  • British Airways has introduced the Club World Club Suite for its Business Class service between the US and London. Currently the Club Suite experience is available on flights from LA and NYC.
    I loved the Club Suite, it has a door for privacy and every seat has aisle access. No more do you need to step over the legs of your sleeping neighbor! Aside from the door and aisle access, the British Airways Club World Club Suite has a lot of storage. And it's accessible storage, you can use it even when the seat is a flat bed. The old Club World seat only had a drawer for storage and that was blocked when the seat was flat.
    I flew British Airways Club World business class service from LAX to LHR in October 2022 and this video shows a detailed tour of my Club Suite seat. Overall it was a great business class experience on BA, service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Also check-in experience at LAX and LHR and lounges at both airports were great as well.

    Just flew on the 777-200ER with Club Suites a few weeks ago. I was downgraded from First Class when I had to rebook my first leg of my trip from a different origin airport, in which I was flying out of Cairo, Egypt instead of Amman, Jordan. On my next flight out of London, I was expecting the standards Business Class seat, but was surprised when I saw the Club Suite, which made the flight more comfortable. I had easy access to the aisle, the food was delicious, and the Champagne tasted amazing (first time tasting it). The Club Suite felt similar to the new Business Suite on Qatar Airways 787-9, which I few a couple weeks earlier. Overall, my overall experience was amazing. I hope to fly using the British Airways Club Suite in the future.

      Cool to hear but I would have liked to hear about First Class!!! Have you flown their First Class before and how would you compare it to the biz class experience?

      @@FreddySherman I’ll let you know in a couple weeks. I’ll be flying British Airways First Class on both the 777 and 787 in two weeks.

      @@ZGundam83 Please, I am very interested in the difference and whether it's worth the price difference.
      I had a great experience, the return flight (this was in Nov 2022) was the first flight where they returned to the full menu and service. I also love the outbound schedule from LAX, the flight leaves around 7 pm so you can have some drinks and dinner, then watch a movie or two and go to bed, waking up 7-8 hours later as you land in London, at 7 am local time!

      @@FreddySherman I just experienced 2 versions of the British Airways First Class. The Standard first class was comfortable but it felt open since it really opens up to the aisle and the IFE swings out. The First Class suite was better. It’s similar to the Club Suites, but the suite is slightly larger. My only complaint is, unlike the Club Suite, the First Class suite didn’t have a door.

      @@ZGundam83 Very interesting. Is the First Suite the newer, better experience? Also did you visit the London lounge?

    Looks like office cubicles. All you need is a small canopy and you'll have your own little home.

      It was a seriously wonderful way to spend the 12 hours it takes to fly from LA. And a huge improvement over the old seat, which I had on the flight home.

    How do you get the door to close? I’ve flown in the club suite twice and have yet to work out how to get the door to release, it’s been locked in the open position on both occasions

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  Год назад +1

      There is a small, semi-secret latch on the outside used by flight attendants. They should unlatch the doors after takeoff, as you are required to have them open for takeoff and landing.

    Traveling with a 1 year old lap baby from Chicago to London. Debating on whether to fly in premium economy or business class in a club suite. Any recommendations and do you think an infant can lay next to you when the seat is flat?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  Год назад

      Good question, I don't know about the safety of that. If the infant is already traveling on your lap, I would think you could sleep with him in any seat, including if you had a biz class seat. When the seat belt sign is on, I would think he needs to be secured however a lap baby is secured on a flight.

    HI Freddy. Quick question. Two of the window seats appear to have blocked out windows (one window only instead of two). Do you know which rows they are?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  Год назад +1

      No, I only know which seat was mine, mine was 13A on the LAX to LHR flight. Mine was the seat I filmed so you can count back or forward.
      Best thing is to check seatgeek.com they have great seat maps of the planes.

    Are you seat belted in?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  Месяц назад +1

      Other than when I am up eslking around or filming, I am really careful about always wearing it. Even when I sleep, I put it on outside the blanket for safety and so the flight attendent can see I am wearing it.
