Its funny no reviewer is talking about the major issue JBL tune 230 and 235NC had. The battery on both died within an year and JBL doesnt repair it. Someone really needs to call it out as they seem to be getting away with it.
I had 230nc and after 6 mnths left side created issues with battery and after replacement the gave me 235nc and same with them after 6 mnths of usage ..now both earbuds have battery issues now..just wasted 5000 on jbl..
6:57 petition for Ershad to make a video on explaining terms like "decay" and "attack". I did ggl this but didnt understand it. I feel he can explain it very well + it could help us understand the importance of these terms translating to better understand his videos!
"Attack" and "decay" are 2 of 4 terms (Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release) normally used in music production for when an instrument is played. I will only explain the two you asked but if you want an explanation of the other two, let me know and I'll edit them in. To put simply: > Attack is how quickly an instrument (like a kick drum) reach its maximum volume when it's played. A faster attack (say 10 ms), will hit "suddenly", and is therefore used in energetic music like rap and rock; while a slower attack (say 100 ms), will be more gradual, which is why it is used in more calm music like Lo-Fi. > Decay is what comes after attack - it is how long the instrument's sound will take to reach 0 volume. A shorter decay means it will sound like the echo effect you hear on apps like MS Teams or Google Meet; a longer decay is like the echo effect (technically called reverb in music) when you sing in a large hall or cathedral. Why are these important to judge in an audio device? Because the better the audio device is tuned, the more you will listen the instrument as intended. If a drum is supposed to be faster attack and shorter decay, but the audio device isn't able to keep up with it, everything that comes soon after in that track will suffer. Also, these are almost unnoticeable to the average listener as they happen in a matter of milliseconds. The more of an audiophile you are, the more these will matter to you. Otherwise they most probably won't.
@@akshatchauhan2204 Glad my attempt to explain was helpful! Before explaining Sustain and Release, I'll address your doubt. In short, yes. To elaborate, you must've seen in movies/shows how when you shout your name while facing a mountain range, it comes back a couple times - each time quieter than the last. A shorter decay echo will be like "AKSHAT...Akshat...akshat" and a longer decay echo will be like "AKShatttt..."; basically the duration of each echo is the delay. Let's talk about Sustain and Release now. > Sustain is basically how long you want the sound of the instrument to be at consistent volume before it fades out - or in other words, Releases. A kick drum with shorter sustain will sound something like "BOom" and longer sustain will sound like "BOOoommm". > Release is on the opposite end of Attack - it is how quickly you want the instrument to fade out to 0 volume after the sustain phase. Again, a shorter release is more abrupt, which is why it is more often used in bouncy and poppy genres like rap and pop. And of course, a longer release is more gradual and used in more mellow genres. PS: lemme know if you need any more clarifications or have something else to ask. Regardless, I hope it was helpful! Cheers :D
Ershad I would like to make a request to review Earfun products. I came to know from a different video that they sound as good as oppo enco air 3 pro in that price range. Curious to know your experience and review ✌🏼
Can you please tell me which one should i buy ? Are these JBL ones the best in this price range or should i increase my budget and go for something like realme buds 6 pro or enco buds?
Hey Ershad! I recently bought a pair of jbl headphones and I noticed that after 80% volume the headphones tend to cut all bass and makes them sound bad. I also had a jbl go and it had the same thing. I saw some reviews for go 4 and 5 and they had the same thing. Did you not find this thing in these buds? If so, did they not make them sound bad? This is the only reason why im always skeptical on buying a jbl product.
well i am watching this video on jbl 245 nc which i bough at 2500 on sale .. well better than both 2.. i would suggest evryone to go for jbl 245 nc or wait for these 2 two to level the price at 2500 and 3500 respectively..
These are cheap earbuds. Forget about Ershad showering flowers on it he must be getting for that. If somebody wants a good earbud, go for oppo, realme or even oneplus at the same price range. And my advice is to buy realme T 310 and save some money you will get a much much better product. Please listen some unbiased reviews on these before taking any final decision. Thanks.
Why don’t you review the Realme Techlife Studio headphones? I now firmly believe that you only review products if companies provide you with review units. Shame on you. I really trust your audio reviews, though.
I used those buds but it puts more weight in your ear and it don't fit for a gym or jog person , and funny thing is l lost one of the buds while driving because of its weight, i prefer oneplus buds over this it comes with a additional anc
Take this review with a grain of salt coz it's a promotional/sponsored one. I'd suggest to never get this and try the Earfun Air 4 Pro instead. I've seen it go as low as 5k.
@jeb_ultra9288 JBL has struggled to make a mark in the TWS market. While they excel in other areas like Bluetooth speakers, home theaters, party speakers, and over-ear headphones, their TWS offerings have been underwhelming since the beginning, often overpriced, plagued by connectivity issues, and suffer from rapidly decaying battery life.
I strongly advise against purchasing JBL earbuds. Based on my experience, they are prone to early failures. Within six months, my initial pair stopped functioning. Although JBL replaced them, the replacement units also malfunctioned after a similar period. Now, after a year, they are essentially unusable - playing for only a few minutes before the battery drains completely. As the warranty has expired, I cannot obtain any further replacements. This pattern suggests a deliberate strategy by JBL to sell low-quality products.
Worst product. Right earbud has white noise after a week's usage. Countless factory resets, firmware updates and nothing works. JBL should stick to speakers.

So true. Not even one person spoke about the issue. Also no proper service centre even. All are third-party vendors.
Mine too.
they gvae me a replacement under warranty and it died too soon after

@@itskxmrxn wow this is really helpful! Yes, please explain the other 2 too.
Also 1 doubt
Does a short decay and a longer one both produce an echo?

It's crazy how no one compares the tune, wave and live series for those interested in the different lineups and their pros and cons.
How much is ANC db level? Also what is the latency?
The most important numbers are missing from the video.. wonders if this video is an ad for JBL
The big question is how are these as compared to nord buds 3 pro.. ?
Can you please tell me which one should i buy ? Are these JBL ones the best in this price range or should i increase my budget and go for something like realme buds 6 pro or enco buds?
Can the earbuds be use 1 at a time?, meaning one in the charging case while listening to the other in 1 ear
How does it compare to the oppo enco air 3 pro?
