Locate the Hood Release Lever - inside your KIA Forte, find the hood release lever, usually located near the driver's side footwell.
Open the Hood
Pull the hood release lever to pop the hood open slightly.
Exit the vehicle and find the secondary hood release latch under the front of the hood.
