IDK. Neon got cut in half to no consequence. I don't think she has an actual built in super mode. Probably, any advancement she get's will require a lot more story build-up than we got. I kind of expect Anis will be up next. and we'll get to see her backstory. (In story, it's implied that she's a failed idol. So I'm guessing her career never really took off.) I wouldn't be suprised if neon's connected with DEEP. But it's also pretty clear that the collective has her cut off- probably to make it easier to maintain her cover. We're not at a point in the narrative where it makes sense for DEEP to come into the spotlight either- since we'd have to be in a better spot to abandon the ARK for her or the massive core to matter much.
