- I originally passed on the Bandai Spirits S.H. Figuarts Avengers: Infinity War Hulk but quickly regretted it, and by that time it had sold out at my usual overseas retailers. Thankfully Amiami put it back up right before it released last week and DHL was lightning fast as always. All that means this amazing little green Mark Ruffalo is now in my hands. Never need another Hulk again...

I think Bandai was going for a Hulk that could fit in with the Avengers Infinity War theme or a comic style hulk which in my opinion they achieved both. This has to be one of the best 1/12 scale Hulk figures that I have ever scene. The articulation is top notch on this Hulk too. I cannot wait to get my hands on this version of the Hulk. This will be my definitive Hulk on my shelf. He should have come with the Hulk smash open flat hands. Great figure though. Hulk smash!!!!
IT SCALES! IT SCALES WITH LEGENDS! Yay finally I can have an accurate looking MCU Hulk in my shelf with legends!
Marvel select Hulks are the best. They slide nicely in to a legends set 👍
Dr Doom they look nice but they usually are too big to accurately fit with legends.

A Bruce Banner Figuarts would be cool, I’m all for suited characters with great face prints

This is the definitive Hulk figure I love how it can easily pass for a comic book Hulk. Looks something right out Peter Davids run.
Marvel select have the best hulks. Apart from hot toys.
Dr Doom Ive always wanted a well articulated Hulk. The select Hulks lack in that area.
@@EML4200 true but they make up for it with sheer size and sculpting I've got hulks all the way back from the 80s but the selects are my go to. Apart from the hot toys ones but their in a another league.
Dr Doom The Thor Ragnarok Gladiator Hulk is a work of art. In a perfect world the shf Hulk would be that size.
@@EML4200 I agree I love them both yeah it would be perfect with a bit more taller and girthy. I would love it if select had more articulation they have been getting better but they still have a distance to cover.
I would also really love to see someone make a stop motion with this figure!
I ordered this figure on Amazon and I make stop motion videos, so in a few weeks I will make one
The head sculpts make him look like an older version of the 2003 hulk, and I love it!!!

THANK YOU ROBO ! I've been looking forward a huge lot for this Hulk since the preorder came out. And I believe it's my ultimate Hulk figure. I've tried a few others, of several eras, several brands. Never completely satistied. Something was always off or missing. Colour, accessories, articulation, proportions... But your review just conforted my choice. I can't wait to have it in my hands !
Now I want an Amazing Yamaguchi Hulk. Because if I'm going to have crazy articulation gaps, I'd want it to have the crazy pose-ability and style of that line.
You can easily mix this with you ML set! This could be your definitive Hulk! Nice review Robo!

Hope Mezco could come out with an even better, more radical looking movie Hulk. The Ragnarok ones look promising, but I still prefer to see him in his classic stretchy pant.
Just got this Hulk the other day and It became my favorite Marvel action figure.
Just got mine out, your review helped me solve some of the articulation issues I had. Them are some tight elbows, and the shoulders are not intuitive. Glorious Hulk figure though, couldn't be happier with it.

thigh-cep swivel. I love that the size is really close to the Legends, I'm kinda amazed he's almost a little taller. He'll go really well with Hulk-buster.
Wonder if one of these heads could go onto their Gladiator Hulk. Sucks that didn’t have an unmasked.

@@vadr6383 for reals, I got the first avengers movie one that they released late and while I like the shorts on it better there is something I sitll dont dig on it as much as on this one.

You should check out the marvel select hulks. Amazing size and sculpting and they won't smash your wallet 👍
I love how it has his movie look but even if you’re unfamiliar with that look it could easily pass as a comic hulk. This looks to be the definitive Hulk. Glad I have it preordered! now to wait for that notification...
The Thing and The Hulk in a showdown pose, would have been awesome. Reminiscent of their many accounts in the comics.
Good intro, ha ha...Been waiting for this review so glad you posted. Appreciate all the great comparisons with other Hulk figs as helpful to see. Agree the face sculpts and proportions make for the best looking 1:12 scale MCU Hulk issued to date. Only nit I wonder about is that neck piece & the gaps between such & the shoulders on each side, does that bother you at all (as did not hear you mention it in the review) & does not appear to be an issue on Ragnarok Hulk as that part of sculpt appears different? As far as coolness goes I'd prolly still have to give it to SHF Gladiator Hulk with the great body armor, laces & the 2 weapons otherwise. Not a huge fan of figs with no weapon accessories but guess he didn't use any in the IW movie. The paint rub on the pants from moving the legs around is no biggy to me as Hulk should look a bit scuffed up re: his clothing IMO. Thanks for the HQ review.

What a great figure, I even dare to say that this is totally worth the money, now we all know that with SHF it’s not always the case, great sculpt, paint, articulation, the only bummer being that paint rub issue, the Black Panther has it too.
Im totally sold on the entire shf infinity war line. Including if they make figures for the next Avengers movie. :)

Nice review Robo! I was just lamenting how I missed out on the Select Ragnarok Hulk and looking at other options when I came across this one and then on top of that, you just put up a review. Perfect timing. I love the way this Hulk looks. I'm always hesitant to drop that much on a figure but dang if I don't need a good MCU Hulk and this one fits the bill.
I'm sure there will be a knock off version soon.
Since I think a lot of reviews tend to leave out "asking price" out of their analysis (and rightfully so, because 2nd market prices and how everyone's opinion on what's a fair asking price is for each individual figure), I'm going to add that the initial asking price for this Hulk makes an already great figure into an incredible one. The painting, articulation and likeness is the ideal standard companies should strive for when they're charging close to 100 bucks. Very impressed. I think that my favorite thing about it is that yes, it's without a doubt Movie Hulk...but at the same time the design is ambiguous enough so it can also pass as a comic/video-game Hulk too.
IMO as much as I like my AoU SHF Cap, I think Bandai needs to finally release a better and updated mold for the final movie. It's the one important character that's missing a truly great rendition of it (since Thor is getting one in early 2019).

Hasbro needs to make these Heroes: Winter Guard, Vanguard, Ursa Major, Darkstar, Charlie 27,Martinex, Nikki, Starhawk, Aleta, (Original) Yondu, Gorgon, Karnak, Crystal, Triton, Corsair, Hepzibah, Raza, Warstar !!!!!!!!!!!

How is this with the IW ML Thor? I want that SHF but man, that price... hoping the ML or Select can work my with 75% of my SHF MCU display. I own a KO of the AOU Hulk.... I can't paint figures but it would make for a cool paint job once I get this. And this makes me want to look for purple pants or a torn up lab coat on eBay to give this that "Mezco" feel.

I usually stick with Amiami, they have a deal with DHL that works out a little cheaper, and a lot faster. But I also use HLJ.
I got this figure and it’s awesome. But unfortunately the matte finish isn’t as nice as it was when I got it and one of the elbow joints is semi-loose
The first time I used DHL, there was a “FRAGILE” sticker, but they put bags on the boxes that cover it up. Nothing happened, but it worries me a little.
I feel like that hulk would look good with the revoltech marvel figures
It's way less stylized but yeah, this Hulk would fit with a lot of other lines.

Loved the Figma hulk but I never got one and now I’ll probably never get a nonknock off one. This will work.
Ha ha, that’s what happened to me too. I didn’t think I’d need this hulk until it sold out in ten seconds. So I watched the sites for weeks than forgot about it and when I was clearing out my icons I saw it was in stock so ordered one than regretted it, because their are so many avengers figures. But this review shows I made the right choice and can’t wait to add it to the display. Only issue is shipping from Japan to Canada takes a month if I don’t want to spend $40 on shipping (and after $100 on the figure I don’t want to spend that).
Andrew Anderson Its probably too good to be true, but deepdiscount.com has this Hulk on pre-order for under $70. I ordered one, so I guess I'll find out.

It does but the neck lengths are a little different. He looks like he has no neck when it's on the Gladiator body.

He looks great, seems like the face printing is less pixelated than on other figures
Yeah, one thing I had to edit out and forgot to replace is that they printed the shading on the face but did it after they painted the teeth and mouth so it got so black dots in there. Not super noticeable but an odd choice.

Man, CDJapan has been letting me down recently. Hulk only barely shipped today, and by slower means. And it took them a full week later than other shops to get my Hi-Metal R VF-2SS Nexx out.
Would really like for Hasbro to try and make a infinity war style hulk using a new body mold, they probably wont though
The figure is pretty amazing. But I will say it's odd how the hulk in the pic on the front of the box isn't the same hulk. Its him before he got the hair cut. It's odd

I think I may have to pick this one up. I need an Infinity War Hulk and Hasbro has not delivered. Mezco is on pre-order, but that's the Gladiator Hulk. How much was shipping from AmiAmi? I think I may just order from Entertainment Earth. Free shipping and it's ~$85.

@@jiveseven hulk is anywhere from 8ft to 10ft most legends replicate that scene from the incredible hulk movie before the hulk kicks blonsky across the park. Perfectly.

@@TheFwoosh both eyes, so it's not as bad as it could be. Also, I put in for an exchange because my Hulks entire upper chest lifts up, completely exposing the joint, at the ab crunch; almost like a pez dispencer. I referenced your review to see if that was an actual issue, or if mine was just defective. Unfortunately, it seems to be the latter. Really disappointed because everything else on the figure is perfect. I'm excited to get the replacement now though.
Huh, I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem either, and I know a lot of people with this. Yeah, best to just get it exchanged, I'm sure a different one will be much better.
@@TheFwoosh I honestly thought it might have been intentional at first; a way to avoid paint rub. But, yeah, yours definitely isn't doing it, and neither is any other reviewer that I've seen on RUclips.

SH Figuarts is my personal favorite figure company but i passed on the first hulk they did but this one is much better looking, I have separated my SH Figuarts figure into 2 different shelves since I was accumulating so many 1 is Infinity War 1 is Age Of Ultron

I don’t know how any of us can afford collecting every freaking Marvel action figure produced?!?! Lol! I don’t know how you all do it...I try to stick with Marvel Legends only, and that stills costs me a small fortune. Stopped collecting DC long long time ago. I’m not liking any new DC figures from Mattel and I’m glad for it, otherwise I’d really be broke!
