deeming it fine before sending it out. Im not sure. I ended up just biting the bullet and buying the brand new m2 12.9 256gb with my student discount. It was substantially more but I’m beyond happy with it and ill be using it for many years.
@@arminjarmin was it shipped by directly by Amazon? I had the same issue, from a vendor on Amazon so I sent it back a few times and made sure the third was sent directly from Amazon. That worked better for me and came flawless.
How much is the battery life %?
